Glad I’m alone as my husband is at work. This morning at 6:00 he asked me if I wanted to go for an early walk with the dogs. Knowing that court started at 7:30 my time, I jumped up and got that walk done.  Yes, I am a loser letting the sentencing affect my daily schedule.

20 years isn't enough, life is, but the law is the law. It could have been 5.

Considering the minimum could have been 5 years, I think 12,5 years is a significant sign that the judge sees his actions as very severe.

I will take 12.5. I would have loved more but:

A. J&A most likely won't have any more blessings

B. It's enough for Anna to have to legit figure something out 

C. Madisyn will be about 12 when he is released.

 I wonder if in 12 and a half years we will be gathered back together to discuss his release from prison. I wish he got the full 20, but this is good news.

I was hoping for at least 12! I was so worried it would only be 8 or even 5. 
 

It’s not enough, but it’s at least more than I had hoped for!

I wish it would have been more but I honestly feared it was going to be less. I will accept 12.5 simply because it's 7.5 more years than Joshy boy's attorneys wanted. He is not only being punished, he had zero say in anything and that is worth the years in gold to me. It probably hurt him more than the sentence itself.

On federal prison he will serve 85% of his time (generally). So 10 years 8 months
