She stayed, she's complicit.  I give no fucks for Anna but my heart breaks for the kids.  I am sure all of the adults in their lives are freaking the fuck out right now and chaos sucks for them.

She was about to give birth when he was arrested. And she appears to live in her own house now but it may still be on the family compound.

Unfortunately, considering Josh's history, I wouldn't be that surprised if his preferred pornographic material was deviant like this.

Absolutely on the mark.  Given what he was raised in and his past behavior, Josh definitely shows that he has a very warped view of sexuality and it’s led him to some very dark places.  He comes from a belief system that treats sexuality in general as something shameful and dirty.  He most likely needs therapy (actual, professional therapy based in science and research, not “Christian counseling”) to understand why he’s acted out in such destructive ways (destructive to those girls, as well as destructive to his marriage in the cheating scandal and porn addiction), but because of his belief system, he’s not getting that therapy.

And you’re also on the mark on making sure that we talk to any young people who may be curious about viewing online porn about the possible consequences of doing so.  It would be an informed conversation without attacking the person’s sexuality or making it shameful.  Just like anything on the internet, you have to be conscious and careful about what you share and what you download.

To my understanding, she had the 8th child with her husband around the time of his arrest. They don’t have further children together.

I guess they knew the arrest was coming then so they announced the pregnancy before. I feel really bad for Anna because if he goes to jail she is left with 6 (soon 7) kids on her own basically. 

Must be serious for no bail. Would they deny bail for tax evasion?

It’s his. I believe she gave birth right before he was arrested. We’ve seen nothing about her dating since the divorce.

Agree as well.   My cousins hone was raided along with the guy across the street.   Across the street guy got shot because he came out of the shower with a towel on after hearing the rukus.  He had to hold his towel together because he's a big guy and they thought he had a gun.  He didn't and his 12 yr old  daughter was home sick from school,  bullet went into her bedroom.  Thankfully ok but massive law suit.  They arrested my cousin in front of his 7 yr old granddaughter and it seemed intentional.  I was there. My cousin bought some coke off next door guy and got caught in surveillance.  Not ok but, still.  Next door guy only sold to friends.  It was a huge operation for not much plus, massive lawsuits.

I don’t believe she’s on her own like most other women would be. She will just move into the big house like last time. Hannie, Jordyn, and Jenny will all help her and JB will pay for everything if she stands by her man.

Anna has been brainwashed from birth. I know she stayed with him when she absolutely shouldn't have, but she's a victim. First of her parents, now of the family/cult she married into when she was just a girl. My belief is that she truly sees no way out. Anyone who believes they must forgive *no matter what* is someone without boundaries, someone exceptionally vulnerable. She's something of a child herself. I pity her tremendously.

unfortunately, depending on what exactly it is, that's probably what will happen. i dread to think the passive aggressive dressing down she may get behind the scenes. but she chooses to stay so far, so i really don't have much sympathy for her.

And you know the Bates family is collectively shredding every document related to Medic Corps as we speak. 

I don't like Anna, but I seriously hope someone is staying with her tonight.  This could send a person over the edge. 

 

[Side Note:  My kids could not be more needy tonight (not serious needy, but like "Where's my shoes?  Can you make popcorn?  Tell [the other kid ] to share with me!")

And 10 minutes ago I saw this for the first time, and told them they could build a fort in my bedroom, stay up 30 minutes past bedtime, watch TV and eat marshmallows if they let me "get some work done" in the office. ]

I hope it’s something boring but serious. However, I could see Josh committing any of the speculated crimes. Whatever it is, the Feds don’t mess around. It’s got to be a serious offense, and they’ve got to have solid evidence against him.
