Well, if we find out she is going to deliver at home with some kind of dubious midwife, after last time's bleeding and subsequent ambulance trip to the hospital, I think we need to start that prayer chain I mentioned here before. I mean, really. I want only happy news for these moms and their babies. I guess I am nervous about that.

They sound quite easy to make? I went to her IG and several leghumpers are actually buying/raving about them. How can people afford $40 PLUS SHIPPING for 4 little cupcakes? I guess it's the whole "fame" aspect. Omg these cupcakes were touched by Ciara's holy hands.

One IG commenter actually wrote that these jar cakes are a great deal because they saw someone else charging $69.99 for a four-pack. WHAT?! Why do people think cupcakes smushed into a mason jar are a rare delicacy?

Mason jars have gone up in price now that they are super trendy. Damn Pinterest showing people what us hicks had been doing for years. lol But a dozen jelly sized ones can be picked up for less than $10 at Walmart. She's got less than $20 in a dozen of these so yeah the price is insane IMO.

That's also when we found out about Si and Marge. Someone had seen them at CB but none of us believed it at the time.

And I would take Vaginal over c/s every day.   Either way,  it is always good to know that it is called labor for a reason.  It is hard work.  If it wasn't,  they would have called it picnic.

That's awesome. We all have our preferences. I chose not to add that I had to have reconstructive surgery on my netherregions as a result of my child's ginormous head.  A c-section was safer, although I could have done another vaginal if I had wanted. I had my tubed tied and didn't want an additional surgery.

Omg both sound awful! With a c section you get a scar, but the ripping/tearing you experienced bc of the head sounds even worse! Maybe I will just adopt lol. That would be perfectly fine with me, but I know so many guys are very adamant about having one of "their own" it's like a pride thing I guess.

I had such an easier time with my c/s recovery. But I do see how vaginally is easier for some. I'm not a physician, I'm just speaking from my own experience lol.

This goes back to the previous thread, but somebody suggested Heaven Pleasure for a girl. I just spent a good chunk of my weekend at a sexy trade show, and all I can thing about when I hear that is personal lubricant, or some kind of a feathery body tickler.

Tozer isaiah is a good bet for a boy. It sounds like it could be a Christian rapper name. I still immediately think Hoser when I hear Tozer- a sure sign that I'm Canadian, eh?

Ezekiel Wilberforce could be another option for a boy. It's a mouthful and a half, and about as ridiculous Spurgeon. Possibly even worse, because at least Spurgeon has a somewhat normal middle name.

When Spurgeon defects and changes his name to Elliot, I wonder if he'll ever phone home.

It would be just so Duggar-like to choose a name while being completely unaware of its connotations, in the same way I bet they had no idea about sturgeons or SpongeBob, so Heaven sounds a possibility.

Though I'd expect the trailer-trash version  of it - Neveah, spelled backwards - to be more likely.

Way I look at it, there is no easy way to add a child to your family. Vaginal, C-Section, surrogacy, adoption - doesn't matter, they can all suck and hurt.

What matters is that you do what's best for you and your family. :)

C'mon Jessa. Today, please.  Btw, wasn't there some weird "family" type post on the Duggar Fam site when she was in labor last time that we figured was a coded message?  Ya, we're not obssessed at all.

Probably because she was equally as annoyed with Jill's chalkboard updates as we were.

My Ma told my dad she was in labor. My dad told my mom to make him some coffee.

My my dad also dropped a bunch of  fresh Eels in the sink for my mom to cook. She was very pregnant at the time.

And then some other  time he got a skinned baby rabbit and wanted her to cook that. That was also during her pregnancy.

The story ends with your mum never letting him near her again, right?

They won't have to worry about that in the future, when they get enough fundies in the legislature.  They will just change the rules that homebirths and midwives don't need licenses, just the way they were able to relax all the rules about home schooling.  I really don't feel this is an exaggeration.

Yep. I was induced. 20 hour labor + 2 hours of pushing. Not trying to scare you. Lots of people have flawless inductions. Mine was a little rough. When my little guy came along, I opted for anow elective c-section because I knew he was going to be the last pregnancy for me.  I'd take a c/s over vaginal  birth any day.

Me too, 22 hours of labor and 4 hours of pushing, wound up with c/section. My advice try to keep that kid in on a major US holiday.  My labor went about 6 hours longer than it should have. My water broke at 35 wks 6 days, born at 36 weeks. They thought the baby was small so they started the induction, not only was he 8 lbs he was posterior position with a 14.5 in head.

@marmaladeI my water broke the night before thanksgiving so we called the family about 7 am and told them hold off on dinner, had we know it was going to take until nearly midnight Thanksgiving night we would have allowed them to have dinner before they rushed up. Not that they would have waited him being the 1st grandbaby & all.

I have never had a real contraction or a vaginal birth but my c-section, while terrifying (I felt like I was on a rollercoaster it was so rough, them moving around my organs), was pretty easy to heal from. The first day or two after, standing/walking/bathroom, was horrific but after that I healed really quickly. Granted, I didn't have babies to care for at home so I could heal (though I was up every 3 hours pumping so it's not like I was getting full nights of sleep). Anyway, this is just to say that I agree sometimes sections are easy to heal from, everyone is different.

Down south, where the fundies control everything, they've decimated the public schools so anyone with any money sends their kids to charter/private schools. It depends how long we the people allow the right wing thugs to decimate our country before we rise up and get rowdy to stop them from doing this everywhere.
