That honestly would not surprise me.  When the cheating scandal broke, he did admit to having a porn addiction.  But child porn would be a new level of disgusting.  Honestly, the only thing more unforgivable in society than possessing or making child porn is murder.

I do feel sorry for his kids.  They never asked for any of this.  They never asked to be raised in such a harmful belief system, and they never asked for all this attention on their family.  Josh has no one to blame but himself for his troubles.

It's possible that if he has a porn addiction, he's indiscriminately downloading batch files and some of them had illegal images buried within. You don't necessarily have to be seeking that shit out to end up being arrested for possessing it. It's particularly risky if you're addicted and compulsively clicking link after link. Searching for certain types of legal pornography makes it more likely that you'll end up with illegal stuff, too. I'm sure you can imagine the kind of ethically questionable but technically legal categories I'm referring to.

Considering his history, I think it's extremely unlikely that something like this happened, but it's the best case scenario.

Even if this is the case and it can be proven that he never even opened them, he can (and likely will) be prosecuted. Merely having them in your computer's cached or deleted files is a prosecutable offense. People don't know this, and often don't really understand that it's pretty risky to download certain types of porn, especially in a batched file, and they also don't know that you do not have to have viewed an image to be prosecuted for possessing it. It's an uncomfortable thing to talk about, but if I had a teen boy in my life who was likely to be curious about browsing pornographic material on the internet, I'd probably have a very frank conversation about all of this, because possession of child pornography is one of those charges that destroys your life even if you are innocent.

Unfortunately, considering Josh's history, I wouldn't be that surprised if his preferred pornographic material was deviant like this.

Yes, you’re right, she *can* leave, but she never will.  Whether it’s because she enjoys the free food and lodging or just knows no different, I don’t know.  She is so ill equipped to try to do life on her own.

FLDS women escape all the time and make a success. look at warren jeff's daughter. There are charitys set up for FLDS women I am sure Anna would qualify for some  kind of escaping a cult charity.
