When you compare his speech patterns with those of April last year, the difference is striking. He’s still just as arrogant and stupid, but less than a year ago he was more or less coherent. I don't think his followers really listen to him. There's no need. They know he will push the racist christian agenda he's purported to support (as far as they know/care, they don't seem to know/care that what he's really doing is supporting the rich people like himself).  They have no fear that he will change tactics and they're satisfied (for whatever reason) with what they've received so far.

Feels like the latter to me … but the GQP would of course never try to revoke his candidacy nor - if heaven forfend he ended up elected in this state - invoke the 25th amendment to have him removed. Cause liburrrty and shit.

To be honest, I kind of hope he is the nominee. With his current state, his chances if winning are getting incrementally smaller by the day. Because otherwise Pick Nikki (gawdawful slogan) will be the candidate against Buden and no matter her terrible agenda, she's got more of a chance to win over independents and undecideds.
