Mills Family 7: Oh, Look, Another Reason to Detest Tom

I don't think so much that Tom allowed her to do what she wanted becasue he was allowing her freedom to do what she wanted, he DID NOT want to do what she was doing so he didn't care how she did it. He was not involved in any way in the children's care or schooling. It's evident now how much he wasn't involved. 

I mean there were nights Andrea drove to Walmart at night while she was pregnant ALONE. Where was he? Playing video games at home with the kids? Yes, he went for some shopping trips but she had everything on a list to buy, he just helped put things in the cart. 

She did everything to run that household and he sat back and was one of the kids. He let her do anything becasue he was lazy and didn't want to help. He has been enabled by people his whole life. He's doing it now, he's being supported by contributors while he sits back and enjoys. Same with his marriage, he sat back and enjoyed while his wife ran everything. Now he's like poor me, well poor me should have been more involved in his kids lives so he wouldn't have been overwhelmed trying to figure out how to do things.He keeps playing up to the "I don't know how to do things" instead of just learning how to do things, he doesn't want to learn he wants others to do it for him!! 

Another note on the Diehl's video. Poor Claudia was wearing a dark red velveteen dress that I believe they wore at Christmas! It has long sleeves and she was wearing  capri leggings under it and cowboy boots. It's the middle of JUNE!

Sometimes people just control for the sake of controlling. It doesn't matter if they want X or Y; they just constantly control even when the manner in which they want to control is illogical. (Please see "Steve Maxwell" and "Contrasting Buttons".)

Thank you Grandma D.  Personal issues meant my time on social media was severely curtailed, hence my question about RDM.  I agree that it is a very creepy situation and her kids must be getting only a minuscule amount of Mom’s time.  It’s nothing short of disgraceful and her home life and child raising might warrant a visit from CPS.  

Rachel is undoubtedly neglecting her own kids in order to be front and center of every video and every livestream, regardless the time of day or night.  
Rachel Day lives for Tommy Mills which, quite frankly is grossly disturbing!

Strictly my thoughts, whether Andrea liked to be in control and Tom liked allowing her to be, enabling all the way from both ends. Sometimes people fake incompetency in order to have others take over. He said himself on a stream that Andrea would say a lot of times to him "here let me do that" AFTER he complained about not being able to do something or not being able to do a good job. He knows how to get what he wants, he does it to the you tube people. He knows just what to say and just how to speak in a certain tone. He plants the seed and then reaps the reward.

Rachel’s husband is employed.  She mentions it when talking about laundering his work clothes.  However, I don’t doubt that they also qualify for government assistance.  Money meant for their family alone, and not enough to splurge cash as she does on Tommy and his brood.  The woman has unaddressed psychological issues, that’s one thing I am certain of.  Tommy’s new woman, when she finally appears needs to watch her back!

Not a fan of the poor behavior we see from Tom; especially as it pertains to Claudia. But I also think it's crucial to be accurate.

Ok, I stand corrected if he has finally gotten rid of the germ laden, pee stained carpet that was on the floor of that bathroom/birthing suite for the majority of the 17yrs that they have lived in that pit.  
 

Anything in particular prompting his marginal improvement of the bathroom?  Has he now replaced the carpet with more appropriate floor covering?  ?

Tom has posted on the community tab that he might not be working on the bathroom today. He only works on it once a week so skipping a day means skipping a week. Just get that freaking bathroom finished you lazy man child, or pay someone else to do it properly!!!

On one of the videos he said something about not having code enforcement, but according to the town of Moorcroft's website, he's supposed to file for plumbing permits. I doubt he did so, nor has any idea about what kind of code that the town requires. That shower will likely be useless if he doesn't upgrade his water heater and who knows what the water pressure will be like.

He also says he is going to Magic Night and didn't have the time or didn't really feel like doing the 10 month anniversary of Andrea's death video, and he will do it on Saturday. He has a "very exciting errand to run"! "Exciting things are in the air!"

He's building up to something. What crazy thing did Tom buy this time? A video to think of Andrea gets shoved aside but he makes it to Magic night. Not surprised by "teen Tom's"  priorities. Isn't Andrea's death the whole reason he gets to beg for money but when he wants it to take the back seat it does.

He's introducing his new girlfriend of one month and a new van. I'm actually pretty OK with him getting a decent vehicle; their other one was gross. However, the dumb-ass YouTube people are like "ohhh no crack in the windshield" .. good lord, standards are different in different places. I beg you to find a single windshield in my state that isn't cracked. - it's what happens when you don't use salt and the roads have gravel and you just deal with it. I cried when my new car got a cracked windshield but it's not like my old car didn't have a huge crack in the windshield. I made it 6 months and that felt like a huge record. I hate the YouTube people, they are so dumb - whining about people who say "wash your hands" as though that's optional and not a best practice. and saying we "bash" all people with big families when that's not true. 

Seems like half of her kids are minors and the other half aren't. Her voice is MUCH more pleasant than Andrea's, but I thought Andrea sounded awful on camera. This lady knows how to actually talk into a microphone and form a coherent sentence .

