Well ... I've been accused of going overboard because I think youth should live lives that are pure and holy and pleasing to the Lord. On some forum I've been accused of all sorts of things ... I'm less concerned about Joanne homeschooling her children, than the fact that she has a blog. Her homeschooling ensures that she will derail the critical thinking capacity of her children. Her blog, on the other hand, is a means with which to indoctrinate others and affirm a slew of untruths/half-truths which may affect hundreds (if not more) of like-minded or misguided persons.

All these blogs are the same. They are all written by unstable women with a moderate education within their own forum who are desperate for a higher purpose. It's not enough for them to just be Christian or religious, they have to be AWESOME at it, and they have to prove how awesome they are.

Problem is, they suck at life.

Seriously, they suck at it. Many of them sucked at it before their conversion...which is why they converted. Now they suck at it just as much, but they've found a group of people who are willing to tell them that they don't suck. And that they are anointed and super kitteny special. And now they fight for God's true army.

Thing is, Christianity is a heck of a lot nicer now than it was a few centuries ago. Pre-Enlightenment era, single mothers didn't get a chance to convert. They got hanged, burnt alive, stoned, or publicly disgraced. No one married them, they were shamed. If their family chose to harbor them, then the family was also shamed.

This is why it's so doubly embarrassing when these women write a blog finger-wagging at others who make similar "mistakes" or poor life choices. Theoretically, by the decree of her own church history, she shouldn't be alive or in any place to deliver those epic "SHAME ON YOUS!"
