I dont know what to think.  On one hand its interesting that they havent provided discovery, but on the other hand I wonder if the motion to compel is being filed so that the public THINKS they arent complying with discovery, but they are really withholding because they want the information sealed.  It truly appears that they are backing her into a corner with respect to the dates and I hope, for her sake, she is able to provide them accurately.  If he truly was elsewhere then this will end quite badly for her.

And if so, deservedly. I have no time for Josh, but neither have I time for people trying to capitalise on a public scandal. If she is lying, she has heaped more humiliation on Anna, who truly does not deserve it.

I don't like Josh and would never dream of defending his actions, but I also am not okay with the idea that someone is falsely accusing him of something so serious.

The day joshley Madison hit, I searched a popular bdsm website for him and found a profile with the same likes listed and another with a fake pic located in the same area. If he was on there, it wouldn't surprise me about him getting rough. Also with a longtime porn addicition,  I'm sure he's not into just your basic boy-girl romp.

Or he is into something different from missionary married sex, which is not necessarily pathological, but which in his environment turned him into a fucking lying, cheating, victimizing monster.  It's gross.  And sad.

What Vienna said. That's the most annoying part of the sister's claim. Which I can't say I believe. If you're going to stalk some reality TV star, why would you land on Josh Duggar of all people? Do we even know if she followed him on social media prior to this or if at all? 

And that's another thing that rubbed me the wrong way about what Joshley's lawyer said. "post on Twitter/IG that my client didn't do this." He's SO concerned about his social media presence. I suppose it makes sense to want your accuser to publicly admit they're wrong, but something about the way that was presented just bothered me.

It didn't bother me, it makes sense she publicly accused him of something, its important to him that the accusation be removed.  I'm not saying he will get it, but I understand asking.

Makes sense to me.  If it turns out that it's not true asking that it be retracted in the same place the original incorrect info was disseminated is only fair.

First of all, personally I give her the benift of the doubt.  Why should she not deserve it (over Josh!)? Also I rather be wrongly on her side than beeing false in not believing her.

Be this as it may, I just read through the latest court documents.

Let's assume her claims are true but that she got the explicit date of her encounter with Josh wrong. Has the case to get dismissed then (because of the wrong dates)? If so, it would make sense not to show the evidence they have if the plan is to fill another suit with the right dates ( if this is even possible). Us lawyers here; what are the options if you got the dates wrong? But either way, if this is the case I would not give away my evidence for a lost cause and think about a new strategy.

At this point you could probably amend the complaint to fix the date.  There would come a point when you would have to refile.  Most cases say on or about, so if you were close you may not even amend, but I think most lawyers would, as it looks bad to have it wrong and frankly makes the rest of what your client has to say less reliable, particularly in a he said she said case.

She gave date ranges (aka the 3-4 days around when she had a show). If she had the dates wrong then she probably had the place wrong too (because I don't think those were clubs that she is a regular at. I might be wrong though). That would look pretty bad


I wonder how much of scandal 1 may have contributed to the alleged emotional damage. I can totally understand not going public until scandal #2 hit but part of me wonders if she would have gone public if only scandal #2 hit and not scandal #1

I hope someone is telling Anna about the bubble baths for two.  That is something she can provide within godly Gothardism and she might even enjoy it.  (Though someone should warn her to drink a lot of water and pee a lot after intercouse.  Bubble baths and sex both increase the chances of UTIs.)

If she really was traumatized, why didn't Danica say anything/sue right away long before all the cheating douchey-ness was revealed?

Bigger issue to me is that she claimed she did him twice.

I kinda feel like she is trapping herself by having sex with him twice and then suing for emotional damages. I'm thinking it should be more like: Aggressively hump me once shame on you, aggressively hump me twice, shame on me...

Either she was desperate for the money so she went back for seconds, or she just had two crappy sex sessions and then saw an opportunity to hop on the "josh is d-bag" train and try for an extra $500,000 cash in addition to her 15 minutes of fame.

I don't know what to say to this except it is so, so wrong. With this type of reasoning it's no wonder most women don't report ever. 

Do you think Bill Cosby is guilty because many of the women accusing him now didn't come forward for DECADES. Many of them also continued to see him socially.

Believe Danica or not, but don't let these reasons be why you don't believe her.

I don't know if it would violate tos since its basically a Facebook for peoples porn. But look up toughguy88 on fetlife. That's the second account that was identical to the now deleted first one. Only two pictures. 3 friends and lots of activity since josh went to rehab whereas there was nothing really  previously aside from a post once every month or so.

That was several weeks or months ago, iirc. The account was active two weeks ago, and two months ago before that. This account posts requests for a redhead friend (with benefits) to have a beer and shoot pool. I'm not convinced it's Josh. The most recent request was looking for the above in Olathe, Kansas.

What Halcionne said.   I was going to reply as soon as I could scroll back and see the reference to this being verified.

@NotAnIncubator the only place this rumor keeps coming up in here and from you....if this were something people could have verified all the tabloids would have run with it.  Not because it was posted here, but because they were no doubt crawling all sites like this looking for a bigger story.

I'm really uncomfortable that this keeps getting brought up here with absolutely zero confirmation - repeating a rumor over and over doesn't make it true.
