Oh hey, I was just thinking about dying my hair! I was thinking of grabbing Overtone's new line for brown hair, either in "rose gold" for a more coppery tint, or a warm black. What do y'all think? I asked my SO and he was predictably useless when it came to fashion advice.

Pic of my natural hair below with a Duggar-approved mustard blouse.

Go for the coppery tint!

@squiddysquid This pic right here could totally be of my hair head!  Holy hair twins!  I only recently went the box route because the salon became insanely expensive as far as keeping up my blonde.  So I took the leap and went strawberry blonde and will probably never go back.  I am up for a roots job soon so I will post a pic of my hair and box product when I am done.

Yes please post! I'm itching for a change. Searching for light copper or dark pinks, not 100% decided yet.

I think they changed the formula of the one in the pic a bit since I took the photo. Usually changed colours quite often until the prison suit orange mishap, so when I found that one, I stuck to it. Bit hesitant when it comes too "natural" copper tints.

Any tips on pink hair dye?

I got my hair done professionally when I went hot pink. I then bought Viral shampoo and used it 1-2 times a week to freshen up the colour, and it lasted for months before I had to go back to the salon and get it punched up again.

I have light brown hair naturally, and have gone every color possible. By far, my favorite ever was purple. I felt like a glamorous unicorn princess. Unfortunately, the maintenance is a bitch for that color (even using a special tinted shampoo and only washing twice a week), and the first shower after a fresh dye job will leave your bathroom looking like you just murdered Barney. It happened once in a pristine, spotless white hotel bathroom. Suffice it to say, I left a hefty tip for housekeeping and offered to pay for the ruined towels.

Someone who I was in chorus with dyed her hair during one of our singing competition trips. She ruined all the towels in the hotel room. The girls she was rooming with were pissed at her as was the chorus director.

If you can afford it, going to a non natural color with a professional is much better. You'll have to bleach first.. The results are just going to be far superior. They'll have the abilities to give you dual tones and take precautions to protect your hair as well.

Hair schools are always an option. Since fun colors are still so popular there's never a lack of interest in learning. It may take a bit longer, but there's always an instructor at hand to help.

Those are definitely pants...maybe even shorts. I can't tell if the fringe at the knees is just distressing with a slit in the knee, or if they're cut off.

Huh, she is not one I thought would go for pants. I think the Swansons are skirt only? Plus, she wouldn't wear the traditional Austrian clothing because it was "too low cut". I really thought she'd be a skirt for life person.

Not pnly are they pants/shorts, but they're distressed! All those eyetraps and potential for glimpses of thigh skin, the scandal!

Maybe the deal with JB is that for the purposes of filming and visiting the big house the women are skirts only ( or leggings under skirts) but they can do what they like in private. The whole thing is becoming a farce now - it’s as if they don’t want to admit to wearing pants because they realise the interest in them will wane further.

Well the way her wedding dress was fitting those curves...I can't say I'm all that shocked. Or maybe she remembers that Josiah courted a girl who wears pants and assumes he's already ok with women wearing pants. She looks cute.

Perhaps it's a sign that she doesn't feel the need to fit in with his family as much after all.  If she's comfortable and happy in her clothes, good for her.  Especially since she's so young yet.  Maybe it means she and Josiah are settling into a more comfortable/natural relationship where she isn't play acting at what she thinks he wants.

Now if they'd go ahead and post something that makes me think their religious and social beliefs are changing, too, I'll be more impressed.  As I've said before, I feel a bit sorry for Lauren and what a difficult transition she seems to have had to wife and mother, but only to a point.

Lauren was pictured wearing pants at one the Bontrager's retreats a few years back. Someone here found the picture on their blog. Granted, they were sweatpants and not form fitting jeans, but I'm not too shocked she's wearing them.

So the only sister(in-law) we have not seen with pants is Kendra then?

Joy was seen wearing them hiking at least once.

It seems to me Skirts only is pretty much dying out unless they are older or Like the Maxwells. Fashions and tastes change even for Young Christian Fundamentalists.

I think JB & Michelle still believe skirts only for females so I don’t think the unmarried girls will be wearing pants without a skirt on top- Anna seems to go for this too.
The ones who depend on Counting On (& therefore JB) for income will probably continue to wear skirts for filming & visits to the big house & keep the pants for when they are in private.

I see these guys no different than the Bates - I remember Alyssa replying to a comment saying that her parents require they wear skirts for filming since it's "their show".

I think most of the married girls, daughters & DILs,  (with maybe the exception of Anna and mayyybe Kendra) will all end up wearing pants if they don't already but will remain skirts only for filming. Pretty sure we've seen Jill wearing pants at the big house during a family gathering.
