Does asking to rehear something mean there’s a hold out on the jury?

No. Good jurors try to make absolutely sure of what they remember. Probably es important in a public case like this with lots of rumors.

not necessarily - it just means there has probably been discussion on it and they want to hear it again.

UPDATE 3:23 p.m.: Shortly after 2:20 p.m. the jury asked to listen to the April 2021 interview of Duggar again. The interview was played for the jury in the courtroom. All three parts of the interview were conducted during the search warrant execution by Homeland Security Investigation agents at Wholesale Motorcars.
The jury also requested a calendar from May 2019 to the present. The request was denied by the judge due to the deliberation only being allowed over evidence submitted during the trial.

Glad they weren’t asking about the router!

Hoping for a guilty verdict before too long.

Who is considered online?  I keep a an FJ tab open on my phone even when I’m not using it. What is the difference between guests and anonymous?

For purposes of that, I think it's having been active in the last 15 min. Guests are people who aren't logged in. Anonymous is people that checked a log in anonymous box that we no longer allow.

If there’s 1 thing I would want the jurors to hear again and again it is the interview. It’s extremely convincing for a quilty verdict!

How far do the Duggars live from court? Were will they be waiting?

I think that's how I came up with my user name, back when there were anon comments allowed on the other board before this one

Tomorrow afternoon. Of course my work rescheduled a meeting to start about fifteen minutes before I need to leave. Sorry, not missing that shot.

They need to hurry up with the under 5s shots too. My two year old desperately wants to “go to doctor get shot vackine.”

And the jury needs to decide. The correct decision of course!

My 6yo gets his the weekend before Christmas. He's not thrilled, but he's excited to do his part to get rid of "that stupid virus!" 😄

We allowed them for a while here too, so theoretically there might be some people with really long held cookies that might be logging in anon. I don't remember the reason why they are no longer allowed tbh. I'm old and tired y'all.

I've been toilet hugging  and crying for 2 hours now. Am I the only one who feels-emotionaly, not intellectually- that a conviction for the monster will feel as though it is, over a half century later, myself, FINALLY being believed?

You are not the only one.

I remember in the TV special Elizabeth Smart produced about Jayme Closs when there was a round table discussion of kidnapping survivors and Elizabeth said something along the lines of yes! Another one of us got away! I feel like that, I may not get to see my abuser put away and perp walked but I so badly want to see someone else’s.

Regardless of what the jury says, I will always believe you.

I don’t know but now they’re going to have to hand draw the calendar if they want to look at dates, right? 😭

I know someone who’s mother died of Covid at the beginning of the pandemic (April of 2020). Her son who is 7 got the shot as soon as it was available to kids.

I am guessing that most of them “sort of know” that this is “family money” that they helped earn, but, as with the money being spent on JimBob’s campaign, they figure that JB as the patriarch “knows what he’s doing.”  Except for the very oldest ones, they may think JB always manages to provide well for them.

I agree that Jill and Derrick must be relieved.

They were told the show was the family ministry. Likely the campaign too. How greedy of them to think about compensation for the years they spent on the show. 🙄

No, it's normal for the jury to ask to look over evidence. It means they are taking their job seriously and the evidence they asked for helps the prosecution

Yeah I actually think this is good news. Absolutely nothing on that recording helps Josh in any way whatsoever.

I think that that was a straight up lie that they did not demonstrate any evidence for during the defense yesterday

Yes, I think they were trying to imply that because the prosecutors witness had created a simulation for the courtroom showing how you could use an app rather than knowing the command codes. He created that the Wed. before Thanksgiving while he was in DC and set it to Arkansas time zone. Defense tried to imply that was sketchy. At least that was my understanding.

I know it's normal for juries to ask for things, but it makes me think someone isn't convinced.

GUYS! Bolding mine.  this is key...Josh admitted to putting up the partition...the jury wanted to hear that. If some "stranger" put up the Linux...how would he know this?

Here's the updated post link.

If you saw my first post, it looks like the poster accidentally deleted it after posting.  I had it open in a different tab, so I thought it was still there until I saw "[Deleted]" in the preview. She then reposted with the link above.

Will Anna and Josh been counselled by the defence over the possibility of a guilty verdict?

Repeatedly and if those lawyers were worth a time, they made him sign something saying they fully explained all the options and it  was his choice to move ahead with the trial. I did that every single time with a client
