J'Chelle hasn't done of that since the older girls were old enough to take over. She's checked out. J'Chelle knows nothing about Jordyn or any of the other kids, for that matter. J'Chelle is a pregnancy and baby addict.

Going back to the Parentables about the buddy system. J'chelle starts out saying that the older kids just jumped in and helped the littles when they saw there was a need. That's pretty normal.

Later in the article she mentions "buddy teams" but she doesn't say why the kids are put in teams. In doing this, she keeps the "buddy system" sounding like such a nice way to get the older sibs involved with the littles and just doing a good deed. Nothing on what all the "team" is responsible for and how she didn't have to do hardly anything with her babies once the teams were established and the new buddy was placed in a team. So to those on the outside, she looks like a great mom with great kids. :pull-hair:

The camera was a bad idea. My reasoning was so I could go back over it later and be able to word for word tell you guys what everyone said. I also had another friend who wanted to go but couldn't... so I was gonna show her later.

So then how did they know to escort you off the premises specifically? That is, if you don't think saying explaining it will cause legal issues.

She is my pick for John Davids future bride! Her name is Laura and she works for ATI and is really fun and cute. She has been to their house and traveled with JD to the CA conference on that bus. I've said all this before, but my prediction has yet to come true. Anyhoo.

I think we probably stand out like sore thumbs, fundie like attire or not. Obviously she came from a long distance . Perhaps the traveling companion gave you away inadvertently. Who knows? I think in future the less said about definite attendance in advance of one of these things the better to avoid problems. If they found out the real name how hard would it be to run a background check or find a picture somewhere. Such is the danger of the Internet.

Yeah, thats definetly Jana. She looks so happy, which is good to see, its very rare to see her smile like that. I guess going to Journey to the Heart is something she enjoys, even if it is Gothard brainwashing crap, she does get the opportunity to spend time with others her own age who are not her sisters and also not be around toddlers.

Jana is the one who goes regularly, but the others have been there a few times. I am guessing because she likes it and asks to go more, but maybe Jill is too busy delivering babies (I wonder who helps her with that when Jana isnt there?) and maybe the others arent so keen on it.

Also, I'm surprised miracle baby Josie wasn't in the video - shouldn't we see the result of ACH NICU's good work? Or would it become obvious that no one has bothered to take her to therapy after her NICU stay?

Maybe Jana is one of the group leaders and therefore is seen so often in the Journey pictures. Pecan Waller's older brother (Derek?) is often in the pics, too, but I don't think he is a "normal" participant, either. They both probably "work" at the Northwoods Center.

I read an article a few years ago that theorized about women and their hair. Apparently some women keep the same hairstyle they had when they met their husbands. This could explain why Michelle prefers her 80's hair.

I love the fact she talks about tying show laces and buckling kids car seats - I wouldn't have a problem if that was all the buddy system involved. It's knowing that the older girls get up at night to their younger siblings that bothers me.

Do we know that they actually do this? I haven't really kept up with the Duggars for awhile now, but I always thought that was just speculation.

Speak for yourself, please. If I were at an event and I had reason to believe someone was filming my children with a hidden camera, I would have them escorted off the premises, too. Imagine if this were flipped around: a fundie crashes a gay pride event and approaches the children of a gay couple to ask 'the tough questions' while wearing a spy pen to gather video and audio to report back to their fundie message board.

Are the parents bedroom on the same floor as the girls bedroom? Ughhh, I can't imagine having a crying baby or toddler in my bedroom for 20+ years. Out of curiosity when does a Duggar child start sleeping in boys or girls bedroom?

The baby is moved to the appropriate jender room, once they're weaned. Maybe six months? I'd be very resentful of my parents if I were the older girls. I doubt that a male newborn goes into the boy's room, for them to tend to. That's why God gave these idiots a bunch of girls in a row. To raise the siblings below them.
