Lori Alexander 55: God Frowns Upon Lying, Lori

Man complaining about women trying to take all the power from men in her Beth Moore post. Hmm but maybe that shouldn't be his main focus because where in the Bible does it say men should chase after having all the power? It doesn't. This whole focus on having all the power is wrong for both men and women. Having power shouldn't be the focus but rather good servant leadership. Jesus rebuke the disciples and Pharisee for that attitude. Idk it seems like many men are the ones obsessed with power of they're that obsessed with having all of it.

I follow Beth Moore on Twitter and while I don't know much about all her main teachings, her posts always seem honest and uplifting.

I kinda want to search MGTOW but I don't have time for that kind of anger today. I'll save mine for politics so I have the energy to attend upcoming voting days!
Suck it, men, I will continue to be civically active as my BASIC HUMAN RIGHT.

Trust me it will make you angry. MGTOW often combines with red pills and they're all a bunch of racist, white supremacist, women-hating loons.

Looks like DILs Erin and Emily had to be talked out of their careers. Ken writes:

Quote

In today’s world our boys had to find women who both wanted careers and were very capable to reach the top of success and together decide that family and marriage was far more important.

She deleted the Beth Moore post moments after these comments.  Also her DIL has posted the link in a positive way.  Apparently she like Beth and that may be the root of all of this.

Ken and Jeff are in a pissing match in the comments section under Lori's MGTOW post. They're arguing about Hallmark movies and whether or not they are "female porn". It feels like Ken is trying to cover his own ass on what his wifey says. And Jeff is such a dickhead about it. I sincerly hope the man isn't married.

I would try and summarize but I have fibro fog today and I wouldn't make sense.

Hallmark movies.......are......female porn.

I just want to leave it at that. Jesus Christ.

Another photo of her puke soup. This time she says she adds in a huge glob of butter. Glob and slather. She loves those words. The smell of cabbage and kale has got to be awful.

That picture is nausea-inducing. :puke-front:

I have never in my life put butter in vegetable soup. Why? Lori Alexander cannot cook, Kenny lost out even there, this shit does look like puke. I can cook much better than her and I have never been a SAHM and I am educated. I also, like many women, have my own retirement provided for. WTF is wrong with her thinking children and church are to care for widowed women? And it's like she never heard of Social Security (for anybody not her, that is). That ignorance bubble her and her fangirls live in is huge. Add glob to the list of ruined words. I also hate how she always says "my" einkhorn bread, "my" this, "my" that". Selfish bitch. Believe me, everybody knows you make that damn bread, its one of the few things you do other than misuse the bible to condemn women. Please go away, God doesn't need you to be his enforcer.

Well, we put cheese in a few soups - and maybe brown the onion in butter but to just add a glob?  UGH and 'its a great way to get healthy greens into your kids'?    My kids would have looked at that and slathered peanut butter and jelly on their store bought bread instead.   I think I would join them and I love soup.   You know, real soup - not that.

Oh - she and Nicole Naugler should attend cooking class together and see who could out mean who first!   Both are nasty pieces of work who can't cook.

So this is how you become a "keeper at home" serving hot meals to your headship.  One big pot of nasty slop that you serve all week.  Somehow I don't see this troll cutting up a whole chicken, straining it to make broth, and picking the meat off the bones.  If she has to blend the cabbage as a thickener the ding dong evidently doesn't know how to make a roux.

No self-respecting child I know would eat that shit. You would never know she was married from her food posts. She says she eats this mess most nights. Nothing about what Kenny eats. Me and Mr. SB at least coordinate, we don't always eat the same thing at the same time but if we are home together we will consider the other in our meal planning and likely end up having something we both like. Lori Alexander puts the s in selfish. Christian my ass.

Cheese is fine...broccoli and cheese soup anyone? And sure, browning onions, celery, leeks, etc. in a bit of butter is also fine. But adding a "glob" to a hot mug of soup would make the texture unappealing to me. I think Lori's taste buds have been warped by her many illnesses. I love soup and am looking forward to getting my pots going now that the weather is changing here, but I would drink dishwater before eating her crap, with or without the butter and excessive salt. So nasty.

