There are more creative Strava users than me

I thought naming the segment past the sewage treatment plant "Sewer Gas?  DON'T DROP THAT" was creative but it doesn't hold a candle to "Uncle Pervy’s Secret Tickle Fight"

Not quite ass crack of dawn since it was raining out early this morning.

Kind of foggy out this morning so no ass cracks of dawn were actually observed today.

I’m probably not going to be sunrise rides much longer during the week since it’s becoming difficult to do those and get to work when I want. Pretty soon those will have to wait until next spring.

What I’m thinking of doing is going in earlier to work and leaving earlier and doing the long rides right after work.

I’m not an overly dedicated type and if the weather’s too nasty I’ll skip the ride.

Wasn’t me!!!!

Cedar Rapids police said they've received three calls about a man riding a bike naked near Cedar Lake since the beginning of September.

Just before 6:10 a.m. Thursday, police said they got a report of a naked man on a bike on the trail near Cedar Lake. Officers could not find the individual.

Police said they've also gotten reports from Sept. 3 and Sept. 12.

And this morning it was nice enough to go out.

Managed to get a ride in this morning before it started raining!

Rain held off until I got home.  About 20 minutes after I got home it started pouring out.  I got a good nap in after I got home.  Supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow so I don't think there will be any riding tomorrow.  Oh well, still got the fitness places. 

Next week is supposed to be nice so there might be some butt crack rides then.

I've appreciated all your videos.  They helped me through a stressful time period, which is now easing.  I'm going to treat myself to some traveling, and hope to get back to exercising, which has dropped by the wayside as we were dealing with my mother-in-law.  Thanks, again!  ?

My town has had not one but two Thong Guys: Thong Guy North and Thong Guy South.  Yes, two entirely different guys who ride wearing only an ultra-minimal (!) thong.  Haven't heard of any sightings this summer though.

Yeah I thought about that this morning. It was just in the 50s so it was a bit too cool to be riding in a thong. Not that I would do that in any event.

And since the weather was beautiful this morning that meant time for a Butt Crack O’Dawn video!

Yes it was - I noticed the door was open and closed it but then reopened it when I realized how much moisture was on the interior glass.  I thought it was probably left open on purpose to give it a chance to air out. 

Glad you liked the sunrise.  Makes the ass crack rides worth it.

At about the 1:55 mark, after you are away from the city area, I saw a light in the sky.  At first I thought it was an airplane, but it sticks around.  The moon?  The Death Star?  (Liked your music choice, as always.)

I think this might be my last weekday ass crack adventure for a while. The sun is coming up too late in the day now if I want to get to work in a timely fashion. Have to see how it is once DST ends.

Got a monster 60 mile ride in today going from Brandon, Iowa up to Waterloo, Iowa and back on the Cedar Valley Nature Trail.

It was so long both my GoPro batteries gave out so I don't have complete videos this time.

 But for once I have video of a big ass ride.

My FitBit says I have over 40,000 steps today.  And it goes without saying that I was a wee bit sore after the ride.  Gonna sleep good tonight.
