Also putting the theory to rest “If you play with “it”, “it” will fall off!” New scare tactic needed for parents trying to stop masturbation.

Pompei as a general rule can work as a punishment warning about what god does to fornicators, but there are a lot of eye traps along the way! Not a place I expect virgin fundie males to feel very comfortable…

Also I'm sure if that was true, a lot of gender-dysphoric transwomen would have wanked themselves half way to a bottom surgery to circumvent the waiting list at gender clinics

Ee-gads, Mrs.Ms! That looks….bizarre. It’s funny that the arms are broken off but not that thing, as if it were intentionally made of a more nondestructive material so the statue is not robbed of its manhood. Lol.

It's kind of strange that the foreskin isn't retracted despite the guy's state but phimosis is a thing. I'm more surprised his scrotum wasn't sized to match. The lighting adds to the effect that the penis doesn't really go with the rest of the statue.

Very NSFW example hopefully behind the spoiler. Definitely not an angle that I would necessarily have thought to take a photo from…

I bet no matter where you move to in the room, it’s always pointing at you.

It's probably the god Priapus, who was a fertility god. In antiquity, of the male genitalia, the phallus itself was always the symbol of fertility, while the scrotum was usually ignored, as it wasn't seen to part of the procreative act. It was also seen is unattractive.

Does the bottom zip off so you can make a short skirt?

The hennaed hand is a clue that they are marketing this to conservative Muslim and Hindu women.

I noticed that too. I’ll show it to my Muslim coworker tomorrow and see what she thinks. She plays pickle ball and her daughter plays high school tennis, but I don’t think either would be seen in that skirt. I think they wear leggings and longer shirts or tunic type tops. My friend also goes to a Muslim women only workout class and she told me that’s what she wears there. She did get a Muslim modest swim outfit last year for their vacation to LA.

No, what looks like it could be a zipper section to shorten the skirt is actually a vent to allow more airflow.

I’d wear it. It looks comfortable, machine washable, and durable.

I don’t have any henna art on my person, currently , but I have a preschool aged grandson who would be happy to doodle some awesome art on my arms or hands if I asked.

I wouldn’t like a long skirt like when I’m being athletic. I would prefer a shorter skirt.

Did anyone watch Joy’s Q&A type video with the unmarried sisters?  Joy had a bunch of conversation starter type cards that they took turns answering. It was interesting seeing the little girls a bit more grown up. Johannah was basically a Jessa clone in voice, appearance and mannerisms. Jenny still loves farm animals and had a little lamb sleeping on her feet. She’s interested in possibly getting a micro mini cow.  One of the questions was “What TV family reminds you of your family?” I think it was Jenny who said the Bates family. It was kind of funny. Several times Joy called Jana “Jan” which I don’t think I’ve heard before.

What I observed in the video that really stood out was that Josie didn't read her own questions. Joy read them for her. I'm wondering if there's a LD involved, possibly dyslexia?

Maybe Josie hasn't any  learning difficulty and just wasn't interested in the game, but I wouldn't be surprised if she had some difficulties that have been never addressed. It's usual micro preemies have health issues for years and also learning difficulties (not all of them, of course). Josie was a micro preemie homeschooled by some random no-teachers (Jessa, Ben?, some fundie tutor?). None of that people had  a clue about learning difficulties. Many delays/problems can be fixed in preschool or primary school!. But Duggar children hadn't that oportunity, which is neglect. I'm not saying it's Josie's case, but out of 19 children, there are some with leaning difficulties for sure.

Perhaps Josie just wanted it to seem as if she were being interviewed.. so someone else would ask the questions.

This is my guess. If she struggles to read they could easily have gone over the question ahead of time with her to make it seem as though she's a fluent reader. But she, more than some of the other younger children who didn't get special attention, may miss the extra attention a film crew brought.

The questions were randomly chosen from four piles of cards.

What DOES she wear to women only work out classes? Inquiring minds want to know! I assume that even women who dress modestly in public still dress modestly when among other women or at home. But I also don't think my leggings and longish tshirt are all that immodest? Curious.

Way back when they did say that Josie saw specialists for a few things. I don’t know if leaning difficulties were among them. They also at one point stated that a couple of kids had dyslexia or adhd or something and they had some kind of specialist help for that. I don’t recall the details though. Just remember being interested because some of my kids have had similar issues. No idea if Josie can’t read, or if she’s just a typical young teen who got bored or didn’t feel like participating in the first place. Back when the show was still on she did seem to struggle with paying attention during the filmed planned activities and talking heads, but maybe she just didn’t give a F about Jana’s art project or pretending she didn’t know anything about pop culture.

I think Josie is just spoiled in a way none of the other kids have been.

I hope you guys are right. But being a micro premie, the possibility of LDs definitely exist.

Unfortunately, having LDs is not any big deal in Duggarville. Beyond birthing a bunch of kids, what other  aspirations does Josie really have? Maybe she’ll be Jana 2, a matching set.
