This makes me sick to my stomach. I kind of wanted to laugh its so absurd. Do you mind if I ask where this was ( general region is fine, like southern US or something? I really hope that this patriarch movement dies out soon, its so bad for women.

Count me in as one who is concerned for Jessa's well being in the marriage. She doesn't have any real life skills that would help her be self sufficient if she doesn't like being married to Ben. I really hope she doesn't wind up trapped in a bad marriage.

Ben seems like a young egotistical maniac. His immaturity, lack of real life experience, ignorance and desire for fame could put Jessa in a bad situation. I can see him being VERY controlling. Not a good situation for her.

I think Jessa may be tougher than she appears.Recall she was the one who grabbed Jordyn by the chin during homeschooling,and yelled "you say No thank you!" (poo Jordyn).I do think Jessa learned that behavior from someone else...likely JB or M.(M would be my bet).But I do think she has a bossy streak in her.

I'm not so sure she will have a ton of kids,either.She could find a way to avoid it.

What? Get out of here! Jessa actually yelled at a sibling on camera? I still can't get over how young Ben is. Does anyone know when he will be 19? I'm sure many people have questioned JB about Ben's age. Can't wait to hear his explanation when the new season starts. If they were dating...regular folks wouldn't care but they are courting which is VERY serious in fundieland.

Im not as worried for Jessa as I would be if it was Jana. Jessa seems quite tough, and probably the one out of the Duggar girls who would be the best at standing up for themselves, compared to shy, timid Jana. I think she will be fine, although I do worry about her having loads of kids, being overwhelmed and not coping (she doesn't seem like a kid person) and then taking it out on them, or turning out like Michelle.

I don't think he will, especially with whats going on at the moment. Not because they no longer like him, but because his presence will make people think badly of them, and they want to be seen as this nice, wholesome family and nothing says wholesome like associating with a child molester.

The parents "insist" that it's the young adult's decision to go along with...whatever. So if Jessa decided NOT to court and save her 1st kiss, do you think JB and Michelle would be cool with that? I have to say that Jessa's courtship just makes me sad. What a lot of pressure to put a 20 years old under. To expect that the first person that you have feelings for she is expected to marry. I just don't see why she can't date him and see how it goes without the huge pressure to be married in about a year.

She should be able to enjoy her youth. It just makes me weep!

It wouldn't surprise me if BG and DimBulb have a chat about how it would be bad for BG if he were to be on 19K+C because more people will google him and that it "seems best if this all just gets behind us" BS from DimB. So, BG is welcome to be there but not sign the waiver that TLC requires, thus making it impossible for him to be shown sans blurry face on TV.

Serves them both in a number of ways:

1) BG not having more publicity, which would obviously be bad at this point

2) Dim+Duggars avoiding bad publicity by being seen with BG by viewers

3) DimBulb and BG further their conspiratorial and "special" friendship

4) BG still gets to feel part of a "royal" wedding.

I thought I was the only one who noticed this or perhaps reading too much into the brief glimpses we get. I do vividly remember an episode where Jessa was homeschooling the little ones and she was very frustrated/bossy when attempting to get some of the little girls to nap/boys to focus. Having spent a lot of years caring for little ones, I chalked it up to that overtiredness/long day thing that happens where any small thing can set you off. Now I wonder about where that behavior was learned. Interesting
