In my "I'm not really a creepy stalker" post, I neglected to thank those of you who are following & posting these interesting facts.

Maybe Anna is on the way to her sister's house??

The Cirrus is in the air right now, flying back to Springdale from Rockford, IL. The two flights that are true and correct (ie, in and out of Rockford) are highlighted in yellow. The plane was only in Rockford for eight minutes, if this is accurate and I'm interpreting it correctly: landed at 12:17 and took off at 12:25. Our anonymous contributer has told me in the past that this type of information may not be 100% accurate, but idk if that means he might have landed earlier, taken off later, or both. :think: If JD was dropping Josh off for reprogramming, at least he didn't just slow down a little and push him out the door (this is a lame joke that gets a lot of use in my family, har har), I guess.

This plane has flown to Rockford before. I don't recall offhand if it's ever gotten closer to Chicago than Rockford.

I don't know what to make of the other flights listed, other than data entry error or something along those lines. I got a mess of email alerts with timestamps, and I may post them here in sequential order for analysis tomorrow--it's nearly midnight in my time zone right now. Or maybe things will be more clear on the website by then.

Flight plans are only required if flying under IFR (instrument flight rules). That lets the pilot fly through clouds and fog. If the weather is good, the plane is flying between two untowered airports and its not going through controlled airspace, no flight plan is necessary.

That's not completely accurate. It can depend on airspace, airports, states, etc. I know nothing of the laws in the area theses planes are flying, but I do know the law varies.

I enjoy this thread and appreciate the updates! :)

Just wanted to say that I enjoy this thread too. I think it is interesting to see where the planes are traveling.

Also, If Anna was headed to see her sister in Houston, I don't think the plane would take her to San Antonio or Dallas and drop her off there. That would leave hours in a car to get to Houston. Houston has many airports of its own so it would seem the plane would go to one of the many HOU airports.

The dupage airport would be closer to oak brook, but it's pretty small. I'm not sure what the requirements are to land there. Rockford would make sense in that is larger, but definately more manageable than ohare or midway.

Landing fees are higher at major airports (but less high if you land at off peak hours, especially between midnight and 5 am). Given the Duggars' claimed thriftiness, it makes sense that they'd go "minor and late/early" and save the difference….

If JD piloted to Rockport, his choosing to land there and not O'Hare or Midway seems an indication of his good sense and (relative) humility. Were Josh a pilot, he'd have flown into O'Hare at noon, done a Top Gun Maverick tower-buzz, and then, once landed, stood puffed chested on his little plane's wing, fist pumping and fan-waving.

FJers may have scored another scoop. Reformers Unanimous seems a likely place for the Duggars to send Josh (or perhaps to call upon for counseling services).

The connection with the Rockford facility to the Duggars in the past and the flight in the dead of night to allow secrecy or privacy protection support the possibility that Josh went there. And, if we can trust the flight log, the fact that the plane was on the ground for so short a time indicates adult drop off. If Anna was on board with nursing Meredith, I think JD or another pilot would have taken more time to see her off and secured with whoever picked her up. More likely, Josh (or JB) were dropped off (JB if he went there to seek counsel. If it's JB we'll see another flight soon to pick him up).

There's no way to be sure, because Josiah has a student license and there's always the possibility that the plane is being rented to other pilots. This was discussed many, many pages back when the Cessna was first discovered (credit to DuggarWatcher, RIP :wink-kitty: ), and I don't think it's likely that JB's ego would allow the planes to be out from his umbrella of authority with other pilots. Just my opinion.

Here are the email alerts I got, almost in the right order. For reasons I don't fully understand, one email came in twice--the second one having changes from the first (please note that I'm in PDT (UTC-7) and the Duggars are in CDT (UTC-5), so the timestamp on the emails is PDT, while the flight times are in CDT):

First alert came to my inbox at 3:23 PM PDT and stated the Cirrus would be off to Rockford at 7:00 PM CDT, arriving at 9:44 PM CDT.

At 6:17 PM PDT I got the top part of this one for the return flight to Springdale (departing Rockford at 10:11 PM CDT and arriving at 12:42 AM CDT. If they were on schedule, our pilot should have been in the air when this plan was filed.

At 7:44 PM PDT this one appeared in my inbox. Flight plan from San Antonio to Dallas. Incidently, 7:44 PM PDT = 9:44 PM CDT, the exact moment the Cirrus should've been landing in Rockford. I have no idea whether or not this is significant.

I got this one at 8:45 PM PDT, with the Cirrus "scheduled to depart from (R UIN 37 23) at 03:46AM UTC." I suck at adjusting for time zones, but since I just said that Central time is UTC-5, we know that's 10:46 PM CDT, and 8:46 PM PDT. I suspect the R UIN bit is coordinates taken from mid-flight or something like that; please chime in if you know more about this. This flight is headed to Rockford again. So I'm thinking there was a delay at the TTH--Duggar time!--or something.

Idle speculation:

There was an intervention to get Joshie into rehab. JD filed the flight plan, but Josh was resistant and it took five hours to drag him kicking and screaming to the plane. He was still causing a ruckus once onboard, causing JD to have difficulty filing new flight plans. Kind of like when your two year old has a tantrum in the back seat of the car. :lol:

Now we can hop back up to the second alert and see that the return flight was adjusted (email came in at 10:21 PM PDT) to depart at 12:56 AM CDT and arrive back in Springdale at 3:25 AM CDT.

If we reexamine the screenshot from last night, we can see that, yes, our pilot was able to get back on schedule and he was headed home right when he said he would be (he actually departed 30 minutes early!). The end!

I'm glad I'm not the Duggar family pilot... :?

Whether they do or don't, they know they need to give the appearance of taking some kind of action to reform him. I kind of think they DO think he has a problem, especially if it can be explained away as something not at all related to his upbringing.

To add to halcionne's log and her interesting account of why the flight plans varied, the current screen for N68SY's flight last night shows (I think) where the plane actually went and when.

Plane arrived in Rockford at 12:17a CDT, departed for Springdale at 12:25a CDT.

Earlier today I couldn't remember the name of a town in Ireland that I've driven through many, MANY times, but I remembered the Duggars being in Rockford a year ago..... Well, they've been occupying my thoughts lately more than I'd like to admit so it's probably not that surprising.

Something interesting as far as the treatment facility, as per Reformers Unanimous:

There are a number of fundy organizations in Rockford and the duggars have been there in the past. Ilk post some links when I get home on my laptop. I wouldn't go too nuts assuming anything at this point.
