I think we would get a bit of a head’s up if there is a verdict to be read. They have to call all the involved parties back into the courtroom and that takes a few minutes. I feel like that’s something the Sun would post when it happens.

They may not know if its a note, a verdict, or a question.  Hopefully they post that theres SOMETHING of interest.

All of you getting your boosters.  - First of: yay! Secondly: are you guys based in the us? how long after the second shot did you get your booster? I feel like most people here got their first shot way before me (June/July), whereas you get your booster later.

And just to clarify: I am not saying this because I am judging or anything, just out of curiosity, seeing as every country handles boosters differently, and I got mine as soon as i could (shortly after 4 months, which is what they recommend now.)

Also, I really want a verdict before I go to sleep. Handed in my thesis last night, and then had the whole day to catch up on two threads (i did other things too :D) and I was reaaaally hoping a verdict would come out by the time I was done catching up.

I got my booster yesterday and only had a sore arm until about 24 hours later.  Now have  low grade fever and slight headache, but I think Tylenol will take care of those effects.

I was sick for two days. And my arm was sore, warm and swollen. It does take about 12-24 hours to feel anything.

Here's the updated post link.

If you saw my first post, it looks like the poster accidentally deleted it after posting.  I had it open in a different tab, so I thought it was still there until I saw "[Deleted]" in the preview. She then reposted with the link above.

I gave up. Ain't nobody got time for that.

I'm in the US and got my booster just over 6 months after my second Pfizer shot.

I was on a jury for a criminal (not federal) trial. We deliberated past the dinner hour and reached a verdict at around 10:30 pm. They called everyone back to courtroom, which took a bit of time. We didn't get released until nearly midnight. Oddly, we had to walk back to our cars in the parking garage unescorted, as the very upset family members of the guy we just pronounced guilty were also walking to their cars. Anyway, we went well past business hours. It was a Friday evening.

That is odd.  I was on a jury once and they let us go to our cars after the guilty verdict before they would let anyone else leave the courtroom.

Random Q, but goes with the thread drift and might pass some time: Did anyone here have a rough time with shot #2 and do totally fine (or at least better) with the booster?

Except for a sore arm, yes.

I had my booster three weeks ago and then managed to trip over and hit the pavement with a crash on my way back to the car! (Nothing serious: my grazed and bashed knee is just about healed now and my phone screen will never be the same again! And thankfully nobody saw me!)

But it meant that the next day as I slowly started to feel worse and worse I really couldn't tell which aches and pains were side effects of the booster and which were from me falling!

I've set a timer to make me go to bed in 20 minutes. Hoping to wake up to a verdict if there hasn't been one announced while I'm typing this!

I thought J-is-for-Jail's write up made a lot of sense... she thought being there in person would feel a lot more anonymous than it was (was expecting a lot bigger crowd and more non-media and non-Duggar observers).  I think she liked the attention of posting online anonymously but panicked when she realized that there was no way to be anonymous while still running into these folks for several days straight.

I’m in the US and had my second shot at the very end of April. My state didn’t open it up for me to get a booster (I’m not considered high risk) until a couple weeks ago.

I need to schedule my booster soon. I’m a little nervous because I had a bad time of it after my 2nd shot (Pfizer) so I want to make sure nothing important is happening for a day or two afterwards.

Booster was MUCH better for me - second shot was hell. I was feverish and so delirious I did not even realize I ordered a case of ginger ale and pedialyte (which I did not need) from Amazon Fresh at 4 am. Booster was worse than it should have been but only because I got the flu shot with it.

The recommendation I read was to get the booster 6 months after 2nd shot.

I’m in Canada! But I’m a healthcare worker, so that’s why I’m eligible now for a booster. I had my first Pfizer dose in March, second in June (they were spaced in Canada because of issues with supply). And now booster 6 months after my second, which is what they’re recommending here :)

I'm in the US.  Had my first shots (Pfizer) in late March and early April, and had the booster (Moderna - I went for the mix-and-match option) a couple of weeks ago.
