Has this one already been posted?  "Hero returning from war???"  She has got to be f**king kidding.  I have this sudden urge to slap the crap out of her.

not only does this make my blood boil - but to actually for a reporter to minimize what has happened just makes it all the worse and turn it around to that degree is disheartening and wrong and insufferable

Anna Duggar is more culpable than anyone else for agreeing to be on this stupid show --regardless of the cult - she is turning into those 50's housewives who stood by while children were smacked and bringing back women to that degree.

she will never take accountability about how big of a scumbag her husband is and for reacting the way she is

If the letter he wrote for his funeral is any indication, no, he wasn't.

Quote

If you trust in Jesus, or if you trust Him yet, I look forward to your being here with me and with Him.  I bid you not goodbye but farewell until we’re together.  And until that wonderful day, I remain your loving husband, dad, granddad, friend, and, in truth, a sinner completely saved by God’s matchless grace.

That was from "Duggars Say Goodbye". Jim Bob is very careful to say that it was more that his dad "didn't have a spiritual focus", a.k.a. he was concerned that JB and Michelle were having too many kids and that it was going to kill her, and JB and Michelle got pissy about that.

I don't know if Boob's father was an atheist, but I don't think so. He simply had some common sense and realized how fucked up his son's cult lifestyle is. He also said on camera that he didn't think having so many kids was a good idea, or something like that, I can't remember how he phrased it exactly, but the message was clear: Stop the incessant breeding!

I think Jimmy Lee was probably your average slightly conservative Southern Christian guy who thought that having as many babies as possible without regard to health or finances was nuts. That alone would be enough for JB to consider his father an "atheist" since he dared challenge the almighty Quiverfull Gospel.

Wonder if Jimmy Lee had anything to say to Jim Bob regarding his molesting son, or the questionable wisdom of filming a TV special afterwards.

If this is true, going on a public speaking tour is a perfect time to cheat on your wife.  My guess is that Anna would try to accompany him but with 4 kids it likely won't last very long.

Whenever the idea of Josh going on a speaking tour comes up, I think of a YouTube clip from a few years ago of Josh and Anna speaking at a church.  Josh was not the most charismatic speaker, to put it mildly.  Then when it was Anna's turn to speak, he spent the entire time playing on his phone while standing next to Anna.

Well, you know what the wimmins say is not very important. Wonder if he was looking at porn on his phone. Flip phone of shame for you now, Joshy.

He'd probably use it like an onanistic glove. Gross.

I doubt that Josh could make a comeback as some kind of reformed sinner. If he was only cheating, then yes. But I think the molestation and the cheating combined is a little too much, even for his target audience. There might be some delusional IBLP/ATI members who would attend his events, but they are not enough to make a full-time living, he would also need the fundie-lite crowd, and I don't think they would spend any money on somelike like Joshley.

I need to find this. Sounds utterly ridiculous!

It looks like the video was taken down, but we discussed it in this thread:

They were speaking about dating and purity?  No wonder that video was removed!  Nobody wants to hear Josh Duggar speak about purity. :my_biggrin:

I think the only computer Joshley will get anytime soon is one without an internet access. The wlan password will be the most treasured secret in the Duggar household. How long until Joshley will try to convince his neighbors to let him secretly log into their wlan? :2wankers:

Silly, the password to the computer is

Je$u$Fir$t

The Wifi Password is:

GetBackSatan!

So, about as atheist as Geoff Botkin's father was a Marxist.

I think Josh is going to come back and everyone, from JB to Josie, are going to act as if nothing happened at all. Anna is going to gaze adoringly at him and JB is going to slap him on the back and treat him as the golden boy. The girls will all be ordered to keep sweet and act like nothing has ever happened. He will not show up on the girls show, nor will he have his own special or show. They will move on and expect their adoring public to do the same. Kinda like the police at a crime scene "Move on, there is nothing to see here". And in response to all of the "head in the sand" behavior by everyone, Josh will somehow, somewhere disgrace his family (very publicly again)

Jim Bob's father was not an atheist and was a member of a Baptist church all of his life.

Jim Bob was always angry at his father because he sometimes had financial difficulties (not a good reason to be angry, in my opinion).  Still, his father paid for an expensive, Christian private school for Jim Bob, which is way better than the education Jim Bob provided for his kids. Tuition in that high school is $8,640 per year. http://www.shilohsaints.org/admissions/tuition/standard-rate/

It was Jim Bob's father who taught him the real estate business and the used car business.  http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=33774692

Yet, Jim Bob allowed his daughters to bad mouth their grandfather in their Growing Up Duggar book.

Jim Bob only cares about the commandment "Honor thy father" when he's the father being honored by his children.

I remember exactly what JB's father said in an early appearance on the show.  He said that his two kids were all he "could say grace over."  God knows what JB took that to mean.

Jim Bob's father didn't like the fact that JB was having more kids than he and Michelle could possibly parent and stuffing them all in two small bedrooms.  I agree with Jim Bob's father, so I guess that makes me a pagan, too.

I know nothing about strip clubs, but I know of a whore house (or what they like to call it, gentelmen's club) here that opens at 10 am or 12 am.

I've been to a strip club that serves breakfast until 11am. And shockingly good steak after that. :-)

And they are asking for a lot from a wife: full submission, baby machine, homeschool all the kids, assuming they survive all the pregnancies and childbirth, all the cooking, cleaning and domestics.

What happens if a fundie wife with lots of young kids dies?

Obviously, if there's an older girl she gets to 'take over' - but what if there's no teen girl? Does Dad step up?

Dad remarries, probably to someone younger, and fathers more kids.  I know that is what Jim Bob would do!

Well, there is a fundie family I stumbled upon on FB ( cannot think of their name). His wife died along with their 7th/8th child in childbirth. Less than SEVEN months later, he has married a widow with I think 4 kids. So that's what happens, the poor kids are left grieving and adjusting to a new parent and siblings.
