What's wrong with Kirsten? Does she think her friends and family are gonna go: "Omg Crystal, you completely butchered the spelling of your child's name, you are so, so cool!!!" Also, her two older daughters are called Kathrynne and Kaitlynn, and Caitlin is a form of Catherine, so basically you called both of your kids Catherine. Well done. There is a gazillion K-names out there, with equally great prospects for misspelling and slapping a couple of Ys in there, so why choose the same name twice? 

And if her kids have such misspelled names, why doesn't Crystal go by Krystyll?

What was wrong with Katherine, I personally prefer it spelled with a C but Katherine is a common spelling and looks so much better than Kathrynne. Yes Caitlin, Catherine and Kathleen are all variants of the same name.

Caroline was one of my gateway fundies... The family has had financial problems for years, so I’m not surprised that they‘re struggling, especially in these extraordinary circumstances. But I can’t believe they’re framing their future homelessness with 7 1/2 kids in an RV as some sort of „adventure“.

Good grief. My favorite aspect of this post is probably the juxtaposition of the ending ("we will still be earning enough to support our family of almost 10 by selling Lilla Rose, Young Living, and Freelance graphic design while living in an RV on our in-laws land") and the first comment response ("sorry, I don't have any suggestions on how your friend can support her family of 7 from home").

I feel sorry for the mother in law. I have a feeling those kids will be at grandma’s house a lot. Where would you prefer to spend your days? In a house or an RV?

Even Kathryn is a common and accepted spelling, although my least favorite and kind of dated now. But the extra -ne sure doesn't increase its appeal.

I think most mothers/grandmothers would be okay to help out in this way for a period of time if their kid fell on tough financial times and they had the ability to do so. However, I reckon their welcome will wear out real quick if they keep popping out more kids they can't support while living out an RV on their property with their already 7, soon to be 8, children.

I wish I was still naive enough to assume that their wouldn't be a lot of baby-making while living in an RV with so many children, but John Shrader sure didn't let a pop-up camper slow down his spawning of arrows for his quiver. ?

Oof. Caroline hustles so hard at her various MLMs, while her husband the “pastor” is now a “graphic designer”.

Their family would be SO much better off embracing her gifts at communications and sales by letting her get a real job. Also birth control. But watch her attribute this (clearly unwanted) pregnancy to a Young Living oil she can sell you...

I’m surprised she had a Homebirth. Her birth stories are fascinating. 
 

Married in July 2014

1st. (June 2015) Homebirth with no mayor complications 

2nd. (June 2016) C-section because of breech baby

3rd. (January 2018) Hospital Vbac after a severe case of the flu. She also had a broken rib from coughing so much. 

4th. (March 2019) Hospital Vaginal breech delivery (in the OR)

5th. (April 2020) Homebirth again- I’m curious about the detailed birth story. I hope she posts in on her blog someday.

What are all the kiddos names? Mathilda Kate is lovely, although I'd prefer Matilda. It's one of my favorites, definitely very high on my list of names I'd consider for a real life child of my own.

I can't even imagine 5 kids by 23. At 23, I had 3 foster sons under 7 (and had had a stillborn daughter) and I look back at that period of time now and I have no idea how I did it but I know I could not have coped with more. I was run ragged.

Braun Erichson  . Poor kid . I assume it's a boy  but why name him Brown  son of Erich .
