My birthday is the 84th most common. I share it with a cousin and one of my grandmothers. My daughter was also born in the top half of the list. I know the exact date we conceived her because we ran out of condoms that day lol.

Funny, the most common birthday, September 9, is the birthday of one of my high school best friends and one of my ex-boyfriends.

My birthday is in peak the September period. I was overdue too, so I could probably move up the rankings if I wasn't late! I've only met one person with the same birthday as me, but I know plenty who are close by.

I think my immediate family has a pretty neat pattern. My brother was born in April, Dad is in June, I'm September and Mum is November. All the months with only 30 days!

My grandfather was born on Christmas Day, my friends younger brother was born on 01/01/01, and another friend is a February 29th baby and a New Year's Eve baby too! I am surprised February 29th isn't lower on the list considering it's only once every 4 years.

as a twin we were overdue (almost 41 weeks I think?) but our original birthday was my dad's birthday which would have made me so mad tbh just because I'm already sharing my birthday with someone, can't have two. I also just met a woman who is a twin and shares a birthday with her mom and I blurted that out, tehe

My sister is the outlier among birthdays, 4/5 of us are either 13/31 and my sister has 24.

Speaking of births, one of my good friends is expecting his first with his wife in July.  He is also best man in an out of state wedding that just got moved up to July.

Naturally, I asked him if he was planning to step down from best man duties considering there was now a question of whether he would be able to attend.  His answer: "Oh no, it'll be fine.  Wife is due a week and a half before the wedding so everything will be settled by then."

Oh you sweet summer child...you aren't attending that wedding. 

(Knowing Wife, my personal money is that she lets him know he will not be going when she hits her third trimester.)

My Dad was born on 8th of January 1935. Same day as Elvis!! Dad never looked at his Starsign in the paper. He reckons it's all nonsense. Elvis could sing, Dad can't! Elvis got rich. Dad didn't.

David Bowie and Shirley Bassey also born on the 8th January. (Different years obviously), they have good voices. Not Dad. He always says its most unfair!!

I love that February 14th is 63rd but there is no other date prior to May until 144th (4/4). I'm all the way at the bottom, 344th. And I was a scheduled c section so it was a chosen date. I expected being at the bottom. I work in health care and have met 1000's of patients and yet only a handful have had my birthday.

Of course, the statistics are based on the assumption that every day is equally probable, which is probably a fair assumption for that situation, but some birthdays actually are more common than others (my birthday is one of the 10 least common). It goes by average births per day, so even though 2/29 only comes around every four years the average number of babies born that day wouldn't be that different from any other day. It's just that instead of taking an average of 20 years of data, like the other 365 days of the year, they're taking an average of 5 years.

Hey hey hey, no conception story is "better" than anybody else's <3 ~ Your IVF conception story is filled with science, and awesomesauce (that is just a coolio expression, and not a not-so-subtle pun for sperm) haha. 

As for birthdays, Jessa and I have a similar thing, in that my bday is Nov 5th (woot for me and Spurgie?!).  And my son was born on Nov 6th.  My husband's birthday is in April, and my second son is April as well . . . and yes, it kinda creeps me out to realize my Mom and I got knocked up at the same with my firstborn, and I was knocked up at the same time as my MIL with my second son

I suppose for women able to either induce to get a rare birthday or have a section for a rare birthday, February 29th is a popular rare choice?

I also have a September 9, my Kiddo and one of my kids shares a birthday with the Duggar who 10/28. The other two (DD & niece)  are in July and birthdays lack 6 days of being a year apart
