I'm kind of with you, i don't see Boob in Jessa's kids but I do see him in Izzy. Mr. S.E. Adorable looks so much like Jessa, and I have a feeling he will be her kind of ornery too, and that will be sweet revenge as I do think to a degree we all deserve a child who acts just like we did.  Henry is just a generic looking baby right now, he doesn't really look like anyone that I can tell, yet. I'm sure it is just a matter of time. Duggar genes seem to be very strong in these girls.

The congregants were not opposed . Regular folks found the link, and caused an uproar to shut it down. Last night people were all over the page. Calling Jessa out on her not modest pregnancy attire. Her vain selfies. And how she addressed the molesting scandal on TV. It was an interesting circus. The heat was too much and they shut down both advertisements.

Oh ok. Thanks for clarifying.

I think a lot of babies kind of look like Jim Bob Duggar, whether they're related to him or not, haha.

This whole modesty event is driving me nuts.  Jessa is pure and simple about the brand.  She is promoting what she thinks works for her.   Who will listen to her - a bunch of  10 year olds.

Her issues with her family are off topic because she will defend them forever because she will never leave the cult.

The people who are trying to stop her are doing it the wrong way.  Show up and question her see how she reacts. Guarantee these people will be escorted away.

I mostly do too. It's funny though, my friend once told me that her baby looked exactly like her grandmother, and I thought, "Please. How much can a baby really look like her great-grandmother?" Later I met Nana and I'll be damned if the baby wasn't her clone. I couldn't believe it.

I was babysitting once. Two girls, aged maybe 6 and 8 at the time. I saw a photo on the wall and went to look at it. I could have sworn black and blue that it was the youngest dressed up in olden day clothes. I asked her whether they'd been to one of those olden days dress up places where they take old style photos. She's like "what do you mean, that's nanna!". Spitting image.

Dear Ben,

Doting dad is a much better look on you than wannabe rapper / preacher man. Take a cue from your wife and post more things like this. (Also move away from the cult and those dangerous beliefs )

...and lose the backwards caps.

Spurgeon is right above Spurgeon's head lol. Yeah, Ben should definitely post more stuff like this. He also seems happy, so that's a good thing. As happy as one can be in a cult. I seem to be saying it a lot but, ignorance is bliss, I guess. (Not realllly)

That bookcase full of Ben's theology books is probably more books than Jessa ever had  access to in the TTH

I actually think Henry looks like Ben a bit.

My niece went through different stages of looking like different people in our family. There is a photo of her as a newborn where she looks just like my mom- which is interesting because my sister looks nothing like our mom. There were times when she looked like my brother inlaw (her dad). Then as she got a little bigger I thought she looked a little like me as a baby. Now she is 1.5 and is my sister's little clone.

The only Duggar babies that don't look Duggary are the M kids. They all look like mixtures of Joshley and Anna. Both Jill and Jessa's kids look like Jim Bob to me at certain angles and it's awful. lol

In 7th grade I did a book report on The Exorcist and got an F. When my mom spoke to my teacher about it, she was told the book was "unsuitable" for someone my age. My mom laughed and said I had passed the 7th grade books back in the 3rd or 4th grade and had been reading "adult" books for several years. I still got an F and my teacher had to approve my reading material for book reports there after.

My boyfriend has a similarly awful story. When he was in 7th grade, his literature teacher failed him on a book report on the novel 1984 because the year 1984 had already passed, and therefore the book was irrelevant, apparently. Boyfriend is a language teacher now, and you bet this story gets told and this teacher's methods get torn apart All. The. Time.

(Apologies if we're no longer drifting in this direction... this thread is challenging for me to keep up with right now!)

