Ok it's a boy then . No way she'll allow an uncensored  "it's another girl "disappointment face .

That was my first thought too. She already knows her fetus has a penis so they are having a party to celebrate. Just like Alyssa & Sam did with their boy after 3 girls and no great reveal celebration for any of them.

Generally I'd agree with you, but this was on her latest IG post:

"Just left my doctors office. I got to see the baby, hear the heartbeat AND I got the gender sealed in an envelope ✉️ Not gonna lie... I was definitely tempted to take a little peak."

I don't know enough about her to make a guess as to whether she's lying or not.

Call me a conspiracy theorist but i think they definitely did a gender reveal already. you can't convince me this IG isn't from a sex reveal. Blue and pink clothes, shocked kid faces, and no explanation what they are looking at or reacting to.

At least they have Tori that for now has had only boys. What is the boy/girl ratio for them? I think lately they are having all girls expect for Tori. The only other boys I can think to is Carson and Bradley, did I'm missing someone?

I think it is 11 girls and 4 boys... Unless I am missing some? Carson, Bradley and Tori's boys then Zach has 2 girls, Erin has 3, Josie has 1, Carlin has 1 and Alyssa's soon to be 4.

I haven't realized till now that the Bates at the moment are only 5 grands shy of the Duggar who has had many years more for processing and more kids married. Kelly must be putting some pressure on the boys too to catch up and give her some other grandkids to gush over since the 4 Webster's will be too far in Florida

Yes the Duggar’s are pretty even.

At one point the Duggars had way more boys than girls. But then they had like 6 girls in a row and it evened out. The Bateses haven’t evened out yet. They probably will eventually become more even.

It is likely, Then again, I have 34 first cousins. There are 30 guys and 5 ladies. My two sisters and I were the only girls growing up. My two female first cousins weren't born until the three of us were in our late teens/early 20's.

Ah, this made me sort out my cousins. ? I've never thought in terms boy v girls. First cousins are 12 girls and 7 boys; the next generation is 22 girls & 16 boys; third generation is just beginning to have their kids--we are currently at 14 each girls and boys but far away from that generation being done having kids. So we are a little girl heavy in our family. And there is only one boy to carry on my grandfather's last name; all the other boys have been born to women in the family.

My maternal grandparents have 6 granddaughters and 5 grandsons while my paternal grandparents have 8 granddaughters and 6 grandsons. So we are fairly even in my family.

I just counted the great grandchildren of my paternal grandparents and they have 13 grandsons and 12 granddaughters. My maternal grandparents have 8 great granddaughters and 9 great grandsons.

We are a bunch of even Stevens.

Yeah, all on my dad's side. I have no cousins on my mother's side.  My dad is one of 7. And I actually miscounted, I have 32 male cousins and 2 female. I just counted the girls and subtracted, forgetting that i have 2 siblings. ? My dad is one of 7, 1 brother and 5 sisters. My younger cousins are the same age as my own children so I have to think hard sometimes which ones are my cousins and which ones are the children of my cousins.

Wow. My mother was an only child. I’ve had so many issues with the 2 cousins I have I’m glad I don’t have more.

I am very lucky, we all get along very well. The ones closest in age to me are more like siblings than cousins and we all spent a lot of time together, went to the same schools... I don't really know the younger ones, aside from social media posts and stuff. But my daughter is almost 17 and my youngest cousin just turned 18 and they talk pretty frequently.

I went to school with some of my cousins too. And one of my best friends is a cousin. We are pretty similar in age and always had a lot of fun together. Now their kids are similar in age to my kids and those kids all like to play together too. Almost everyone in my family has at least one kid. We are kind of like fundies. We don’t have giant families, but no one seems to go child free in my family.

That’s really sweet. My mother has a large extended family. We call everyone cousin even though we are like 3rd or 4th. We even refer to the spouse as cousin. But we rarely saw one another expect at family events (funerals or Bar/Bat Mitzvahs were mostly Jewish).

I'm one of 28 on my paternal side and there are 3 girls and 25 boys. In the next generation (so children of my first cousins and siblings), there are currently 13 boys and 3 girls. My Dad and his siblings were even with 4 boys, 4 girls, but only 3 of my grandparents' sons made it to adulthood. My Aunts always say that my grandfather favored his "precious boys who can do no wrong" but with his grandchildren, it was all about his "precious angelic girls who can do no wrong." ?? I roll my eyes because I don't particularly agree with that but jeez they can go on with the comments that just pass as sarcastic but have a bite to them. My grandfather's twin sister had 2 girls, 2 boys, but had 9 grandsons and 1 granddaughter, so her granddaughter gets bunched in with my first cousins and I and we're just referred to collectively as "the girls" to most of my extended family.

Yeah, my family is pretty fundie like, though without the Jesus part. But most of the people in my family married fairly young and most have big families. I have one childless cousin over 30 but that isn't by choice he and his wife have been trying for a baby for years and are now looking into adoption. When my husband and I got married we had about 40 kids under 10 at the wedding. His best man made a comment about our wedding being a great advertisement for birth control. ??

In my family there are 4 grandchildren both on my mother side and my father's. On both sides there are 2 boys and 2 girls and I am the third born (and youngest female) in both cases ?

I have about 70 first cousins. I think we skew slightly towards female majority. Both my parents came from female majority households.

My siblings and I have 6 kids between us. All boys. And they each have a maximum of 7 cousins. Times have changed.

I love baseball but I'm dreading the new season because the White Sox ownership is THE FUCKING WORST. I watched Dominican League Baseball (Lidom!) over the winter and fell in love with their joy, spirit, and exuberance. The broadcasts were in Spanish and my Spanish is pretty weak but I loved catching phrases and repeating them. Bombe! I'm sad about MLB and Commissioner Idiota's busywork rules. But I love baseball, always and forever.
I guess I don't have a point. Just bitching. Te amo mucho, Lidom!

      Happy International Women's Day!

Humanity may have some work to do, to improve gender equality, but I was glad to hear that France has taken an important step to protect healthcare for women (and people of other genders who can get pregnant).

Feeling ragey this morning. I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon in the hope of getting help for an ongoing injury. I went to a (different!!) doctor late last year who completely blew me off. He wouldn't do diagnostic testin, he refused to send me to a specialist, and he just told me to "take it easy" and "take ibuprofen." I'm hopeful for today's appointment but I'm also feeling a SEVERE amount of rage at that doctor from last year!

Well, the rash is back with a vengeance. It never completely cleared up. I saw the derm yesterday and they did another swab and yup, raging infection again, still? It is definitely strep skin infection. I am getting so damn tired and run down from this. Who the f would immagine being hospitalized freaking TWICE for a rash?

My niece is going to be a seat filler at this year's Academy Awards.  Seat fillers are asked to wear tuxedos regardless of sex/gender.  If you see a pretty young woman with very curly hair, it could be my niece.

It’s not supposed to be mosquito season right now but I still appear to have been bitten twice on the side of my foot. Bastards. I know I shouldn’t scratch but it’s so tempting… 😑
