I swear preggo face had gone away in Chelsy and yet now it's back.

She and John are low-key on a breakneck pace, she mentioned that healing from Maddy's birth was a very different experience compared to her boys and that she felt like herself again rapidly. Won't be surprised if we get an announcement sometime around Christmas/New Year's.

*Low key because she isn't spoken about in the same way that Tori/Kendra/the Mortons are, and yet despite being "old" at almost 31, she's now got 3-under-3.

Dear God, I hope not. Even Tori and Kendra are waiting six months between pregnancies. Madeline is only what, three months?

If you adjust for her gestational age, she’s only a month old.

She weighed three pounds at birth, after Chelsy had given birth to two eight pounders. It's not like they're doing anything to prevent, and so... Seems highly possible.

Re: the baby's nails - 

Could it be that the baby's fingernails are a darker color from something like cyanosis? I've seen that in babies before and their nails look painted. Obviously I hope Maddy doesn't have any health conditions, and I also wouldn't put it past them to paint her nails, but that was just a thought I had!

Okay, now Allison has me curious about her super special hormone formula that only married ladies are allowed to know about. Is it an aphrodisiac? A stamina enhancement for the tired fundie male? Or God forbid, a contraceptive? So many questions...

Gotta be douching with oils, which... YMMV. I'm not opposed to using oils to treat fungal infections, and I am a big fan of ACV/tea tree/epsom salt baths for pH balancing, but I don't know that I'd trust Allison's recommendations.

It's 100% a libido enhancer, Lisa Pennington used to make similar concoctions with her YL oils.

Sad she feels like she needs to "fix" her postpartum hormones to please her husband. Low sex drive after a baby is totally normal! Maybe she needs to fix her beliefs on wifely duties instead.

I can tell you all a much better libido enhancer. A man who does his part as a father. He changes diapers, bathes kids, cleans up toy messes, does laundry, and just acts like a helpful partner in general.

Totally agree... I always think about Michelle Duggar saying that you should do it even if you are really tired. If your wife is too tired for sex the fix is to do more around the house so she is less tired!!

I have no idea if any of this is true, but if it is, her husband may also need to fix his beliefs. He may be behind her desire to play with YL oils. 

I can't say anything about the Helferichs and Allison's husband in particular. However, what we've seen from fundies is a belief that it's the wife's job to be joyfully available. I think both the young women and the young men hear this all the time. I would imagine a lot of young fundie men have warped ideas about sexuality, similar to Michael Pearl when he got married.

I just noticed the most recent Bontrager blog post has been inundated by spam, some of it for viagra, and it made me laugh! They obviously don't check the blog that often anymore, because there are like 40 spam comments.

I guess Joe is no longer touring with them. They replied to a come t that he isn’t anymore. I think it’s kind of crappy they didn’t make an announcement on the blog thanking him for traveling with them all those years and dealing with being thrown around in the pull along trailer during a tornado. No announcement no nothing. What great friends they must be 🙄

I wonder if there was a falling out. I always thought Joe might have been less extreme than the Bontragers (who isn't?). Maybe they had a not so amicable split? I wouldn't be surprised and I would love to know more. Run, Joe, run! And feel free to join Free Jinger!

Fundie splits seem to be so common. Fundie land is full of men who think they are always right and will never back down. Splits are inevitable. Even over the smallest issues. So I think it could be anything.

The weird thing is, they had that group before he was traveling with the Bons. Maybe he thought it was taking too much time. I personally would quit the Bontragers too. He had to stay in that windowless trailer and probably couldn’t focus on his own music.

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they move to NW AR. They seem to really love the Duggars.
