I think that was my initial reaction for a few moments as well.

But here again, his parents' sheltering coupled with the fact that he didn't learn Internet Basics 101 at the school of the dining room table left him unprepared for the real world.  To him, the internet was a magic box that gave him what he wanted. He apparently had no idea it also gathered and stored everything he put in it and that others could possibly access that information. 

FRC hired Josh in part to reach out to fundie home schooled youth in order to educate them on the "political issues".   In Josh, they got exactly what they deserved.

I hadn't thought of this side of it before, but you are so right!  He probably had never heard the "Internet is forever" lesson.  It's deceivingly easy to feel anonymous online.  After all, no one could follow a paper trail, because there is no paper.  What could go wrong?

And too, back when Josh would've first started using the Internet (I'm guessing late 90s, possibly early 00s) it was way easier to be anonymous online than it is now. At least, from what I remember.

It wouldn't surprise me (nothing would surprise me anymore with regard to Josh or the Duggars, really) if he was out of rehab; that he indeed came home on one of those flights from Rockford.

But the hairline could be anyone's receding hairline ... a Duggar man-child or non-Duggar, or Joshley himself.  

I do believe, though, that if he is out in public (even among "friends" and the leg humping public) that someone would snap a pic of him and send it to the tabloids.

So funny that the pic was cropped; always wonder if Pickles does that on purpose to create a stir?

its really odd to me that some people are out there with heavy winter coats and even scarfs and then others only have a light sweater or jacket on. i went out this morning with a jacket, a coat over that, hat, gloves, scarf and two pairs of pants LOL

On January 21 the Josh-Trail will continue and in February he is supposed to be healed from all of his sins and allowed to come home. Looking forward to news and how Josh will spin it.

Bad news for those hoping for a conviction of Josh (if it is true).

That article makes it sounds like the Duggars either paid the sister to say that stuff so Josh wouldn't look so awful, or she's saying it to get HER 15 minutes of fame. Why would a porn star follow a nobody fundie around the country if she's looking for fame? Why not Brad Pitt, or, if she's looking to mess up a conservative guy's reputation, Tim Tebow? Why not a politician? No one cared about Josh before this, and no one cares now... It doesn't add up.

Ahh this is my first post on FJ!

But I agree, how could she have foreseen the shit show that would follow sleeping with Josh since it only happened after the Ashley Madison leak? I don't know that I think the Duggars paid her to speak out, but I could see someone wanting their own 15 minutes.
