There are a number of fundy organizations in Rockford and the duggars have been there in the past. Ilk post some links when I get home on my laptop. I wouldn't go too nuts assuming anything at this point.

If JohnDavid was the pilot and Josh and JimBob were passengers I can only imagine how uncomfortable that flight must have been. The quiet and competent son flying the now disgraced golden boy to a treatment center with JB barely containing his rage. Not only has Josh derailed the gravy train but this treatment has got to cost big bucks and we all know how JimBob feels about his bank account.

When the flight plan showed Rockford, IL a great FJ detective, or maybe two, found that there is a porn addiction program there...run by some other fundie people....

So the speculation is that they are taking Joshley for treatment. It is still speculation so far. Ho ho

Just found this thread - I really need to look around more. That said, JimBob is cheaper then Ebenezer before the three ghosts came a callin' but he is not stupid. The wheels are turning and I'd bet money he's trying to figure out if he can sell The Redemption of Josh to TLC or another network.

Great point, I hadn't thought of that. The redemption arc might sell better than the last pitch he came up with that starred him and Michelle. So, of course he would be on board (if in fact they are going to the Redemption Center) and probably someone from Duggar Studios to get some video.

Idle speculation:

There was an intervention to get Joshie into rehab. JD filed the flight plan, but Josh was resistant and it took five hours to drag him kicking and screaming to the plane. He was still causing a ruckus once onboard, causing JD to have difficulty filing new flight plans. Kind of like when your two year old has a tantrum in the back seat of the car. :lol:

I realize this is all speculation until there is confirmation but I would hope that JB would not go along for the ride. Josh is a 27 year-old man and he should be able to make the decision on his own and get there without his Daddy by his side. That said, if it is true that Josh is in some kind of rehab program, I bet JB would have told him to go and would not accept "no" for an answer. If that is the case, good luck in rehab, Josh.

The Duggars are such bloody awful parents. It's never their fault. They're perfect parents. They raised their children in a perfect environment. And there's nothing wrong with their son. As if they would ever birth such a sick child. Of course they wouldn't. Because they're perfect and Jesus loves them. It's everyone else's fault. I'm sure they blame Anna, the real world, him living in DC, Satan, really everyone that they can blame. What lazy bloody cowards. Their son doesn't need "rehab". He needs to make serious changes to his lifestyle because obviously it's not working for him. Clearly things haven't been working for him for over ten years now. Did they ever work for him? Did they ever attempt to correct the situation? Or did they just try to beat him in to submission to their ways, instead of bothering to compromise with him or allowing him to live in a way that's healthier for him?

That's very charitable of you and highly optimistic. I think the only time Josh has acted without his father's influence/direction were the molestation/porn/AM and social media accounts. {Exaggerating but only slightly.}

I have an aviation-related question about the planes. Does anyone know how much it costs to fuel the planes they own? It seems like they've been doing a lot of flying lately and I'm assuming there are serious $$$ involved.

Did a quick search on the plane for a cirrus sr 22 one site said $90/hour in fuel and $130 all in (I assume that is some allocation for maintenance... Or it could be fees if that person was renting or accounting for landing fees)

My BIL is a pilot and will occasionally rent a small plane for a point to point vacation with the family. It is usually only a little more expensive than commercial tickets if he plans carefully and rents from someone who charges for flying time and not hours plane Is off their lot.

BIL flies private jets for a living and those are tens of thousands a trip for the passengers but they are usually flying long-haul.
