Someone on reddit theorizing that the jury came to a decision last night but decided to sleep on it. Makes sense to me. It was very quick this morning only about 90 minutes deliberating.

The jury just needed to take a step back on this one, and the truth was crystal clear.

A man with a history of child sexual abuse, lying and violent sexual abuse, who never faced consequences. Has been into computers and tech from a young age. Was present in the shop every time CSA material was downloaded and viewed. Hired a defense expert whose job it is to defend pedophiles by confusing people with techy jargon. There was no credible motive for hacking taking place. 

This was a slam dunk. Well-done jury!

I would hate to be on that jury. Because I think I would have a very hard time being impartial just due to the nature of the crime. So I could see the jury wanting to take the night and make sure it wasn't a snap decision.

Well sentencing may take a while, but at least he's going to be in custody for it?

I think they'll be worried Josh could be another Mark Salling.

After a guilty verdict, his mental state is going to plummet and he has nothing to loose (and nothing to gain for behaving).  His risk to others and himself, changed 10mins ago (when the verdict was read).

Edit: No, I was wrong, they're not worried about that, but the judge says detention is mandatory due to the offenses.
