I’ve have phone anxiety even with friends I’ve known since high school (I’m 58). It can get really bad where I’ll have an anxiety attack making leaving a voicemail message with my therapist. Yea, I’m a hot mess sometimes.

Her Facebook about page says that her job is at Embassy Media and she started in 2015. She also says that she’s from Indianapolis, and her cover photo is a group photo of her family. She also specifies that she’s interested in men, in case anyone gets the wrong idea.

Laura is the oldest at 36. Sister 1 is 34 and has been married for over 6 years with 3 children. Sister 2 is 32 and has been married for about 7 years with 1 child and is a registered democrat. Brother is 30 and has been married 2 years with no children. He lives abroad.

I don't think Lauran's father is deceased. I think I located his name and he appears to have gotten married a couple years ago and is facebook friends with Sister 2, but is not in any shared photos that are publicly available. Most of the family also does not have public friends' lists.

Various DeMasie family members have some kind of mention of a church, but nothing obviously fundie or IBLP and nothing super loud.

I think perhaps so. In her 2013 post she was obviously leadership/staff but said it was her tenth year there - so that could be as a a participant when she was younger. We don’t know if her family was fundie, but they homeschooled all the way through, so, since 20 years ago homeschooling circles were pretty full o fundies, I’d say they at least knew fundie families, so maybe she was introduced to IBLP that way.

I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but this is one of the many reasons why I hope Jim Bob loses his election. We all know which way he would have voted. I find it extremely concerning that this bill passed the house. Luckily the senate struck it down but it was way too close.

No, you aren’t. I’ve gotten better as I’ve gotten older, but I will do anything to avoid picking up the phone to call a service provider (and I’ve had to call a lot of them recently). Even calling family members can be stressful. It did not make things easier to have family and friends tell me to “get over it” when I was younger.

I stress over making calls. I am probably one of the few people who is happy when I find a chat option on a website. I would much rather use a chat box than talk on the phone with someone that I don't know.

I met my husband 8 years ago. During these 8 years, we talked on the phone twice.

The Duggars have deprived their children of proper educations and life experiences that would give them any idea how to manage real life. But everyone of those children should get a job and learn! Many of us started working without college educations and managed to support ourselves. They should all have been paid while working for the tv show, but they weren't. There is no reason they can't work now. Most families have to figure out work schedules, childcare, budgets. They can too. Each of them seems to spend quite a lot of money on things many young families can't.  Travel, boutique, flea market shopping. All drive decent vehicles and live in decent homes. Get over it kids - get to work!

They need to stay the fuck away from Kentucky.  President Biden has already declared a state of emergency.  All available federal and state resources are being made available.  These assholes would just be in the way and make things worse.

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear says there's an 8 page single spaced list of people unaccounted for in western Kentucky.  There are no words to describe that.

ETA:  I don't live in Kentucky, but I have relatives and friends that do.  They say it's bad.  @sixcatattymy thoughts and prayers are with your state.

I am sure there is something not on the up and up. You know JBD thinks the rules do not apply to him.

Also, Anna’s LLC bought and sold a property. Did the LLC keep the proceeds? How many people are involved in that LLC?
