I just told all of this to my lawyer-husband (who doesn't follow the Duggars at all except for what I tell him. ?).  He said that the "no bail" part is what stands out to him.  "Either no bail because he's considered a flight risk for a medium level crime or no bail because it is an extreme crime and it doesn't matter whether he is a flight risk or not".

If the charges are child pornography (if the rumors are true) then I hope there would be enough decency for her to divorce him just for the sake of saving face. Her family already has two divorces so she would not be an outcast.

It's no bail because he's just in jail waiting to be transferred to another law enforcement agency.

Hmmm... flight risk? Does anyone know if there are any pilots in the family?

She's not like her other siblings who left.  She's embraces being a Duggar....she'll deny, she'll "pray," and enjoy the headpats for being the martyred wife.

Unfortunately, very likely true but at least that stops the baby train (kinda like the Alan Smith/Morton case) no more children will have to suffer.

I f**king HOPE it's financially related, because if whatever it is was related to the raid in 2019 then you'd damn well hope there's no evidence that would suggest it's been unsafe for him to be in a house with minors for the past 18 months while they built their case.

There was a murder case in my home town several years back (when I still lived there). The entire family was bludgeoned to death - mother, father, two young boys and an aunt who lived with them. It was horrific, and a huge shock to the community. They also had a teenage daughter who was away on a school trip at the time, and came home to find her whole family gone. She went to stay with an uncle, and a full year and a half later, he was arrested for the murders. Apparently the police had suspected him from early on, but didn't want to tip him off while they built their case so they didn't prevent him from taking custody of the remaining daughter. Turned out that in addition to the financial motive, he had been molesting her  I cannot even begin to imagine the trauma that poor girl has been through.

I read somewhere that the mug shot of Josh is an old one. Not sure what other offense this could pertain to though. He looks drunk, stoned or both in that mug shot in any case.
