Yes, but if I recall that was posted on instagram in December or so.  NOT September when google says the car went by for streetview.

Maybe they're like Hobby Lobby and start decorating for Christmas in July.

She crafted new ones? I don't know if the Sept/Dec ones look any different. I can't craft but my neighbor is constantly making new things for her door. Not sure why anyone would want wreaths all year.

I really wonder what Derick says to himself that makes it okay for his father in law and TLC to support them. Leave and cleave my butt. You didn't earn that fancy ass house.

I think the pool house is on a separate plot of property.  It's listed separately in tax records and there are two houses in between the TTH and the pool house.

The shot of Joy hanging the sign with Michelle is from the last episode of Counting On when they were getting ready for the return of the Dillards. It's when Michelle says 'You're so tall' as Joy hangs the sign. I'm betting we will see more of the party and wedding prep discussion in the first episode of the new season.

I never realized that Jill and Derrick's house was so close to the main compound...anyone know how far the Seewald's are? And why are they still in the tiny house when Jill's house is nearly 4,000 sq. ft?? And I thought I read somewhere on here that John David has a house? Is it also close by?

If they're so big into real estate, why are they not renting houses to PAYING tenants instead of letting their grown kids mooch? :confusion-shrug:

Why rent to the Great Unsaved when they can keep their bizzare family so close they're at the point of combining into one entity? One whole amorphous quivering Christian blob?

True. I was thinking logically, my mistake! :pb_lol:

Interesting to view it from above. Does anyone know the actual boundaries of their land? I know they have 19 or 20 acres, it would be interesting to see what  all is actually on it.

Did the Duggars do/say anything for Jed & Jer's birthday? 18 is a pretty big one.

Now they have more "legal" kids than not

Yup - no more "19 kids and counting."  Its more like "11 unemployed, uneducated adults and counting"

I really think the duggar parents never thought that far when it came to their kids growing up. It was always about conceiving the next one - it's like a saying from high school - time will pass - will you ?

to them that the girls are married and pregnant (at least some of them ) that is the bigger achievement. their army grows

the fact that they have so many living with them - they don't realize is a bad thing.  the whole leave and cleave thing is a joke purely based on jessa alone because she is always there....

and why exploit the fact that all the married ones live in houses provided by the parents.

it's coming to light that these people have no clue - just a cult that they follow which will blow up in their faces

its fascinating

I don't think the Duggars ever believed in "leave and cleave" that seems to be more of a Bates thing. Jim Bob wants to maintain control of his children, which is why I think so many live at home.

I do think, had TLC not been there to throw money at that that they would adhere to "leave and cleave" more closely. Joshley through Joy would already be married right now, and the twins probably courting.

I agree with this!

He has done no justice to his children in being able to function in the real world. I am just amazed at how they have chosen to keep their boys from doing anything. I think they were banking on fame to get them wives, lol.

I think he did it on purpose. He's keeping them tied to him, they'll never leave the cult of JB.

Definitely on purpose. I find it funny though that he tells Jeremy to get a second job when most of his boys couldn't get a first job. The control is strong with ol jbob

I don't think JB really wanted Jeremy to get a second job. I think he was going to use it as a bargaining chip to get Jeremy to move to Arkansas. I don't think JB understands that Jeremy has a real life that he isn't willing to drop for JB.

I remember the special when they were building the big house, and Jim Bob said they had something like 20 acres, enough for all his kids to build their own house on the property.  Duggarville subdivision!

I doubt JB and Michelle want any of their kids to leave now. I mean, look what happened when they let Josh go off on his own? The horrible, evil world turned him into an adulterer and porn addict!

I can answer that! Because they're purty!

I'm fixing to put up my post-Christmas carnival season wreaths, which I'll take down for valentines Day followed by Mardi Gras on Feb. 15 then St. Pat's then ... oh you get the idea.

My DIL would love you, and my 3 year old grandson loves to decorate. They spent a lot of time before Christmas at the dollar store looking for things for him to use. Did I mention Halloween? They served hot mulled wine to the adults and hot cider to the kids along with candy.

I don't have a clue about wreaths or crafts but I can imagine it now with your description. :my_shy:

I'm hopeless! Maybe Jana likes to do the same thing.

Jim Bob wants his daughters to get hitched so another person can be responsible for them financially, but I think his frail ego still wants to lord over the married kids.

He thinks his kids are property.
