Ughh she’s going to trigger me. This is one of my triggers. People who have money acting like they don’t. She is so extremely privileged. She has an enormous new house with 6 bedrooms. Does she realize that almost no one in the US has a house with that many bedrooms? That probably only .05% of all houses have that many bedrooms? That her house is huge in comparison to most houses in the US. And the US has big houses! But hers is even bigger! I’m sure she’s comparing their wealth to Shaw’s and saying, “see we aren’t rich! Shaq has millions and millions more!” There’s always someone with more money than you. So you can always do that to pretend like you aren’t rich. While ignoring the fact that you have more money than 90% of the rest of the population. You have lots of money Karissa. And you wanted even more by shilling a shitty mlm. You sell your children online for money. You are rich. You are rich off the backs of your kids and downline. Enjoy your piles of money.

There's articles out there that say mandrae makes millions. I don't know if it's true, but Karissa is nuts if she thinks people will ever believe they aren't rich. And bragging that they bought someone food? The Bible says we aren't supposed to do that... I swear these so called Christians try to outdo each other on how unchristian they can actually be.

She spends so much money on matching clothing and I’m sure they spend tons on food because they have 10 kids. Along with gas money for their sprinter and their enormous house means they spend lots and lots of money each month. She has huge expenses. So I’m sure because of that, she thinks they aren’t rich. But just because you have ridiculous expenses each month doesn’t mean you’re poor. It just means you have too many kids and a lavish lifestyle.

Karissa has posted before about how people ask her how they afford everything. She has said things like, “well we only get Sonic drinks once a week and if you use the app it’s half off!” “We get one annual membership each year then go there a lot. This year was Six Flags!” Which I’m sure small families do too but if you have a higher income then you can afford those luxuries for a family of 12.

She has also said that she doesn’t budget; she just spends what they need, and it all balances at the end of the day. That’s exactly what a high earner person would say. I say high earner because I don’t know if they are actually building wealth outside of equity. I would hope that Mandrae has planned for retirement and not just relied on God to take care of them.

The biggest travesty is that Karissa and her husband both have college degrees, but her homeschooling routine is almost non-existent. Her oldest son wants to be a pastor, and her oldest daughter seems to be good at basketball and track, and Mandrae does have connections to the sports world. They are likely more set up and prepared for the real world than the Rod kids because of this and because their kids are a lot more socialized. However, there is no way that the Collins kids will achieve the same level of income as Mandrae does.

Oh god I forget now. He does have a job. But they earn money in multiple ways. They have their own home church too. So you know they get plenty of tax free donations from people. Karissa sells stuff inline. She has an online clothing shop. She sells plexus. She does advertisements. She does photography. Mandrae has basketball camps he puts together. She gets free stuff for advertising things like the wallpaper in every bedroom. And of course they get gifts from Shaq like a sprinter van. They have tons of income streams. They are not hurting for money and haven’t been for awhile.

She’s as poor as Lori and Ken.  So poor.

We have 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.  My parents have 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.  We both happened to buy homes (in different towns) that were customs and uniquely built. We are both the second owners. Both owners also had obsession with lights and we have rooms with more lights that any room needs and few outlets.   We are far from the richest people in town but we all know we would be jerks to complain about money to anyone who doesn’t know how many medical bills we have and even then in only specific situations.

Anthym’s 3 year pics. This child she claims has blue eye. They are obviously hazel. They are very pretty. But they are a mix of colors so they aren’t blue. Hazel was a choice yet she didn’t choose it for the stupid shirt. She’s obsessed with having blonde haired blue eyed children.

I do think she’s shit stirring. I’ve come to the conclusion that she loves attention. So that’s why she put that in about drinking water. I believe she has been taking her to the doctor because of her medical issues. Do I don’t think she’s currently medically neglecting her. I think she’s exaggerating and trying to get attention.

So was it God or the doctors who figured out what was wrong with the child and provided ongoing medication and care? I think it’s pretty clear that if Karissa did as she claims she does and left it to God to cure Anthym the poor thing would not be blessing everybody with her company.

It's been speculated that anthym has bladder reflux, which might account for her many infections. Treatment of my granddaughter's reflux was daily antibiotics to keep infections at bay. She eventually outgrew it, which is common. But infections can lead to kidney damage if you're not careful... I think anthym already had sepsis... it probably scared Karissa enough to actually take of her.

I don’t think it took the doctors a year to diagnose Anthym. That makes it sound like they were running tests and monitoring her for months before figuring it out. I think that during the first hospitalization, their job was to stabilize her, give her physical therapy to relearn lost skills, rule out common causes, then recommend specialist follow up care. According to Karissa’s video, the doctors believed it was a metabolic condition. And then Karissa and Mandrae didn’t seek specialist care to further investigate, hence the second hospitalization. After that they seemed to walk away with a diagnosis and have posted about taking Anthym to see a specialist. I’m guessing that they were basically forced to because it was the same hospital (the nurses remembered them), and they could clearly see that no follow up care by the parents was done as it should have been.

I totally get being exhausted after such an ordeal and feeling overwhelmed with trying to navigate specialists and more testing when you just feel relieved to be home. But Karissa made a long video after the first hospitalization where she criticized the medical staff and basically said that she didn’t believe them. That is what makes me think she was just happy that God intervened to save her baby and that everything would be hunky dory after that with no other medical intervention needed.

The same happened with my daughter! When they were in first grade, her friend had to have kidney surgery because her reflux got bad. When I mentioned my daughter’s many UTIs to her mother, she urged me to take her to a pediatric urologist, who used the same treatment your granddaughter had. Fortunately, we caught it before any harm was don.

That's infuriating! The hospital may well have told them they'd be reported for medical neglect if they refused treatment. Dr Karissa will never admit that's what made her "believe" them. Why are so many fundies too arrogant to provide good care to their children?!!

My granddaughter was actually diagnosed in utero... she was on the antibiotics from birth and had a couple of awful vcugs, more traumatic for us than her probably. She's got various other medical conditions now, but that one cleared up on its own. I'm glad your girl turned out well!

Good to know she wasn't paying appropriate attention to her children even when she had fewer. What a shitshow (apparantly literally!) this family is. And it's incredible that she posted that publicly!

I am pretty darn comfortable with poop, despite never having children. I've had stomach problems my entire life and I've taken care of kids and adults with various disabilities, including colostomies. Now I have a spinal cord injury and in the SCI community, everybody talks about poop all the time, because having a good bowel routine is really important. I don't consider poop to be particularly disgusting, although for some reason vomit really really really is to me. What I do consider to be is private. Unless you are with close friends, or you are in a setting where there is emotional intimacy, or a medical setting, it is not something that I particularly want to hear about. It's the same with peoples sex life. I don't care what you do in or out of the bedroom, I just don't want to hear about it. Ever.

So Karissa is wrong on both counts. You can be comfortable with poop without having children, and literally everyone else in the entire world, I can say this was absolute certainty, there is no other human couple in the world, possibly in history, that would be OK with a poop fight with their family. It has absolutely nothing to do with kids, it has everything to do with basic hygiene and basic standards that evolution gave us. Poop is not disgusting but fighting with it definitely is. Given these standards, it is a wonder that anyone is ever willing to shake her hand, eat food from her house, or touch one of her kids. Who knows what they touched last without washing their hands or bodies?
