@SamiKatz, people in my life with September birthdays:  three daughters, one brother, father-in-law, niece, and one brother-in-law.  May and January are also big months for family birthdays and both my sister-in-law and grandson were born on December 17th.   On the other hand, I was an adult before I met another person with my birthday.

Well the dates suggest that data was pulled from 1994-2014. And the rarest dates are Christmas, Christmas Eve, July fourth, and New Year's Eve. This leads me to believe that the trend of scheduling cesarians influenced birthdates and that parents (and likely the doctors) chose not to schedule certain dates that were holidays. As for the leap day babies maybe some parents purposefully scheduled this to have an unusual birthday?

After reading more closely it looks like it's the research is averaged per year. So leap day numbers are only the average for when they occurred right? And that means most people would not schedule those days frequently but isn't technically a holiday so it has more scheduled than the other days? 

I got way into solving this mystery.

My birthday is 323rd, I have always felt it was relatively rare! I just recently met one other person who shares April 29.

My boyfriend is in that crazy week in September, I just shared with him that he is holiday loving baby!

In my family, from Aug to Oct we have 12 birthdays.  My niece is actually 9/9 too, the most common and my Dad #7 (9/20).

I grew up with a kid who had the same birthday as me (he was younger though).

cool! I was either 5 or 7 days late, according to my mom... but who knows with the dating of due dates anyway, most go by LMP and I know I almost always ovulate later than day 14.

I hear you.  I was the only one in my extended family born within my birth month, until a cousin's kid came along over 25 years later.  First met someone with the same birthday when I was around 40.  Interestingly, my birthday is almost dead-center in the ranking chart...I always figured it must be rare.

My sister in law had her second child on her own birthday.  My youngest brother and our nephew have the same birthday, so our family definitely agrees with the original poster who said shared birthdays are likely in a family.

May is hell month for me. I have to get organized well in advance re cards/presents/dinners etc.  The birthday list includes my husband, my sister, my FIL,  my 3 Godchildren, and my 2 closest friends. Oh and my parents anniversary is in there too.

Me, my husband, and my daughter were all born on Tuesdays. I'm kind of hoping our future children are born on Tuesdays too, because I think that would be cute.

My husband is one week older than me, and was born one week past his due date. Which was my mom's date with me, but I was also a week late! That's like some kind of standardized test logic problem right there.

If I recall correctly, the thread drift in the run-up to Spurge's due date was wedding dresses and bump pictures. Now we have birthday madness.

I think the busiest time for my family for the most part is the late spring/summer. July it seems like there's a wedding or anniversary every other day. July 6th there are two wedding anniversaries and my uncle's birthday. My grandmother had 3 July birthdays! Definitely the favoured month! Although my Dad pointed out that he was born exactly 9 months after his Dad's birthday. File that under things that I didn't need to know.

I guessed Tozer before they were even preggo, so I'm sticking with that. For a girl, Paris. Either way, 9+ lbs, born Sunday.

My bday is the 13th and I always love it when it falls on Friday the 13th.  Because my babies are huge and the previous one had been almost 11 lbs, they let me be induced a week early for my last one...I got to pick the day and I chose Friday the 13th .
