Bontragers/Bowers/Helferichs 10: Where In the World Is Allison Bon-Diego??

Things just get weirder in this circle….

Why did Allison  leave Minnesota? Is everyone pregnant? Why won’t they tell us everything we want to know? If they did we would not have to make up stuff. Don’t they see how much they would save us from the sin of gossip??

Seriously though, who leaves like this? All at once and as a group?

An observation from the Bontrager blog post: the cabin originally built for Carson and Lina, then occupied by Josh and Cass, is now the home of Denver and Praise.

Another observation sparked by that post: I was public records-ing to try to figure out where Josh/Cass and Carson/Lina were living now that they've been musical chairs-ed out of the newlywed cabin, and I stumbled upon the fact that the Bowers family put their enormous Alabama mansion up for sale two days ago. I wonder where they'll go next?

A move to Arkansas? They sure seemed to love the Duggars before Josh was arrested. They probably still do. They are such conspiracy theorists that they would help JB come up with a handy conspiracy blaming the government for Josh’s charges.

Maybe they'll move to the Helfrichs new compound. Any kids in the families that could be paired off?

Yes. Susanna H and Charlie B could pair off based on ages.

I don't know too much about individuals in either family, but snark gold is demanding at least one Bowers-Helferich marriage to complete this ridiculous circle.

It wouldn’t be surprising at all. The families seem to have a lot in common.

I was going to say the same thing! Two would obviously be the upper-most echelon of snark but one would work. It's just too bad the only unmarried Maxwells are females who will never marry, because throwing another Maxwell match into the mix would be the best of the best!

When that cabin was built, they stated that it was ultimately destined to be Marlin and Becky's retirement place. I guess whoever produces the most lil blessings will get the homestead. I guess that cabin is 2 bedrooms 1 bath? I guess they could move into it when they are down to just a couple of unmarried kids.

The Bowers allegedly moved to Alabama for Curtis's respiratory health. Which made no sense to me. But they seem incapable of staying in one state for more than a few years.

OK, about that cabin. Who has been in it? Josh & Cassidy, Carson & Carolina and now Denver & Praise?

Who decided/decides who lives in it in the first place? J & C and C & C were married on the same day, so it's not like there was any differentiating factor in them to determine. Where do they go when they move out? How do they make that decision? Does Marlin say "hey, this brother needs it more so we're gonna' find you an apartment somewhere and give this free house to said brother"? Do they vote? Do they have shares in an apartment building somewhere that they'll keep permanently rented with their godly married sons and their wives? Who gets tossed out of the house with a kid or two so a newlywed, childless couple can move in?

The Bonts are a constant and continual source of WTF for me.

I watched the beginning and the end of Curtis Bowers' latest weekly white Christian dominionist hootenany video: https://rumble.com/vlh2q7-afghanistan-and-the-takedown-of-america-curtis-bowers.html to see if he mentioned moving. No luck. Although he is absolutely a doomsday prepper: He said you should take your government stimulus or child tax credit checks and spend them on prepper supplies, and that if you live in a blue state, you should consider buying a RV or trailer and take the family camping on weekends, so you can be ready to flee (to the a red state paradise, I guess) the socialist hordes. Also he wants you to fast and pray with him every Friday morning, he's upset about the gold standard (color me shocked) and of course is worked up about vaccines and masks.

I firmly believe Curtis Bowers et fils have a big cache of weapons somewhere.

Does he say what people in swing states should do?

Alas no. Maybe you should prep a little, though, in case the latte-swilling, arugula-eating Soros zombies come for you, bearing free health care, vaccines and bike lanes.  You could consider buying the Bowers McMansion in Alabama, though.  You might want bring your own ICU bed with you, since I understand the state is fresh out of those.

I see a couple of the Bower boys, like underemployed unskilled fundy bros everywhere, have a landscaping business: https://www.instagram.com/bowersbrotherslandscape/

I also chuckled at this post from October 2020. Reading between the lines, I believe that the Bower boys posted this pic and tried to pass the landscaping/yard work as their own; the homeower and landscaper (politely) called them out on it, and they had to edit the original caption.  https://www.instagram.com/p/CGB7gmelb7R/

Abby Maxwell and the youngest Bontrager, maybe?

I think there are single Helferiches, but I don't know if they are young enough for Abbie... And frankly, I wish something better for her.

I suppose Mary and Anna would fit in Helferichland. The poor girls... Allison is wild and rebellious compared to them!!!

Can anyone explain to me what is up with the recent tax assessments of their McMansion? https://www.zillow.com/homes/655-County-Road-2210,-Troy,-AL-36079_rb/104526291_zpid/?

That house is so not my taste but the land is beautiful.

It's really dated. I doubt anything has been done to update it since it was built 30 years ago. I'm guessing; it looks very 90's with the tile counters & colors.

It's hella cheap though. That money will get you 1/5th the house and 1/34th the land in my neck of the woods. Something that size on that much land - no matter what kind of shape it's in - over a million here, by quite a bit.

Such beautiful grounds20210825_211353.thumb.jpg.5a5314224cb92069c37ce49fb2abb22c.jpg

If you read the description of the house it has a   WET BAR  and a MAN CAVE. What do you think Fundies  could get up to there?!

I think rural Alabama is pretty inexpensive.

At this point, you would have to pay me big bucks to live below the Mason Dixon line. (Though as my partner once helpfully pointed out, if you extended the Mason Dixon line through Colorado, we would qualify.)

I doubt anyone would ever get me to move to the south. This summer almost killed me with the heat. I can’t imagine living in the south in the summer. I would melt.

Nothing could convince me to live in the South. I actually aspire to go North, but that isn't so easy to do with immigration laws & all.

As loopy as Steve is, these families are probably a little too blue collar for his princesses. Having a son marry in is one thing- she becomes a MAXWELL! But I cannot see him letting one of the girls hook up with these weirdos, especially as the Bontragers have moved from Attractive Wholesome Singing Family to Crazed Bugged Eyed Trumpsters. Steve Maxwell is very white collar  middle class. He probably voted for Trump but was ashamed to do it - in fact, if he wasn’t, I am sure we would have heard exhortations to encourage acceptance of the Orange Bloat Monster - Steve was only too happy to endorse Huckabee and Cruz.

He be crazy but he is a little too Beaver Cleaver to sacrifice a daughter to anyone not like him.
