Seewalds 15 - American Baby (Baby is Here!)

Ooh. I'm 27th. But then it's an American list and I'm not American...

I like looking up people who share my birthday, and also doing it for people I know. I share a birthday with the late Princess Diana, Olivia de Havilland and Pamela Anderson.

Among my immediate family and my sister's family, no one was born between late February and mid-August.  In the month between 8/16 and 9/14, there are 5 birthdays. Then there is one in late October (me), one in late November, one in mid-December, one in late January, and one in late February. Then my nephew married a woman who shares a birthday with my late mother. They finally broke the pattern a bit by having their son in early April.

My birthday is 305th on the list.

In my dad's side of the family, we have birthdays on 10/20 10/23 10/24 and 10/26. My grandma had four kids, two in December and two in July. I have never met anyone with my birthday in person, although I have online. I know tons of people born the day before and day after me, though.

My birthday is 75th in popularity. Who knew? I know two others IRL with my birthday. Mr. Four's birthday is two days after mine (same year) and my brother's X wife shares that birthday. Two's due date was Mr. Four's birthday, he was born a week before. So in a week we have three birthdays. A month later is Four's birthday. Outliers are One and Three..

Mine is 54th on the list. Conceived 3/30.

My Hub's is dead last- Christmas Day

I am sure the increase in c-sections has decreased those born on holidays!

And inductions. Look at how many are born in the next week, between Christmas and New years.

My daughter was born that week in September that has all of the top most popular days. Labor and Delivery was like Grand Central Station. My labor and delivery were super quick and my doctor said "Thank You." :pb_lol:

I don't know about everyone else that was feeling the love in mid-December but I'm just always in a really good mood that time of year. Work is always really slow, there's lots of pretty lights everywhere, boozy holiday parties....

I was born on a Saturday. Mum remembers that it was boiling hot and Wimbledon was on TV. (As in the tennis). I was a day early. I peed on the scales. My mother needed stitches afterwards... and I wasn't a C-section baby, I just had a huge head. (Apologies if TMI).

My B-Day is 27th most common.

In my family it's november that is filled. We have 3rd, 17th, 19, 20, 22, 23 and 27. March is gaining tho

I found out about a year ago that I was a "summer vacation at the beach" baby - all three of us were conceived in hotels, apparently, me at the beach and the other two at some conference they went to 2 years in a row (my youngest sister was born on the middle sister's due date, just a year later - the middle sister was a month early or would have been born around that same time of year).

On names, I'm kind of wondering if they really HAVEN'T talked much about it - if he's suggesting more terrible Spurgeoney names and she's wanting something more "tryndee" or pretty, and it's not terribly godly to be fighting with one's headship, maybe they're postponing the inevitable fight by just not talking about it. I could see her pulling some post-birth tears and histrionics to try and get her name agreed to, if he was digging in on something awful.

I'm thinking she'll have the baby Sunday, and end up at a hospital. There'll be a freakout when someone turns on the Superbowl and the innocent new duggarlet is tainted by hearing the ungodly sounds of Lady Gaga in it's first hour of life.

The months for our family are July and August, which included all but one of seven grandchildren on my mom's side (my poor left out brother was born in December). We have b-days on 7/5 (2), 7/9, 7/13, 7/15, 7/19, 7/22, 7/26, 7/28, 8/6, 8/9, 8/12 and 8/25. Plus one aunt and uncle's anniversary in August, too.

When I got engaged, my aunt said to me, "When is his birthday? I assume in July?" It is. He's the 19th.

in our house we don't have a month, but we have events on the 15ths of various months.

DH, b-day 5/15

Anniversary: 9/15

DD b-day 12/15

I feel like there is another instance too

We were planning on being induced so DS would arrive on 10/15, but he showed up on his own a week early (10/7) I was hoping for 10/11, because it would have been 10/11/12 (ha!) and we know exactly the day he was conceived since it was in a dr office!

My neighbors growing up had two sons with the same birthday. They were not twins.

Actually I remember their mom complaining that planning birthdays was difficult because they couldn't really share a party. A 5 year old and a 10 year old don't really share many interests.

My oldest sister is five years old than me and my mom went into labor with me at her birthday party.

Lo and behold, we're birthday twin- almost the same time of day too.

I have the 10th most popular birthday and share a birthday month with my brother. My other siblings share the month of August.

My kids are born in January and May. I'm glad I have a good gap between birthdays because parties are so tiresome!

My mother went into labour with me when she was bringing my cousin around Trick or Treating. I was born the next morning! I would have liked to be a Halloween baby though. :)

My aunt had my cousins on the same day, 10 years apart, and both were c-section babies.

I just saw on the news yesterday that a baby girl born last week shares her birthday with both of her parents. I don't remember the specific stats, but as you can imagine, its pretty damn rare.

My birthday is in the least popular half of the list but I share it with an uncle and a cousin. Mind you my extended family is fairly big so I don't think there's a month without birthdays, though January is quite quiet.

That reminds me of Parks and Recs

A friend of mine was born on April 1st. It was a couple weeks before her due date and as such her father apparently thought her mother was making an April fools joke when she told him she was in labor.
