Miss Raquel: Saving the "Natives" One Latte at a Time

This sounds familiar from an earlier posting. She has to hide her relationship so  he might have another girlfriend. She is special because she vandalized public spaces, and the sky is special because it's seen her with her boyfriend.

We paint the town with our feelings and let the street lights Morse code the words our hearts beat out.
Graffiti will be the secret tongue to our secret love, and we’ll leave messages on trains and outhouse walls.
The trees in the park will sign our language with their waving arms and the river’s tide will lap at our scribbles on the sand.
Maybe someday we won’t have to hide our obsession for each other.
Maybe someday the sky will boast that it has seen us all along.

Stand with me at the hilltop
Watch the trees wave goodbye to their leaves
And stand nude as autumn wraps its colors around nature
The wind whispers “change is ever present”
Rustling my hair and sending a shiver down my spine
Even as the sun kisses my face —
For not every season is full of just one feeling.

if the street lights are "Morse cod[ing]" then someone should notify the Dept of Public Works about changing the flickering bulbs.

How to properly construct a sentence is apparently one of those things Raquel's mother didn't think she needed to learn.

As a newbie to Raquel and her poetry - and if only I could have been experiencing this for years - does she know she's copying everything under the sun or does she just take a ton of peyote and vomit out a book? What the hell is with her?

Years ago she had one of those things where people could ask her anything and she got comments about how much she plagiarized and examples of her plagiarism. I don't remember her replies or if she even did reply, but she knows, she just doesn't seem to believe that passing off the writings of others as her own is stealing. On her blog years ago, there was a poem that part of it was a word for word copy of a country music song and she ended up editing it later, so someone she listens to must have explained to her she what she did.  I do wonder if one of the reasons we never heard anymore about that writing class she took is because she got in trouble for plagiarizing.

I blame her parents, in part, for giving her such a terrible education and making her believe she is actually better educated than everyone else. But she is an adult now and it is on her if she refuses to learn, grow and mature as a person.

Raquel is basically a very spoiled person who is convinced she is the most special one on the entire planet. She wants writing to be easy and it isn't, so she just steals the ideas of others and pretends they are her own. She seems to view everyone else in the world as someone to be used and exploited. A horse she neglects, a dog she kicks, a vulnerable teen boy she preys on, "natives" she wants to use in her selfie pictures,  so it makes sense that she just takes what she wants when it comes to writing.

I think some of her writing might be the result of reading something or hearing a line in a song, and convincing herself later that it's a deep and unique thought that her wild and unapologetically raw creative mind personally came up with and she needs to share her wisdom with the world.

But there have been enough examples of verbatim, or very nearly verbatim copying that  I don't believe it could happen  accidentally.  She has been called out on it before, and she's still doing it, so I have to believe she knows and just doesn't care. She read it, so she owns it.

In one of the archived threads she wrote a story in which she lifted dialogue straight from Everwood.

Or that time she tried to pass off the writings of Maya Angelou as her own.

My next question is, does she realize that this guy may not even see her as girlfriend material (if he's real)?

I can see her living in her very vivid imagination and not so much reality.

A rare instance in which she cited her inspiration

I guess the Bible is out of copyright by now so that's okay.

Here she is acknowledging that she repeats cliches but her excuse is that the cliches she repeats are exactly what you need to hear the most.

Here we see an excerpt from a story of hers...  https://www.freejinger.org/topic/19333-new-raquel-stuff/?do=findComment&comment=717672

but it was okay because she's sure that MILLIONS of people have plagiarized this same sentence and because when people point out her plagiarism it doesn't count.

Guys, Raquel doesn't steal, she just makes things her own.

Stupid teens write stupid stuff but now that she's an adult and calls herself an author it's worse I think. I'm sure she would pitch a fit if she found somebody else posted her work as their own.

A post regurgitating a bunch of gender stereotypes includes an unattributed quote from a movie, I don't know which one: https://www.freejinger.org/topic/24099-raquel-loves-gender-stereotypes/

She wrote a poem https://www.freejinger.org/topic/16161-sentences-with-miss-raquel/?do=findComment&comment=595607

and confirmed that she wrote it herself

I probably didn't invent that, but at least I didn't actually look it up on pinterest.

What is wrong with her is she is an arrested case of development. She is Peter Pan the girl. Sadly, she is destined to be  stuck at age 14 all her days. As she ages, this will get more pathetic.

More on Raquel's Adventures In Copycat Land

Here we have Raquel admitting  that she knows perfectly well that stealing others' work and publishing it as your own is wrong. This is way back in 2010, folks. So young and immature as she might have been, she was definitely old enough to  know better. https://web.archive.org/web/20101020232606/http://god-sdaughter.blogspot.com/2010/06/lifes-choices-cha pter-5.html

But it is important to understand that she will never apologize for plagiarizing, because  every experience, person, circumstance, place, smell, feel, taste, conversation, song, TV dialogue, poem, and Pinterest quote is held as fodder for her inspiration and some day she will be forced to rewrite it.

Quote

The thing about being a writer is that every experience in life affects you and your writer's heart.  You keep everything locked up inside until a time when you feel you need to, you must write about it.
Every person, circumstance, place, smell, feel, taste, conversation, song... Everything is held in your thought case, your memory jar.  And someday, you'll go back and sift through them all.  And you will write.  Some will be difficult to pen, others will come easily and freely because you need closure, you need to let your voice be heard, you need to get a message across.

Don't ever apologize for your words.  Think before you speak, ponder before you write.  But when you finally do, never say 'sorry'.  Because why are you apologizing for something your heart wants to say?

http://www.itsjustraquel.com/2015/

As a writer, she must repost that song lyric as hers because it's what her heart wants to say, and because her words are God's way of blessing others:

Looking at the volume of stuff she is plagiarized really shows how little creativity she has. Raquel paints herself as a super special creative artist, but her entire writing life has been one plagiarism after another.

Raquel's wrote this on her Facebook page16 hours ago:

Quote

one of the biggest slaps in the face to a writer is copying their work and not giving them credit for it. (it's also called plagiarism and it's illegal).

their art isn't free. if they share it, it's because they want to touch others.

if you love what they write and want to support them, then put quotes around their writing when you post it, AND tag them/give them author credit.

it's that freaking simple.

Having read the way she treats guys in her life, it is really no wonder her relationships tend to be short. She expects to treat others like crap while they must make their entire life revolve around her.

Each time a relationship ends she is absolutely mystified that her behaviour had anything to do with it. The fault is always on his inability to put up with her crap and treat her as an exalted queen. I wonder if she will ever understand why all of romantic relationships end.