Yeah, I didn't like Andrea and I don't like Tom so I guess "good for this person?" If she's happy and Tom's happy and she's willing to look after her 3 kids who are still at home + Tom's 8, whatever. Those kids need some sort of supervision and Tom needs a person to tell him what to fix around the house and do the shopping. If the kids get better food, better education, better sleep quality, and are cleaned more often, I don't care that Tom jumped to a new lady before a year was up. He clearly is incapable of being a parent, so whatever. Maybe she'll get them all therapy and a better curriculum.

She is prettier than Andrea... seems normal. Rachel Day must be loosing her mind right about now!

She is from Idaho.  Has 6 kids... 3 still live at home (of of the three is an adult).  She homeschools.  Is a widow of a year and a half or so.  Seems to be in a very similar place in life as Tom in that regard.  They met on a dating site but Tom wouldn't say which one.  The kids seem to like her -they met her two weeks before and this trip she is here (staying in a hotel) for a week.  I really, really, really wish I can caught this live so I could have watched RD's reactions.

April is also a gamer. Tom seemed to hit the jackpot.  

2 of her adult kids are in the military.  One is in college.  That at least gives me hope for the Mills kids if she sticks around as she obviously tries to give her kids a real future.

She seemed OK but who knows. Tom's not great, but Rachael is so unattractive, boring, and repetitive, there's no way Tom would ever go for her. I assume Rachel knew that, and that's why she's OK with spending hours of her time moderating Tom's YouTube chat for him. Whatever ghoul she married is probably the best she could do. Honestly, she might be one of the arguments against having money - most people look better when they have more money, but I don't even know where to start with her.

Not just a new girlfriend. a 2019 Ford Van!  That baby with taxes came to about $40,000 or more. It's a 15 seater.

He has been "seeing" his girlfriend for one month! She is two years older than him. He has actually physically seen her twice. She has 6 kids, including stepchildren. Her husband has been gone for one year and two months. Three of the kids are at home, one adult child and two around Eden and Justus' age. 

When he mentioned where she lived she responded "for now". He said he already loves her and that she is the perfect match for him. How does anyone know that in meeting the person only two times?

I feel so bad for those kids. Bringing in another person so quickly after losing their mother is going to add anxiety to them.  Getting those kids to a good place should come first. He hasn't even bought a headstone for Andrea. 

He may be right, she might be perfect for him, she's just as selfish as he is. She has her own children plus her deceased husbands children to care for and gets involved with a man with 9 children 9 months after they lose their mother and 14 months after she loses her husband? Oh what a mess he is creating for the Mills kids. My heart aches for them.

So, a dating website??   His own personal YT dating site, or another site?   Either way, he’s been on the prowl for 10 months.   I’ve only heard bits and pieces of his self-admitted porn addiction while Andrea was alive.  I don’t know how long ago that was.  He’s so disgustingly gross!!

I guess it’s true there is someone for everybody.  Even someone who normal people would never want, find someone. Simply amazing ?

Tom said she is a godly woman who homeschools.  Her favorite verse is Joshua something.  Her son is in the Marines and her daughter is in the Army!  I think those are her biological kids, too.  Hopefully she'll see Tom's girls as a bit more than just future mommies.

She is prettier than Andrea with nice teeth.  But she does have that similar look. She looks much younger than Andrea, who had aged extremely rapidly her last year.   She's 45 and Tom said it's jumping the gun if they will have kids together!  At 45, I would think she is done with that.

She already seems quite hands on with the little girls and Sully. They all seem to like her.   We'll see how it all pans out; dating doesn't mean marriage necessarily.

Also she said she knew nothing about the YouTube channel until two weeks ago.

I’m glad they got a new van, that old one has had trouble starting for several years and is disgusting. It looks like it’s the same as Jordan Page’s. I’m sad that Asher is getting the old one now but he wanted it and hopefully he’ll learn to drive soon.

April seems lovely from the small glance we get of her, of course anyone who likes Tom has got to be a little off or just doesn’t know the full package that is Tom Mills yet and I hope he doesn’t scare her away through his true colors. But so far I think she seems very nice. She has step children so either she’s twice widowed or she’s been divorced before and if that’s the case then Tom is a total hypocrite saying before that he wouldn’t want to be with a divorced women, but who knows. 

As far as Rachel, I really don’t think she was ever trying to win Tom over for herself and would be upset by this. I think she’s just a superfan who wants to be popular amongst the viewers as the knower of all things Mills. But this will take attention away from her role as that so maybe that’s something she won’t like, but not Tom having a girlfriend.

Solly seems really attached to April already. Hopefully if this works out she will be good for this family. But I have my doubts. If she's still into Tom after really getting to know him then I definitely question her as a person. I cringed when she said she has 6 kids. So 15 between the 2 of them. Normally I wouldn't care but if they do get married and she's bringing 3 with her how the heck are they all going to fit in that house? They don't fit now and they're going to possibly bring in 4 more people??? I wonder how the kids feel about that?! 

I am happy that he bought a newer van. Even if he did it more for himself it benefits the kids and they definitely deserve to have something nice. Lord knows everything else in their life is shit.