Our dinner today...steak grilled in a cast iron skillet, mashed potatoes with sour cream and garlic, and roast broccoli. Pumpkin snickerdoodle cookies for dessert. I'll have a glass of moscato, Mr. SB doesn't drink. Now this is yum!

Somehow, I have the feeling she knows exactly how much Social Security she's going to get when ol' Kennyboy kicks the bucket. :my_dodgy:

I wouldn't feed that to my "garbage bin" cat. I mean, he'll eat anything, fights me for tortillas, pizza crust and coffee, but he wouldn't eat that shit.

IF I make soup (we're not big soup eaters), it'd be something like a thick, well seasoned, well simmered, split pea soup with a nice hambone in it, or something else made from scratch. Hub is Mr. Meat and Potatoes (or Rice). How much effort can it take to buy a few lbs of ground beef and prepare/freeze meatloaf, burger patties, etc? I do that shit all the damn time and I'm an ebil working wife. Ok, so when working the crazy OT I'm working, he survives on pizza and sandwiches, but...

Yeah, what works for her doesn't apply to her fangirls. She'll file before he's cold. Then, she will expect her children to give her whatever is needed to bring her income up to what it was while Kenny was alive. Heaven forbid that she would have to give up fourteen dollar a pound butter just because her meal ticket was dead.

Lori you don't have a freaking clue what you're talking about. You're obsessed with power dynamics. If that's your kink keep it to yourself. But the MeToo movement is not about women wanting power over men. They just want to be safe. So please go jump in a puddle and may you spend the rest of your life with wet socks and soggy jean bottoms.

Dinner tonight is chicken chili made in the crockpot. White meat chicken, green and red peppers, green chiles, onion, navy beans, chicken broth seasoned with cumin, oregano, and minced garlic. I have made this one on a weekday, too. Just cut onions and peppers and prepare chicken the night before then put it all in in the morning before I leave for work. It isn't that hard to make decent soup. Only Lori (or my SiL) could screw it up that badly.

We love soup and eat it all winter and, yes, will eat the same pot for three or four nights sometimes. Nothing wrong with that, but make it edible for God's sake.

Our summer hot weather is still with us, so no soup for us yet.

Mr. Dress has requested my split pea soup as soon as the weather obliges by getting cooler.  Bag of green or yellow split peas, chicken broth, a meaty ham bone (or hocks or jowls), chopped onions, chopped carrots, salt, pepper, marjoram to taste.  Cook it slowly, strip the meat from the bones and serve with salad and hot buttered French bread.

I supposed one could slather the butter, but I think spreading the butter works just as well.

Mr. Dress has also put in a request for chicken noodle soup (with peas and carrots). Without bragging (much) I'm a champion soup maker.  The secret, learned from my grandmother, is a rich flavorful stock. She always made hers from scratch. When I have a chance I make beef or chicken stock and then keep a jar in the fridge to use in the next week.

I will admit that sometimes I've used store bought stock (the kind in cartons), but always low sodium, no MSG.

The only time I've seen people put a little butter on soup is milk-based oyster stew or clam chowder.

Lori's soup looks disgusting, and I bet it smells vile.  No wonder Ken cooks for himself.

I made chili for lunch, it was actually "Dunch" - late lunch/early dinner.  I use a lot of chili powder, but it still wasn't hot enough.  We're Texan so chili is a very common meal for us. But we live in Oklahoma and it's a regional thing to have it over spaghetti or other cooked pasta.  Which is actually pretty good!  I have a couple of containers in the freezer so we can have it for lunch, along with two containers of a sort-of Chinese Lemon-ish Chicken over rice.  I cook big so that I can have a few servings in the freezer so a) I can have a good, hot lunch at my evil job if I want and b) Mr. Briefly can have a good, hot lunch at his self-employed job at home if he wants.  I do make chicken noodle soup sometimes, but I usually use canned broth plus lots of chopped onions, celery, carrots and fresh chicken breast that I cook and cut up.  I still don't use butter in my soup, except for a little when I make potato soup.

As for Lori and the #metoo or #believewomen issues, yes I do think she is trying to go viral again.  She would sell out anyone if she thought it would help her.  She would probably not even believe her own daughters if they claimed to be part of the #metoo membership.  Or any other woman, since we are all evil and lie in her opinion.  She makes me furious.  I'd prefer not to be part of that membership, but I am and it does not make me wrong!