I got in trouble for a lot of stupid things in school. In grade 5 I got in trouble for mentioning that I'd watched The Shining over the weekend. That's all. No details. Just said the words, The Shining. A year earlier I got yelled at and forcibly pulled down the hall by the arm by my teacher for not reminding her that I had a dentist appointment that I didn't actually have. In grade 1, I got in trouble for colouring a tree red. There was a long period in grade 5 when I was harassed by one particular girl and her parents, who for some reason decided to target me, fabricate complete lies about my actions, and accuse me of racism and bullying. One day the mother cornered me up against a wall in the hallway and screamed at me for several minutes. It was the end of the day, right outside the principal's office, there were teachers and parents everywhere, and no one did a thing. None of their accusations were remotely true, and to this day I have absolutely no reason why they targeted me and why it took the teachers months to put a stop to it. A teacher once yelled at me and humiliated me in front of the entire class when I couldn't come up with a solution to a math problem on the blackboard quickly enough, saying, "I can't believe you just won the student of the week award for understanding!" I think I might have literally thought, "Well fuck you" at that point.

Hmmm... I don't miss school.

Ugh, middle school. I got in trouble all the time for things I 1. didn't do, or 2. shouldn't have been a punishable offense. In sixth grade, I was given detention (twice) because I didn't get my tests signed by my parent. I can kind of understand this if I had failed them, but I got As both times. I was an As and Bs goody-two-shoes student and I cried. This was the same teacher that was always saying I didn't turn my homework in... when it was sitting in the homework inbox on his desk. My mother and I went back to the school a few times a week for a full year (in tears, usually. I'm a crybaby, I know) to set things straight. That was a pretty stressful year for an anxious eleven-year-old.

Still better than SOTDRT, though.

My sixth grade band teacher was the worst to me right from the beginning. I only decided to take band and play the clarinet bc my mother did it all through school and I thought it was cool. Yes we were told not to mess with our instruments when we first picked them the day before school, but my mom was really excited and she showed me how to put it together and where to put my fingers, how the reed went on, and how to play. We had a really fun evening messing around with it. First day of school, I proudly take out the clarinet when its time and put it together. Band teacher freaked out and yelled at me that I wasn't supposed to do that and now I had a teeny tiny crack in the reed. A few weeks later I giggled when she was mimicking with her mouth what the percussion guys were supposed to do. I was 11 and it was funny. She snapped her head in my direction and yelled at me because it wasn't funny and how would I like it if everyone laughed at my playing. Lady, I was laughing at you and your noises not my classmates. She called me out on the fact that my mom didn't make the treat I had bought for something and that the treat was store bought. I forgot one time that I didn't tell my parents I had to stay after for band practice. When the band teacher was letting other forgetful students use her office phone to call I asked if I could. I got a no and a lecture on remembering stuff. Thought 'f this' and went home on the bus afterschool and told my parents. Next day it was a field day at school, I was sitting with my friends and saw the band teacher come outside and straight towards me. My mom had called and fussed at her apparently so I got fussed at and called a liar because she totally did tell me I could use the phone. After that I couldn't care less about band and did not sign up for it next year. Hated that woman so much.

It's amazing how some teachers will single out a student for abuse. I've been on the receiving end a few times.

Jessa (and family), Jana, Jinger, Sierra, and friends went to Magnolia in Waco (Fixer Upper from HGTV). More pics on her instagram (it was an album).

There are pants. Seemingly no obvious bump.  Let's not all freak out for pages now, friends.

There's a different pic from the same trip on the general Duggars thread.

For some reason I thought they looked like jeans in the other picture, but now I'm pretty sure she's wearing the same pair of pants in both pics.

Either way, it's only a tiny superficial change. Show me her prescription for birth control and I might get excited.

I had some awful teachers, but tbh I feel lucky after reading these experiences. I had three teachers who I begrudge, in 3rd, 10th, and 12 grades. Otherwise, mine were great despite teaching at a public school in rural Ohio. I'd like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the 2nd grade teacher who gave me a love of writing, the 4th grade teacher who first got me excited about space, and the 10th grade male teacher who introduced me to feminism
