I am embarrassed to admit that this mess is occurring in the county that I live in. (Background: Butler County, OH, is as red as it gets, and when I go to vote, many races have R candidates who are unopposed. We sit on the outside ring of the Cincinnati metropolitan area. Cincinnati, within city limits, tends blue-purple).

I am also very familiar with the hospital in which the man is a patient. It is an ancillary hospital in the University complex. That University complex is state-of-the-art.

There is absolutely no way that the infectious disease and pulmonary specialists who would be caring for this man will give him an unapproved, non-standard-of-care, substance. That would first contradict the oath to do no harm, and would put the physicians' hospital privileges in jeopardy, and likely also jeopardize their licenses to practice medicine in the state.

I will be following this story. However, it may be unlikely that the University Hospital system will comment publicly due to patient privacy concerns.

Neo-Nazi White Supremacist Richard Spencer is reported to be a broken man. If true, it couldn't happen to a nicer guy more repellent human being!  He's broke, his organization (National Policy Institute) has dissolved, his wife has divorced him, he's lost at least one multi-million dollar civil suit and is a defendant in another civil suit related to Charlottesville, set to begin on October 25. 

 And worst of all, he can't get a table at a restaurant in Whitefish, Montana where he lives at least part time.  I read this in the New York Times. In New York I guess it's a very big deal when you're blacklisted and "can't get a table" at a (presumably) high-end restaurant.  Poor guy.  I guess the drive-up window at a fast-food place is beneath him. He does come from a wealthy family. When in Whitefish, he's living in his mom's 3-million dollar summer home.

not sure if this is where to share this comment. Just read that 53% of Iowans approve of Trump. On my way to work, I see three Trump banners and two anti Biden ones. I love my home state, I really do, but this is so sad.
