It's a great bottom! I guess that's why she's determined to show it to so many diplomats. The Queen had a bit more discretion, however. No sign of her bottom, 96 years and counting.

Yes, she took an enormous risk by declining Edinburgh. She had no idea if she'd get into  the History of Art program at St. Andrews. Has she pursued a career in the History of Art, btw, or was university just a chance to get her HRH?

It's mostly correct.

Spoilered for length and not everyone is interested in the UK's university system:

You apply via UCAS to up to six universities, who will make you an offer or reject you, based on a number of factors. The offers depend on projected grades, hence are usually conditional. You have to be exceptional to receive an unconditional offer. It's far more usual that a uni makes an offer you cannot possibly mess up, if they really want you.

You pick two universities. Then, depending on the kind of offer you have, once your grades are in, you either choose or the choice is made by your grades. If you don't make the grade, universities may still give you the place, at their discretion. If not, you can enter a process called "Clearing".

Clearing means that unis advertise open places on courses. It's up to you to call an admissions office at the uni and it's first come, first serve. To my knowledge that's the only way you can deviate from your previously chosen universities.

Changing universities is possible, but it isn't willy-nilly. I personally know of one student who did, which was mainly possible because he moved from the UK to the US.

As for deferring for a year, well, that's utterly possible. What you can't do is defer your place and then switch universities altogether, unless you go through the Clearing.

So, Kate will most likely have had offers from St Andrews and Edinburgh. For one reason or another, she picked St Andrews'. Or maybe didn't make the offer from Edinburgh. Or maybe she visited both universities during open days and just decided that she liked St Andrews' better.

Based solely upon her publicly observable persona, I can easily see how she might have preferred St Andrews'. It's a nice, quaint little town. And the university mainly focusses on teaching. It's a very respectable university, but in terms of competetive academia, Edinburgh uni is better. So, the choice depends on what you're after.

And if Kate was after William, then clearly St Andrews' was the better choice for that. Since we aren't personally acquainted, I have no idea which scenario is the right one. Who knows? But more importantly: Does it matter?

I don't have the slightest about why Kate picked which university. But I reckon William must be perfectly aware of all the humiliating things that have been written about Kate and her clinginess and pathetic ambition and lack of class and whatnot during all those years, and yet he chose to marry her. There must have been other students in St.Andrews, and other women in other places,  that he could have dated, and this was not a Regency romance in which a woman could trap a man in a marriage.  So that leads me to think that either

A.) he was wise enough to know the truth was better than the slander and could disregard the malignant chaff because he liked her

or

b) he's a lame idiot who chose to disregard the warnings and decided to marry some pitiful social climber for Reasons. 

Either way, they deserved each other.

BIB That’s it. Kate (and her mother- why is her father never mentioned….? I think we all know why) could have schemed all she wanted. She never had the power to „trap“. That’s not really a thing anymore. A baby might have worked but that was obviously not the case and it wouldn’t have been a guarantee either. William proposed out of free will. So whatever their deal is, it seems to be working for them. As long as they are fine with it, all is well if you ask me. 
In the end, there is so much gossip but we have no real idea. A lot reads conspiracy theory level crazy, some things seem reasonable, but there are no trustworthy accounts about any of it. Who knows, They could both be gay or asexual and the children could have been conceived however. They could be in a very calculated partnership without passion or romantic love. They could be miserable or extremely happy. It’s hard to get a read on them and they do all they can to leave it like that.

She COULD wait around for him, though. She could do nothing at all but wait for him and hope.

Absolutely! That's why it's pretty strange she turned down a definite place at Edinburgh. She had friends going there and it was the exact program she wanted. Pretty strange.

William is scheduled to attend the women‘s EURO 2022 final on Sunday where England and Germany compete. Kate might attend depending on the timetable as she attends another sports event that day.

I was going to watch the match anyway but now I‘m really hoping to see Charlotte. She plays football and had William tell the Lionesses that she‘s good in goal when he visited the team.

Wow, is someone actually claiming that Kate has no class because she's shown her butt a few times, by comparing her to the queen? I have a hint as to why that might be - there weren't cameras in every person's pocket in the 1940s. I am pretty sure Elizabeth and Margaret got up to some shenanigans from time to time that might have been equally scandalous at the time. Because to me seeing someone's butt just isn't that scandalous. It barely counts as nudity, even. I'm pretty sure I've seen photos of Diana's butt hanging out before even. Paparazzi are the ones with no class, IMO.

Basically the rumor is that William has been having extramarital affairs with Kate's OK because he's into pegging which she is not willing to participate in. Allegedly.

Yeah I'm sure it's all just nonsense but I was surprised it popped up on my twitter since there's no reason for it to. I figured I'd check here since somebody was likely to know something!

Well, we can‘t know for sure. Some say where there is smoke there must be fire but then again, Jennifer Aniston would have about 30 kids by now if all rumours were true. Personally, I doubt Kate‘s sister would have named her daughter Rose if there was anything to it.
