Lori and the PP collide

Recommended Posts

I'm about to head into my work dungeon where I get no service, but I'll concoct something and send it for your review later. You're better at this than me :P

also, could it be lori is trying to garner more readers by trying to appeal to the pp/zsu crowd? i wonder how they would feel about that, especially since lori and ken's beliefs are so different, they could considering it to be leading the faithful sheep astray.

I have little faith that Lori has that kind of planning ability.

Firiel:Zsuzsanna - I am a long time reader and I am so very blessed to read your blog and by your beautiful family. I saw something on another blog (by way of a liberal friend's FB) yesterday that gravely concerns me. A woman blogger, whose beliefs are drastically in opposition to yours (uses NIV "Bible" in church, wears immodest clothing, dances, rock music in church, daughters work, etc) using your husband's sermon to promote her ideas. I don't want any of your husband's sheep to be led astray. His ministry is so profound, I don't want to think about what this false prophet could do to his reputation as a faithful man of God. Check out this link. The part I am referring to is at the very bottom.

I loathe Zsu with the heat of 1,000 fiery suns, but I would absolutely love to see Ken have his ass handed to him by her. She is such a relentless hateful shrew that she would have a scathing counterpoint to everything that Ken says.

However, I fear that Zsu's leghumpers that spy here are at this moment reporting back to her about our wish to see a Zsu/Ken showdown. I can only hope that Zsu's desperate need to be correct about EVERYTHING will overrule the fact that her doing so will make us FJ hags happy.

I need to see this happen.

I like it. I'd add a little thing like, "while some of her beliefs line up with yours, may are drastically..." and then maybe something about a wolf in sheep's clothing because the small overlap of beliefs might lead readers to listen to her.

While this is beatifully and hilariously worded, I am afraid it might be too much. Zsu is not fool (okay, well yeah she is), and I am afraid this might tip her off. Maybe making it simpler might be better.

PP & Zoo-Zoo will not care about this at all!!! PP is fighting the Jesus hating Jews now because is new Award winning :wtf: movie is coming out. Also he is still fighting with Dr James White and he has challenged PP to a debate on his radio show, I don't know if PP will do it or not.

Zoo-Zoo is too busy training her new charge (PT unpaid nanny) on how to be a good Christian wife, also planning Solomon's 13th birthday party. She is in hog heaven right now, HCofSC is growing and new members are coming to her for advice on how to keep a Christian household, organic cooking, home schooling and home birth, she is now the Queen Bee of HCofSC and that is what she wanted all long, so until the house of cards collapse she is going to post these lovely postings.

Ken vehemently defends his false interpretation of Matthew 5:28 as strongly as he defends his views on submission. This is not the first time that he has insisted it doesn't mean what it actually says. He could not be more obvious if he tried. Clearly, he enjoys looking at other women - his behavior toward Courtney made that clear - and I have no doubt he allows himself to go beyond admiring to actual lusting. His justification of that behavior by twisting scripture is abhorrent. Now that he is minimizing pornography, I believe he is also into porn and is finding ways to justify it. Of course his main argument is that it might be bad but it's not as bad as being a difficult wife.

On a different note, I wonder if Lori has watched PP's video about beating his kids. That would make her positively giddy. Maybe she could watch it while Ken is watching his porn. Win win.

If Lori was my wife, I'd want any escape possible, including looking at porn. :shifty-kitty:

I am loling at the fact that even the leg humpers are smacking Ken and Lori on the hand today.

Friday's attempt to prove that no matter what a man does, his shrew of a wife is worse= A big giant fail! :nenner:

Y'all move too fast for me to be able to contribute to the discussion very much...but I'm still lurking around :pink-shock:

1. The youngest daughter does work...didn't it come up recently that youngest and her husband decided that she wouldn't work more than part-time because work and keeping house was too much for her?

2. Re: creepy Ken: Does anyone know what happened between Ken/Lori and Courtney? Not only has she stopped commenting but her blog is totally gone.

3. Has anyone else noticed how few blogs are now linked on Lori's site? I think she must be aiming for a more strictly fundie audience since she has been losing so many of her "moderate" readers.

That comes from believing in what the Pearls preach. Debi's book

created to be his helpmeet
is all about allowing bad behavior and full of scary examples of how when a wife stands up for herself it's a spirit of rebellion and it will be hell on earth to lose that awful hubby and have to make it through life alone.

Ken,

When you view pornography, you are looking to another person (or other persons) to fulfill your sexual needs, therefore bringing others into the intimate confines of your marriage. That is acceptable if both spouses agree to that, but when one spouse views pornography against the wishes of the other, it IS a betrayal. You cannot take that away from a wife (and I say wife, because that is the scenario you continue to use). If a woman says she feels betrayed - that is her feeling and you are beyond arrogant and completely without compassion to continue to tell a woman she should not consider it a betrayal. Your deep disdain and blatant lack of compassion for the feelings of others is so un-Christ like, that I'm actually saddened. When you continue to wrongly teach the meaning of Matthew 5:28, to suit your own needs, you are hurting the cause of Christians. You are hurting yourself, as it is an obvious attempt to justify your sin.

Having said all that, I do realize that those who are addicted to anything often look for ways to justify or minimize their addiction. You find that easier than acknowledging your addiction and therefore taking steps to fight it.

Honestly, with today's post I don't know whether to be angry at you for false teachings, or saddened that you are so deeply entrenched in something you preach against that you can't see the trap you've fallen into.

When I saw Mrs. W's comment, I somehow knew that Ken wouldn't let it slide.

Loving being Mrs. W · 2 hours ago

Joseph, thank you this has blessed! It is all about our hearts and only God knows what is in each and everyone's hearts! That is why only He and He alone can judge a man or woman's sin because He knows what sin is in our hearts! We have a wonderful Heavenly Father!

What you wrote here is gold!

I do believe that some sins have greater consequences, regarding marriage, life, etc

Ken · 6 minutes ago

Yes, and I wrote the same thing:

"I am not sure how God assigns negative values to certain sins, but I would think He would assign the worst of sins to the ones that cause the most damage. Far greater damage is done to a marriage and family by constant conflict from needy or difficult spouses who allow feelings and emotions to rule their behaviors."

Unfortunately far too often the damage from porn depends primarily on a wife's negative reaction and response to it. If she allows her hurt and pain to destroy her marriage, what destroyed her marriage? The porn, the response with hurt and pain, or both. I suggest it was both.

Does anybody else find it absolutely juvenile that Ken could not let another man receive a compliment? I'm not sure I've ever encountered such an insecure individual.

By the way, has he retired? He has lots of time for the blog lately.

If you believe that all lust is adultery, then every man has committed adultery since all have lusted at one time or another.

Oh, Lori. You come so close and yet miss the mark entirely, each and every time. I'd think you were a Poe if it weren't so obvious that you're deadly earnest.

Yes, every man has committed adultery in his heart. EVERY one of them (and I daresay most women, too -- with the exception of people who are asexual, but hey, they, too, may have spent some time lusting after a deliciously frosted cupcake or something). Maybe you remember Romans 3:23 and maybe you don't. But I strongly urge you to take "always learning" a little more seriously and spend more time studying the Bible and learning from theologians who are far wiser than you and a little less time spouting nonsense. Your heresy is showing.

Your comment Ksdee, "Adultery can be physical as well as emotional. Either way, the innocent spouse is being betrayed" has a part that is true, but there is no such thing as "emotional adultery."

And Ken, if you've never heard of "emotional affair," then wake up. Emotional infidelity may well be far more damaging to a marriage than sexual infidelity.

What the heck? Victim blaming.

I just checked Lori's blog and I'm surprised that the comment regarding Steve and Zsu is still up. I hope some of the Lori's readers have googled Pastor Steve Anderson.

I've often wondered about Courtney. I was not following Lori's blog when she commented, nor had I ever read Courtney's blog. I just saw comments, etc that were quoted here with regards to Ken's "hitting on her." I've always thought that Courtney and/or her husband got a little nervous about Ken's forward comments; and that's why she quit commenting. I would not be surprised at all if Ken tried to contact her privately, causing her to completely remove her internet presence. It's a real shame because she seemed like a very sincere and sweet young woman. If she happens to read here, I wish her the best.

I was afraid to click on the link because something told me it was going to be PP. Wow. Just wow.

I did love this line, though:

Is there some method of birth control that just jumps into your mouth when you least expect it? Or crawls into your hoohah without your knowledge? Because just because it was invented doesn't mean Lori had to CHOOSE to use it.

She's shunning responsibility for her actions. If it hadn't been invented, she couldn't have taken it to regret it. So it's everyone else's fault.
