Gotta think of it from the Duggar point of view.  They are on the tv and internet to save us sinners and bring us into the IBLP fold.  If everyone ditched their tv's and had Dugger like restrictions on the internet, then they would still be "wholesome" and have a lot more viewers.  If we all had 20 kids though, none of us would have time to be on the internet nor watch tv.

That´s the first time I see a really good explanation for Josh´s extremely poor decision-making. Maybe he quite simply followed his father´s example, never even once taking the time for reflecting on the possible consequences of his actions, but always just flipping a coin to become aware of God´s will...

Turns out that we should never have blamed poor Joshy for hooking up with Danica in the first place – after all, it was probably just that ebil coin that made him do it!

He was talking to the producers. They Grandpa Duggar what he thought about her having another baby. Not sure if it was Josie or Jubilee. But he said women weren't built for so many pregnancies & that at some point the should wear out; words to that affect.

I believe his name was Jim Bob too, not James Lee.

I agree. It's hard to tell with fundies, since they with their fucked-up ideology treat completely harmless stuff (like consensually making out with a girl/boy your age) and serious crimes (like molesting young girls) the same. So if a fundie talks about "serious transgressions" or anything like that, you have no idea how bad it really is until you know the whole story.

These articles are so poorly "researched".     For example, toward the end of the article there's this:  "The Duggar clan reportedly visited him in rehab last week but it is not known if he returned with them to Arkansas or stayed at the facility.   Anna's location is unknown, however it has been suggested that she has taken her four children to her parents' home in Florida."  

 

The bold is mine; Anna's location is not "unknown" at this point and it was ages ago now that she was in Florida, and I'm not sure if that was even verified.  But she is certainly in Arkansas now, as evidenced by multiple Instagram updates by various family members.   Sheesh.  

 

And the "clan" visiting Josh? Nope, the "clan" could not fit into the little Cirrus!  We do know JimBob (or RimJob - I'm going to call him that now, from the Duggar master thread) was in Milwaukee to support his buddy Huckabee at the "B-Team" Republican debate the day before the plane took off from Rockford, but that's all anyone knows for sure.   Jesus Christ on a cracker!

The other thing that struck me was this talk of the house being their "dream home."  Nonsense.  It was a fixer-upper which they bought because it was cheap.  They moved to it because there was no where else to go after Josh had to leave the DC job, not because they wanted to set roots in Arkansas.

And the line about pornography in Josh's public "confession" was removed for a while but it was put back in before he went to RU.
