I don't understand posting any naked baby pictures on the internet. When uploading right after my son was born I realized that I accidently included a naked picture. I took it down immeditally. One of my friends on facebook will put up bathtub pictures and whatnot of her daughter fairly frequently (she puts up a lot of pictures in general so it's not just those going up) and I just feel bad for the little girl who didn't ask to have her naked behind online.

Same here. I mean, I wouldn't take a picture of my naked hypothetical teenage or adult child and post it online without their consent, so why would I do it with a baby?

I had expected from reading a thread that it was a close-up. So when I saw it I didn't think it was that bad. But I think you could zoom in. I was mostly struck by what a terrible photo it was. Like somebody said, you couldn't see anybody's face! And who cares they changed the baby in the car, don't people do that all the time? Her blog is rather boring. Almost all the photos are unnecessary and very poorly-done.

I feel bad for the baby, there is another photo down the page where they stick her leg in a stuffed lion's mouth to pretend she's being eaten, which I might think is funny except the baby looks pretty uncomfortable. Her head looks sort of funny. Also, the baby party photos with the baby masks was incredibly creepy. I don't think baby naked photos are that bad, I would be a little annoyed if there was one of me, but not embarrassed or anxious like I would be if there was one of me now that was recognisable. I think it's good practice to avoid such photos but I don't think it's that bad when it's a baby.

That's a lil... weird. I do have naked pictures of my daughter. Heck, I have one of her in a diaper and that's it in the livingroom! (She is posed with angel wings... looking back I would've put a cute diaper cover over the ugly dipe, but whatever!)

My SIL has a pic of her lil boy playing in the mud in just some cowboy boots. It just shows his behind and it's so stinkin CUTE! But... she's not posting it online. It's a PERSONAL picture. That's the key word. Naked babies are cute. Period. But not close up shots... that's just... strange.

ETA: Just looked up "nienie" as suggested and saw the post. Holy crap. What in the world... what in the damned WORLD makes ANYONE think it's a good idea to have a picture of a little girl's lady parts like that? What in the freaking world? That honestly disgusts me.

Read down and she was on Glenn Beck's show, and he was holding the baby and he said she was "making play dough" (pooping). That is SO GROSS. I do not want to think of play dough in that manner, even though baby poop doesn't faze me.

Yeah, joining the chorus here. Naked baby pictures usually get an "awww" from me. But said photos usually focus on the baby's face, at least show the face, are at least cute. Something is off. Maybe she thought it would be cute and it is just a gigantic fail.

What I find disturbing about this photo is that it doesn't really show anything...except the baby's exposed privates. Who the hell cares about the adult woman's backside or the open hatch of a vehicle? And who the hell cares that a baby's diaper was changed in such an inconvenient but rather ordinary manner?!
