meh. this is a  currently popular picture for folks to post.  Usually it's dad taking the selfie though, a funny, "we're doing great mom!" snap chat thing.  Obviously dad didn't take this, so it looses some of the humor.  Obviously parked. 

Also, is that a stick shift? Looks like a  stick from here. Probably good to teach stick first, right? that way izzy will think manual driving is a breeze.  (joke, joke).

The article says that companies like Milk Bone and Blue Apron didn't intend for their ads to be run during Counting On. Definitely interesting. If it's true, I don't understand why TLC is so in love with the Duggars that they have to pull these sketchy moves. 

I'll be very interested to see which advertisers stand fast with the Duggars.  From what I can tell, its mostly skittles and Delta faucets that are refusing to acknowledge the complaints.  Most back down within a few days from the negative emails, which is great (KEEP EMAILING!).  Their numbers will keep them on the air, but not if TLC cant fill in the air space with what really brings in revenue.  I think advertisers are keenly aware that a lot of those numbers are people watching to see who advertises, not just people watching because they enjoy the show.

someone mentioned the ads for the places that the seewalds frequent - if they have problems with the places the seewalds frequent and post about - why do they continue post pictures from these places if their head offices are against them  ?

TLC ads fill the "dead" space in the content, because the Duggars can barely fill the 45 minutes they have to, let alone a full hour.  TLC doesnt make money off of eyeballs, they make money off of companies paying for those eyeballs to see their ads.  If the companies dont pony up, theres no show.

Add to that a repressive religion/cult that won't allow her to be anything buy joyful and submissive to the person who betrayed her.  She has no nonobjective people to talk to, only his family, who are more concerned with the loss of their gravy train than what she is actually dealing with. And, she doesn't have the support of her parents, because they feel the same as his family, and the fact that she doesn't have the knowledge or mental capacity to process these emotions because she's never been taught them or been allowed to feel them.

Yeah...that Izzy picture isn't a big deal really since they are clearly parked. He looks like he may end up being a climber though I bet. I see many bumps and bruises in his future.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they did.  I'm sure it wasn't outright but more subtle digs.  I can hear MEchelle in her baby voice saying something like "Oh sweetheart, I really don't know how to help, I've never had anything like this to deal with, just pray harder and be more sweet and available and Joshua will be a happy husband."

What Michelle did was even worse!  After Josh was sent to detention, Anna left her three kids at the Duggar family compound and took the new baby to visit Anna's parents in Florida.  While she was away, Michelle re-posted an old entry on her blog giving marital advice about how wives should always be available for sex with their husbands.  What a cruel thing to do, as if Anna is to blame for Josh's viewing porn and adultery!

Agreed! she's going to be busy chasing after him and trying to catch him. And if her next pregnancy is in the next year it'll be really tough- morning sickness plus chasing a wild toddler. she's overwhelmed as it is now. But her example is her mother: when you get overwhelmed you just keep on keeping on having the kids and pray god sends some kind of help.

I remember this, but after seeing Anna in the  new  show, I am so horrified and grossed out at the real evidence of all of this horrible  misogyny. It is so sad. Sick and  sad. Poor Anna.
