Roy Moore is a loser: Sweet Home Alabama- 2

"Just reporting the rumor that I just made up."

Well, I am hearing rumors that the Alabama prison system released 34,000 inmates convicted of child molestation on Tuesday to go and illegally vote for Roy Moore. No worries, they were returned to the prisons after they voted. Well, except for the 23 that somehow disappeared.

I'm also hearing that Steve Bannon voted in the election, four times.

Oh, and did you hear the one about Sassy? Well, apparently Roy has a neighbor who claims that Sassy is actually HIS horse and Ms Kayla snuck into his barn one night...

Even the Orange Fart Cloud wants Moore to concede

Quote

President Donald Trump called on fellow Republican Roy Moore on Friday to concede to Democrat Doug Jones in the Alabama U.S. Senate race, following the party’s stinging loss in the southern U.S. state earlier this week.

Moore, whose controversial candidacy was beset by allegations that he sexually assaulted or pursued teenage girls while in his 30s, has so far refused to admit defeat in Tuesday’s election that saw Jones win by 1.5 percentage points with 99 percent of the ballots counted.

The embattled Republican has made two statements since his loss, but has not conceded even as Trump and others have reached out to congratulate Jones, a former prosecutor, on his win.

“I would certainly say he should,” Trump, who endorsed Moore in the final stage of the campaign, told reporters at the White House.

I notified the Alabama Democratic Party and passed the info on to several friend who are on social media now that I am not. I have nothing more I can give to this one. Calling what I am trying to survive in the broken family court system of this state a nightmare is an insult to nightmares. Moore is a symptom. In this state, we still silence victims, believe charming liars and hurt vulnerable women and children because powerful white men with money are more valuable then their victims, especially when those victims struggle with disabilities.

If you feel like passing me some specific information about your experience, I can make sure it gets to the right place. PM me if you'd like.

Man, it was fun reading the last thread with the play-by-play of Tuesday night. I'm proud of being just a tiny part of the Doug Jones victory and will remember that night the rest of my life! As a few posters have alluded to, one of the hardest parts of living in his state is feeling utterly alone in wanting it to move into the 21st century. And I live in one of this state's few bright spots! This week I saw young people and minorities empowered, and seeing for the first time EVER that their voice, their vote, MATTERS. I know, I know, 65% of white women in Alabama suck. But 35% of us DO NOT and we're NOT going away! We want that shithead Mo Brooks' seat next!

"I also wanted to let you know that this battle is NOT OVER," he wrote, and he added that his campaign was collecting "numerous reported cases of voter fraud."

By Sunday, I predict he'll be telling us how the shape-shifting lizard people from Mars stole the election from him.

I can only hope that this convinces a handful of people who were on his side that he is a fucked up piece of shit who needs to be put out to pasture.

Sassy wants him to go to the glue factory. Well, people have said. And I've heard rumors and they are saying. All the other horses in the barn, you know.

And now asking his faithful supporters to send money to finance his continuing delusion. Wouldn't it be smarter to use that money to pay off their various mistresses, former employees and angry ex-wives?

And some of my crazy ass fundie relatives are sending him some. I am officially done with them. They are financially supporting this POS. I can't reconcile that.

I hope that some day your relatives will realize that this shyster is conning them into financing his perverted lifestyle. Remember the majority of the people in Alabama believe what you believe, not them.

Sad for you, though, I know how hard it is to distance yourself from family.

Some preacher horse's ass has an interesting theory as to why Moore lost the election;

Quote

Speaking on his radio program this Tuesday, nutbag anti-LGBT pastor Kevin Swanson shared his thoughts on why Roy Moore lost his bid for the Alabama Senate.

Swanson mentioned data that showed Alabama as one of the states that spent the most time on the website Pornhub in 2016. According to Swanson, it’s a clear indication that Alabama “probably has significant sexual problems, especially since Doug Jones is so in favor of sexual perversion, transgenderism and homosexuality. Evidently, the state of Alabama must have a problem with sexuality. It’s obvious.”

Swanson went on to say that unless there’s a “spiritual awakening” in conservative states, they’ll probably become “liberal in their moral values within another five, 10, or 20 years.”

If you cut off internet access to Roy Moore's house, I bet the numbers would drop dramatically. :kitty-wink:

Actually Alabama does have sexuality problems. They're called misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, and rape culture. And they tend to prevalent in fundies.

I haven't seen this interview, so keep that in mind when reading my comment. But on the face of it, I agree with Doug Jones. Why? Because however reprehensible I find the presidunce's behavior towards women, I want him to go down for his corrupt and colluding conspiracy with the Russians and his blatant attempts at building a kleptocratic autocracy. Of course, I condemn him for being a sexual predator, but I want him to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and take a walk of shame in handcuffs. I don't want him to 'merely' step down because of his sexual behavior.

If that is what Doug Jones was getting at, then I understand him saying this. If not... :(

My first thought is to say a big what the fuck to Jones, but I'll wait and see on this one.  Hasn't even been sworn in, and I want to (but it is not easy) withhold my judgment for now.  That being said, I'm not the most forgiving person. If he in anyway seems lenient on Trump I'm done.

I don't care what it takes to get Trump out of office.  I just want him gone.

And those inflicted with such problems tend to sit in judgment for the specks others have in their eyes all while ignoring the fucking redwoods in their own eyes.

Keep saying double jeopardy.  I know I do, because we need to get it right first time. There will be no do over.  Something needs to take him down in the eyes of the TTs. I pray to Rufus they wake up and smell the orange shit storm that will follow the tax bill.

I don't care about them, they have had plenty of time to see the truth and they refuse. I want them out of the way.

I don't care about them either, but if they start to turn on him we get more Senate and House seats.  After that they can all go to hell.

My favorite quote from Doug Jones about Roy Moore's loss is, "You can't go prancing around the stage waving a pistol and wearing a cowboy suit and expect to be taken seriously".

I am so glad this is settled as of the count today.  For all those fools who are contributing money to Moore's recount, I have this to say, "See ya later, suckers"!!

Roy lost because he's a venal, horrible, racist and a big fat liar.  Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, Roy! :pb_lol:
