I flipped through some of Josh's pictures. They are quite revealing of his beliefs.

Yep, love the "American Communist Lawyers Union" (I guess he doesn't realize they'd help him out if he needed it!) and "I still like Herman" ones.

I think that blue shirt is her "go to" shirt. I'm pretty sure she wore it to the book signing I went to as well.

Which is weird. Surely she has something more... conservative? Bright colors at funerals are generally frowned upon, though white tops are acceptable, from my limited experience with funerals.

Well, a friend's memorial service a few years ago called for jeans, flip-flops, and obnoxiously-colored nail polish, but that's what she would have wanted, and it wasn't really a funeral. But in this case... no. Just no. J'chelle is teh crayzee.

As for Joshie... His comment is somewhere along the "I just took a massive shit" spectrum rather than the "I had a sandwich" end. He'd be really excited about the sandwich.

LOL. But something tells me he'd be really excited about the shit, too. That's what passes for a real accomplishment in Josh's world.

Whoa, I didn't see the ACLU one. I did notice the Herman Cain ones, and the one of Planned Parenthood in Dallas labeled "What a tragedy". That he actually knows where it is and bothered to take a picture - while driving by on his way from the airport - speaks to some serious political commitment.

He also seems to have gone on a tour of small Arkansas towns recently. Also political?

 Go look at his Instagram page that was just linked. He has a picture up with the caption "Watching people work... It's what I do best!" Yeah no crap, dingus, you even do it when your wife is in labor!

They could've done a better job setting up the grave. I mean a wooden board and a pulled back mat. Really? I've burred cats with nicer graves.

I'm glad Josh took that pic of the 'real' JB&M.

edited for clarity

The grave looks the same as any funeral I've been to (at least five come to mind immediately) except much smaller. I don't see anything weird about it, tbh.

Of course, when you eat like he does, that probably IS a real accomplishment.

you want surreal? Look at Josh's pics while listening to Alice Cooper's No More Mr. Nice Guy. Use the You Tube 1973 performance, where he keeps hanging oversized insects on his longjohns where his erection is poking out. Cut back and forth.

I think it's time for bed.

Lord knows I'm no fan of the Duggars but I think we are looking at a not-too-bright, very unsophisticated family that is being manipulated by the producers of "n kids and counting". Even I, with a heart as black as the dirt under Satan's toenails, am not cynical enough to believe they would have held this funeral for a fetus if they hadn't been talked into it by the producers. I think/hope that at least someone in that family will one day have the self-awareness to look back on these years in horror.

Maybe. But they've willingly sold themselves to TLC. It's an extension of the the "Happy is the only acceptable emotion"/Happy-shiny-ppl-for-GothardJesus crap that they've willingly subscribed to. (And you need to be pretty unsophisticated if you don't realise the implications of forcing that sort of upbringing on your kids.)

I want to know how they would have handled the death of one of the J1-19s. Would we have had an open casket? Death portraits? Closeups of their hands or feet? Somehow I doubt it. And I get the impression that there would be no sympathy among the Duggars for the cultures where this is normal.

I hope you're right, i really do, and sadly, i don't think they know that they're being taken for such a ride.

That is one of the tactless things I have ever seen. I hope that this is THE END. I cannot believe this. Don't share those pictures. We have pictures from funerals because it is one of the few times that the whole family has been there. The pics are sad and I do feel for the children that are in the situation. And TMZ knows how fed up this is! I feel I'm in more mourning over my dog then these people are.

These people are fucking nuts. Its time TLC pulled the plug on The Duggars Show. Michelle lost it a long time ago and I think after having several children she suffered some kind of breakdown and she became even more goofy. Come on, she just lost a baby and she and the fam are up ON STAGE at their FUndie Church with shitty ass grins on their faces ( maybe they just got through singing that " Blood" song they always sing) like they were at a fucking rodeo. The whole damn family is disturbed but Boob and J-chelle they are the nuttiest . The Duggars have finally gone over the edge and this stunt will either make or break them and their tv show and I am betting on break.

Haven't read the entire thread yet, but...

- I think the casket is UNDER the black frame - that looks like a frame with a pic or something. If you look super close, it looks like there's a closed dark box under that, on a trestle, flanked by urns of flowers. I'd imagine that's why Jim Knob and J'Uterus are standing there.

- Holy hell, Josh. PLEASE book that physical and lay off the chickenetti.

- They're smiling because Jubilee has been Raptured. That's always a reason to smile for fundies.

- I actually like the pics of the feet and hand, but I'm used to seeing pics like that.

- Maybe Michelle's doc gave her some sweet painkillers. Maybe that plus the normal Kool-Aid is the reason for the huge, toothy grin.

At least Michelle graduated from wearing that godawful green shirt she had for the first 3 years of the show. Every single episode and special announcement. I was beginning to think she didnt own anything else.

True enough. And I'm not a mother.. but I feel like if I was, and I had a preemie that was as delicate as Josie, that child would not leave my general vicinity for a loooooong time.

Well I am a mom, and I had a difficult pregnancy that ended in a birth at 36 weeks and I still can't forget it and love on her all I can. So yes, I'd be toting Josie everywhere for a long, long time.

Whoever their public relations person is, they want to give them the boot. Even if they were too dumb to know releasing those pictures, let alone having a private memorial for 1000 of their 'closest friends and family' while smiling on stage, a good public relations manager would tell them that this was a no-no.

I've spoken here of my daughter plenty of times. Well I don't know if I ever told you all, but she was a twin. Her sister, R, died at age 6 hours. My girls were born at 26 weeks, a similar gestation to Josie. R was the smaller twin and died after 6 hours. Despite having my surviving daughter, it took me a VERY long time to smile. Don't get me wrong I cherish L, I cherish her early days even though they were so, so hard. And yes, I was happy, but I was sad too. I do know one thing though, there was no way I could have smiled through a PUBLIC, or even private memorial service for R.

We had a small, private family funeral for her and it was the hardest thing that I have ever done in my entire life.

I've said it before, the Duggars make me sick, but this time they have more than any other time.

I'm sorry. That must have been so hard.

Mah boo Michael K at dlisted.com has said it all, again.

http://dlisted.com/2011/12/14/so-duggar ... rial-today

Sometimes you just have to sit back and type ........ and this is one of those times. Michelle Duggar recently miscarried a 5-month-old fetus she named Jubilee Shalom Duggar (that name, I know...) and the entire family held a memorial for her at their church in Arkansas today. During the memorial, they handed out professionally taken photos of Jubilee's hand and feets with the note "There is no foot too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world" printed on top. The pictures from the memorial were posted by a family member on Twitter and now they're on TMZ. Yes, we're still living in a world where absolutely nothing is sacred.

The pictures really aren't that graphic and I'm sure you'll see them when TLC airs a 2-hour special about this. I've seen pictures of women holding their dressed up miscarried babies while the entire family is smiling. Some might say it's tacky as hell, some might say it's creepy as hell, but I've always said that you grieve how you grieve and I'll grieve how I grieve. And yes, I grieve by shoving my face into a sheet cake until I'm too bloated to feel emotions anymore. But the thing that really gets me is that church. That's not a church, that's a Las Vegas casino! I know I see Wayne Newton back there. They have fancy ass lights and LED screens and shit. It's like if Jesus was new money. I mean, don't have some homeless people to feed?

I seriously love Michael K. "It's like if Jesus was new money." And "You grieve how you grieve..."

Michael K: The tacky blogger with more class in the dirt under his pinky nail than a certain couple will ever hope to have.

Does it bother anyone else that "Just burried my lil sis" has about as much emotion to it as "Just had a ham sandwich"? If you want us to believe that this is about more than just publicity, try a little bit of tact...hell, pretend you can empathize... I hope he was a little kinder when Anna miscarried...

Yes, completely agree.
