Oh I’m sure he will get a tattoo. Which will open the door for some of the other boys to get them as well. But they will be in areas easy to hide like upper arms, backs, or chests.

So he had a fake sleeve tattoo for the rehearsal and then this smaller tattoo showed up in Alyssa’s stories. So the fake sleeve might have been the shock before the real tattoo. And yeah, I feel like the others will put them in concealable spots if they get them.

Warden and Ellie both have rebel vibes and are also exceptionally close to each other. Ellie was rocking a bridesmaid gown with a big slit.

He is the very easilt forgettable one. He is quiet adn shy. No social media presence. No signs of rebellion. He is child #14.

Is Josiah the only married Duggar male who is still looking after himself?

He looks the best of all of the married Duggars!

I don’t think Jer is looking bad. I mean I don’t find any of the: attractive, but I think Jer looks the same as he always did¿

I just looked at IG, Lily was wearing that hideous bow. She was in a purple dress so I just assumed she wouldn't have a horrific beige bow on. That's my bad.

Based on watching all of the Duggar episodes, I've concluded that somewhere in IBLP they teach that a bare-headed baby girl is an offense to God. There must be something on her head to clearly indicate not-a-boy, or else Jebus will cry (or something like that).

I remember Ellie on BUB as being slightly more fashion-forward than the sisters in her age group.  One time she was rocking a faux-leather black motorcycle jacket with a t-shirt and denim skirt.  She was about 9-10.  So I am not surprised at all.

I recently learned that Marjorie Jackson is now working for a Member of the House of Representatives (she previously worked for the Family Research Council). I often wonder what her life would be like now if she had married Josiah at age 18.

I mean, he's a horrible person with horrible beliefs, but there's still a layer of impressiveness that Marjorie has a real job working for someone who isn't related to her.

And she has a college degree from a real accredited college, and has ZERO children. Think how many kids she might have now if she had married Josiah--very likely 3 or more.

Oh, and based on some Instagram comments, I believe this is her boyfriend (or at least was her boyfriend in December)--they went to college together.

I'm feeling a bit mean today-- I hope Josh Duggar knows of Marjorie's success on Capitol Hill and it eats him up inside!

That's not mean.  That's Karma.  And it would take a LOT to eat up that lard-ass.

I mean she & her group still have horrible beliefs, but there is a little bit of righteousness there.

Honestly, I think Josh knew from the get-go that a career for him in DC was a farce. He was in so far over his head. He knew he did not have what it takes to be a big wig lobbyist in the nation’s Capitol and that his skill level didn’t really rise above that of a used car dealer in Arkansas. He was far more at home in that little shanty on the car lot than some DC office.

Agreed. And that is on his parents and the cruddy job they did of home schooling combined with no post secondary education. I’m surprised that they didn’t ship him off to a right wing college to take Christian Poli Sci. Jed is going to also plateau politically with no education behind him. All of kids have been cheated by their parents.

Marjorie’s sister is married to a guy who is in med school and they have no kids after years of marriage. This family doesn’t seem fundie enough for JB.

I don't think I can ever say it enough.  Marjorie Jackson dodged a huge bullet.  In some bizarre way, Josh's downfall was the best thing that could have ever happened to influence her life.

I don't know about that. I'd say he knew he was a farce but had the arrogance to wholeheartedly believe he'd joined an elite group of Untouchables and he'd never be caught.

I never got the impression Josh wanted to be a big star. I think his parents wanted that for him, so his foray in DC was to appease them. In DC, he knew he was surrounded by people so much more savvy, street smart, intellectual, educated and experienced than he was who he couldn’t fool. He knew he was way out of his league. He wasn’t pulling the wool over anyone’s eyes.

Back in Arkansas, he was happy enough with a small fan base and being surrounded by people he knew he could dupe, because he’d been doing it his whole life. After all, he was getting away with living among his extended family watching csam in the shanty until the FBI—those outside his circle—nabbed him. I’m sure he specifically chose the “used car lot dealer” occupation knowing it could provide him with a cover for his illegal activity and his family would be none the wiser. A calculated move.

I don’t think it was to appease them. I think it was to get away from them. I bet they shit themselves when he moved away because they couldn’t keep the reigns tight. Then oops Ashley Maddison happened. Not to say that wouldn’t have eventually happened in Arkansas, but it was a hell of a lot easier in DC

Their ministry TV show depicted JB/M as not wanting Josh to take the job in DC, while it showed Anna's dad as encouraging Josh to take the job. I do believe the Duggars were reticent because they knew that Josh would not be adequately "supervised" by them and he could get himself into trouble. Josh maybe saw the move as an opportunity to test the waters in more sexual exploration, and criminal, ways.

Regardless of any of that, I think Josh is narcissistically arrogant enough to not realize he didn't know how to work in a job like the Family Research Council.

Since Josh was arrested for criminal activity in AR, how closely was JB monitoring Josh? I think JB’s unhealthy parenting style was (and is) a huge contributor to Josh’s developing his dubious proclivities.

Agree 100%. Josh has been told since the day he was born that he’s special, smart, blessed by God. He has never lacked for confidence and arrogance. I don’t think it occurred to him that he was in over his head. Anna, on the other hand, seemed well aware that they were out of their depth.
