Ugh. Looks like we're going to get slammed this weekend with multiple snow events.
QuoteSeveral chances for impactful snow return to the forecast over the next few days. The first chance arrives late Thursday into Friday morning and the second, stronger storm system by Sunday.
Both the have the potential to create travel hazards, so we have deemed both Friday and Sunday Weather Warn Days.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for counties surrounding I-94 including all of the metro Thursday night into Friday morning.
After a short break on Saturday, a stronger, wetter system is in the forecast Sunday into early next week. This one has the potential to drop a good amount of snow, but questions still remain. There is a lot of uncertainty regarding when/if we transition to a rain/snow mix or even rain. The later that transition happens, the more snow we'll see.
I was hoping we'd get out of the winter season without having any more snow but I guess that won't be the case.
