I own an iron. The last time I used it I made a "Votes For Women" suffragette sash.

The last time I used mine I was making my Handmaid costume dress.

At least it's not a hard standard. Maybe she should use some of her organic coconut oil as a moisturizer on both her hair and skin.

Maybe she already does. Coconut oil can dry out both skin and hair.

Last I checked, Lori was using the grease from her grilled cheese sandwiches as a moisturizer.  Swear to god- she straight up did it in one of her videos. ?

Hmm...Lori must be needing attention this week.  She's posted both of her VIRAL!!!!! posts in the last 3 days (one on Instagram, one on Facebook).

It's kind of pathetic.  She's so obvious.

Lori and Ken walking on the beach...

"Ken, can you believe how many Christian women just let themselves go after they get married?  Ken!  Ken!!?  Take your eyes off that little ho in a thong and back to your loving, godly, shriveled wife who will never leave you!".

Ken whispers, "Fuck!", under his breath.

Lori laughs softly.

They hate each other.

Is she just coming completely unflippingraveled?  She's posted yet another video in her pajamas, hair going every which way, and looking rather wild-eyed.  What on earth is possessing her to get out of bed and start recording?

Spoiler

l9.PNG.cd80143295543576693309cb9594216a.PNG

There is something unhinged in her eyes.  It's almost scary.

I am also noticing that when she should be saying "woman", she'll say "women" instead.
I've noticed it in the last 2 videos...in this one, she said something like, "...there's nothing a women could do about it."

I know she used to write "use to" vs "used to", "suppose to" vs "supposed to", & "get marry" vs "get married". I see a lot of people make those mistakes in writing, but I was rather surprised to hear that she speaks that way as well.

I am not about to watch her videos,  but a lot of my trashy midwest family takes like that.  I made those mistakes until I went to college and learned to speak proper.  I am always worried about slipping up. I really do think her brain injury hurt her more than she knows. Ken probably wouldn't notice if she changed or not, tbh.

"She told me that she never deprived her husband sexually. She was available to him and was a loving, submissive wife. She wrote, “I know that our situation was extra unique because, unlike most marriages, I had always been available to my husband and didn’t drive him away from me by defrauding or dominating him."

This is part of the same blog post from Lori as the sharing walk. I think it's the last sentence I find most objectionable. How had this 'friend' not defrauded her husband? What does this mean?? The fact she is proud of being 'always available' to her husband just makes me feel ill. Where is her agency in the marital bed?? What sort of a lesson is this? It just creeps me.

I agree.....our dear mentor is becoming even more undone (if that's possible) Especially after the first of her recent pajama videos where she started out "I decided not to make any more videos" and then makes several in succession (like 5 in a week).

Here's another example of her strange way of wording things:

Well she certainly has been truthful when she says she learned nothing in school!

I so fear for the next generation of her leghumper homeschoolers.  I foresee another generation of people who think "he don't", "I seen" and "I set" are correct.  Of course she didn't learn anything in college.  She was only there to trap a man.  If you look at pics of Ken from their college days, he looks like a '70s porn star with that mustache.  Not that I've ever seen a '70s porn movie :).

to be fair, I know a ton of public schooled people who talk like this. It isn't just a homeschool thing.

I don't own one.  Seriously.  If it's that fancy, I'll take it to the dry cleaners.  Like the poster upthread, you give me an iron, and somehow I'll figure out how to add wrinkles.

Don't let it sit in the dryer too long...that's my trick.

I stopped ironing after I was discharged.  I was in the last batch of troops who still had what we call "analog" cammies so I was used to ironing at least 3 times a week. The USMC was getting around to issuing everyone those gawd awful digitally printed cammies and I got mine my last year in.  No ironing.  It was a rule because of the cloth they're made from.  As if the old ones didn't make you look chubby enough....ugh those things could murder the self esteem.  I do still press dress shirts for the headship and the Boy for weddings and whatnot.  I don't mind doing it, tedious doesn't bother me.  I'm terrible about letting clothes sit in the dryer for a week at a time.

I think Lori's obsessive nature is just finally cracking her.  Control freaks gotta control, and when they can't they tend to go a little left of center.

True. We have an executive in my organization who uses incorrect verb tense. She makes my ears bleed and it undermines her credibility.

Can we all just take a minute to look at the title page on one of her recent "Youtubes"?  "...not sleeping good."  NOT. SLEEPING. GOOD???  I just can't with her grammar.

In the newest one on porn, she says something like "I want to dispel this using scripture.  In Matthew 5....I think it's verse twenty or so..."

********

Lori, if you want to use scripture to prove a point, you might want to...you know...actually KNOW the scripture. Have a Bible ready and turned to the scripture you wish to use.  You are not a successful speaker because you do not prepare for your little videos. Well, and because you have no actual knowledge of most of the Bible; but whatever. Now is a good time to remind you that Zsu Anderson is an outstanding public speaker and ENGLISH IS HER SECOND LANGUAGE!!!   Put that in your Einkorn bread and smoke it.

exactly! I try to pull it out of the dryer right away. OR I will put it on a hanger, shower, leave the bathroom and have the shirt hanging on the towel rack. Steams helps. I do have a steamer but its dying. Oh check out Costco for clothes that don't require ironing. Its awesome.

Been away from the Lori train for a couple days, being a whore of Babylon, but who riled up the Oracle of California to the point where she is doing videos in the middle of the night?

I don't really care for Zsu, but she is a good speaker. I was impressed with her commentary on "To Train Up a Child".

I don't remember where I heard this, but someone asked Zsu about Lori, and Zsu said, "I have no interest in anything she has to say"

I thought that was great.

Dear Lori,

Here is a quick grammar lesson from something I taught TO FIFTH GRADERS:

Good: adjective and goes with a noun.

Well: adverb and goes with a verb.

Sleep: verb

So it's "Sleeping Well" you willfuly ignorant dummy.

YES to everything you wrote.

Regarding Lori's decision to make early morning videos; in her first one, about a week ago, she said she wanted to try the early morning chats before anyone is awake. I wonder why she thinks that matters. Those videos don't just disappear like an IG story. Is she really so dumb that she believes nobody will see it because she made it at the crack of dawn? @Free Jana Duggar, I'm not addressing this to you specifically; but to the whole group. I just wanted to add that thought while I was responding to you.

Anybody?  WHAT IS SHE THINKING?!?

Also, WHY DO I CARE SO MUCH?!?  Ack!
