The Jeubs, like the Arndts, are their own peculiar brand of fundie. I find Chris Jeub to be an utter douchecanoe, but at least his daughters don't have the educational restrictions on them like many other families have. Hell, Cynthia is even attending a REAL university, not an unaccredited bible school.

I don't see many of the Jeub kids towing the party line. The eldest two daughters have broken away and made a path for the younger ones. Combine that with a less sheltered existence I think Jeublings will make it OK outside of fundie land.

I noticed they didn't put their Christmas letter out there publicly this yr either.But I can't say I blame them since they got criticized for it.I enjoyed reading it,and I didn't judge why they didn't include their oldest dd.Maybe she didn't want to be in it,who knows.It's hard to say without knowing more.

I don't think Chris and Wendy want to explain to the world why their second oldest daughter is a head covering Muslim gal. Or that their eldest daughter still has barely anything do with them. It wouldn't help sell their brand of fundie very well.

I wouldn't say that muslims in general are stricter than (christian) fundies. it is the fundamentalism that makes the people go crazy.
