I am not going to spend the next few hours reading how hospitals and doctors will magically appear with no state universities, no state-funded research, no elected politicians to administer these things, etc. If it really is a viable plan, you can sum it up or I will just assume it is bullshit.

Okay, I managed thanks to google to find an anarchist plan for health care on that site - not at the FAQs that fundylyte supplied, of course. It is full of fail, obviously written by someone who does not have even minimal knowledge of the medical system. An Initial Anarchist Agenda

Bottom line: arguably the most important thing government officials could do to reduce health care costs would be to get completely out of the way, to stop privileging favored elites and driving up prices. State functionaries could:

1. Stop offering protection to patents and copyrights. Those patents and copyrights and the competition to be the first to get one are the only reason anyone does research. This suggestion means no new drugs or treatments, pretty much ever.

2. Eliminate hospital accrediting and professional licensing rules, leaving a variety of flexible, competing market-based certification systems to do the job. Unaccredited and unlicensed personnel? LOL you can get that now. Just ask your neighbor for medical care instead of going to a doctor. :lol:

3. Limit malpractice awards to actual damages plus the costs of recovery (including reasonable legal fees). This is complicated and I kind of agree, but there are mitigating factors that make it not that simple.

4. Repeal regulations that prevent the sale of insurance across state lines and the prevent the operation of what amount to insurance schemes by health professionals. I agree with the first and I am not sure what the second clause even means. I don't know of any health professionals who are running health insurance schemes, so while it may exist, it is not really a problem in our current system.

5. Alter the tax code to de-link employment and insurance. (This change would have the potential to boost net taxes, of course, if it weren’t made in tandem with the tax cuts for which I’ve argued.) Socialized medicine? But then someone needs to administer it and then you will have STATE!!!

6. Replace the FDA approval process with alternative, voluntary private certification systems. Again, private approval means optional approval means no controls. I don't care to have my aspirin laced with arsenic.

7. Eliminate agricultural subsidies. Nothing to do with healthcare.

So that is the magic plan? Just take away licensing and let anyone do anything!

That was the only plan I could find at the website you linked and there was not anything in the FAQs about it. I agree that anarchism sounds great. If you have no knowledge of human nature or political systems, that is.
