Perhaps, just perhaps Mr Penwell Sakala has been asked to keep John talking by the Visa department? He travelled to  Nepal as a visitor but 'worked' whilst there. Perhaps the Zambian authorities have been asked to keep a 'quiet' close eye on him. 

John has a HUGE mouth. If he is planning to go anywhere else in Africa/back to Nepal he won't be able to keep quiet about it. It's a wonder any Donkeys in Zambia have any hind legs the way John spouts for 3hours or more every Sunday.

Does John bring food when he goes to these villages? If so that might be why no one in the village is slightly interested in listening to John preach, but Mr. Penwell Sakala  keeps asking John back and patiently listens to him for hours.

Isn't John's oldest child just 13?  And isn't Esther pretty heavily pregnant now?   What happens if something goes wrong?   I know they have a ton of vehicles, but what happens if she can't drive?

I completely understand that some people have to work while their partner is pregnant, and that's part of their family deal - and of course, lots of women also work right up to their waters break.  But I wonder what kind of plans the Shraders have in place, like everyone I've ever known has.  I wonder why he never talks about any of this?   Because he's chosing to go rushing around the bush playing Great White Saviour, while Esther is pregnant at home looking after all the kids, with her oldest child only just a teenager.  I don't understand why he's doing this, when he sets his own plans, and could just as easily be focusing on the people nearby?

Giving birth is WIMMINZ business!  It is not for a GLORIOUS MAN to concern himself with!  John-boy has a GREATER mission to save ALL OF ZAMBIA!  He can't be worrying about his silly WIFE or letting her hold him back!  NO!  John needs to galavant!  Esther will just have to figure it out and trust Jesus.

Honestly, though, as HE is not the one giving birth, I do genuinely doubt he's given it much thought.

John's oldest daughter, Alatheia, is 13 - 14 in March. The oldest son, Enoch, is turns 15 next month.

I was reading an article yesterday about higher HIV rates among women, and especially young women, in Sub Saharan Africa.  The young woman profiled had aids transmitted from her mother at birth, and the mother had subsequently died.  She is  living with the social stigma of aids and fortunately had found an agency to help her with schooling (cosmetology school) and other needs, such as receiving anti-retroviral medication, so she now has a future.   

About 20% of Zambian adults in urban areas are infected with HIV.  It crossed my mind that John hesitated to offer a lift to a dying man because he fears HIV. 

There's so much that Bro. John could be doing with his resources, but no. As is sometimes said in this part of the world, John is as useless as tits on a boar hog.

He posted that Esther was doing well and still able to help him out with his printing ministry. Then he made a post about how he hates Satan. Alathea is making washcloths for the family. John loves her servant's heart.

And he made a video for the Hispanic churches that support him. How is his Spanish?

And I don't think this has been posted yet from December 2nd.  Update on Esther, the Shraders kill more African wildlife, and he'll do updates on the children sometime.

Esther is two weeks out from her E.D.D. (estimated due date is how they say it here in Zambia.)

She's doing great, and joined us this morning for evangelization preparation, helping me staple tracts! What an amazing lady! I'm so blessed by my sweet wife!

We are very grateful for our doppler, which allows us to both hear and check the baby's heart rate. He is doing well also. Good heart tones, responds well...for this we thank God. The midwife is on standby and we are gearing up for the soon arrival of #11, the "2017 Model."

We also had a, we think, tarantula decide to pay the children's bathtub a visit early this morning before outreach. After the commotion and obligatory pictures, Enoch put it out of MY misery!

The kids are all doing well, we'll have to do a kid-by-kid update soon. Esther and I are truly blessed by the sweet and spiritual hearts of our children. To hear them pray at our weekly church prayer meeting here in Zambia this evening...truly touched my heart. Their love for the Lord, for lost Souls, for each other, and for us as their parents is a blessing beyond words.

John, with his manic highs and lows, is oddly one of our more consistent fundies.  He remains as selfish and self-centered as ever; he continues to disregard his family; he somehow never notices just how miserable people are in his photos.  People didn't seem to be staying for the service; they seemed to be avoiding the rain...and not happily, just enduring. Gotta say, though, that pic from the 26th, where he tags his friend to show off his iPad...that's impressive.  This is certainly no humble missionary who give selflessly to those he serves!  Johnny boy always makes sure he has the best.  

And sweet baby Jesus, will he EVER stop with that horrific insulting accent?  That Spanish, too... I agree with @HermioneSparrow, that was awful. I did a double take at "la trabajo." Wonder just how badly he's mangling the local dialect...but it's that shitty, overly enunciated speech affectation that just kills me.  It's a shame those kids probably aren't allowed to laugh at him, because I think that would maybe make him realize how terrible he sounds.  Or Esther...I also like the thought of Esther laughing at that accent and pointing out that that isn't his natural speech.  But I suppose he's insulated himself from critics and is certain that any negative commentary is simply from Satan.

ETA: I suppose the "la trabajo" makes sense for John.  When has he ever known anything about real work? Why would that word be in his vocabulary?

It breaks my hear to see a 13 year-old daughter so eagerly help to pinch pennies for her mother's childbirth while John keeps travelling and buying overpriced camping gear.

Shrader posted a link to a Freitfart article presumably bemoaning Moore's loss.  I didn't follow it and and we don't link to that shit site (or others like it) on FJ.

Has it occurred to John that a "testimony of spotless moral character" doesn't mean Moore has or had an actual spotless moral character in reality. 

After all, Shrader's own "testimony" is that he is hard working and always worked hard to support his family.  In reality he has been getting into debt and grifting money from family and friends for years.

Eh.  I suspect that it has more to do with training her to be a helpmeet and John pretending that they are frightfully frugal than actual need for cheap washcloths.  Quoth a leg-humper: "Praying that one day she will be a helpmeet to a godly man of God. A blessing to see her training to become just that."

We have never seen any signs of the kids doing actual school work since they got to Kafue.  They go on camping trips, kill animals, make cakes, staple tracts, and sew washcloths instead.
