I wonder if Trump actually thinks of the funds donated to his campaign as being his to do w/ as he likes. We know he’s spending funds from his PAC to pay his lawyers, perhaps he thinks he can dip into those funds to stay enforcement of the judgement as well. 
I’m not sure whether the latest filing by Trump’s lawyers is just an attempt to lower how much he has to put up & if denied he’ll come up w/ a bond, or if in fact he doesn’t have the assets.

I think that's exactly correct.  There's an article up on Raw Story that says Letitia James might be thinking of going to his business partners and making a deal with them and leaving Trump out of it entirely.

I don't think he HAS any friends. Billionaire or otherwise.

I think the actual Billionaires know he's not one of them, and only associate with him as much as they need to in case he manages to be useful to them again. I think the people who do regularly act all friendly with him are actively using him NOW, and/or simply aren't in any position to help him even if they wanted to. And I think he owes a lot to a lot of people and the people who have money to spare in the amounts he needs, know full well he's not trustworthy and they'd be just as well off - and probably their reputation WOULD be better off - throwing that money in the garbage.

Donny says that he, of course, has $500 million but he was going to use it on his campaign.  Now he can't because all the horrible liberals are communists.

I wish someone would call him on this.  There was a crime.  It's illegal to lie about your assets on formal paperwork -- particularly having to do with taxes.  The victims were the banks and the citizens on New York who have to pay more taxes because Donny pays less.  And the banks who gave him preferred rates lost money.

There are a lot of crimes in these categories.  If you make plans to kill someone and don't accomplish it, you have still committed a crime even though you don't have the expected victim.  If you plot to rob stores -- same thing.  If you fail to pay your income taxes, it's a crime and they can send you to jail.  

Donny is just, once again, counting on his followers to not understand the law.

He's still in full tantrum mode.

"A lifetime of hard work to accumulate and build..."  Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.  Translation:  He had to get the money from his daddy and later he had to cheat his relatives.  Then he had to lie to get better rates, refuse to pay agreed upon payments for workers, and lie to get his taxes lowered.  The man has never done hard work.
