Lori Alexander 55: God Frowns Upon Lying, Lori

I know porn when I see it and Hallmark certainly isn't porn.  By their definition, a tv version of a sweet Harlequin romance novel is porn.  No sex, a little kissing, is porn?  I can't even begin to understand what is wrong with these people.

I remember back in the 70's when someone famous (I don't remember who, might have been Burt Reynolds) was in Playgirl and my mom and I went to the convenience store and bought one just to see what all the hoopla was about.  Yes, my mom, the Assembly of God minister's wife bought a Playgirl.

Lori explains in a footnote on her blog, which has today's post on there under a different title.  She's in Facebook jail, people! For hate speech!

Well, it was definitely there an hour ago or so. It said she wasn't allowed to post or comment on her post for an indefinite amount of time. Because persecution.

Regarding coffee, I prefer mine with milk and no sugar.  I don't like it to be really sweet.  Except for Saturday mornings, when I have Bailey's in it instead of milk.  I love flavored coffee, hazelnut is probably my favorite.

Not sure if it's because I'm on my phone but I didn't see a footnote. That does explain why I don't see any posts from her today. Its about dang time to!! I know  many people have reported her for hate speech. Hopefully it will be a very long hiatus.

@wallysmommy,  it was, indeed, the late Burt Reynolds but it was in the February '72 issue of Cosmopolitan right in the centerfold.  (I used the Wikipedia date, but I thought it was later, say in 1974.)  The Cosmo centerfold inspired the creation of Playgirl. I'm pretty impressed that your mom would buy the magazine.

RIP, Burt!

It must have been someone else that was Centerfold because I was an adult -- I turned 18 in 1977.  Maybe it was one of her favorite soap opera stars.  Yes, my mom was a pepper.  She wasn't the stereotypical preacher's wife -- didn't play the piano, didn't sing, and wrote hot historical romance novels (aka female porn).

Some kerrigold in coffee is the best damn coffee ever.

I however use coconut oil for the most part. I use it with some collagen. I blend it hot with my immersion blender. Right now, blending a little fat in with my coffee pads the effect of the caffeine for me and helps me to get in my good fat.

For gluten free people, we do blend to make it have texture since we cannot used canned "cream of" soups. I blend cauliflower though. Or make squash or broccoli soup.

Bless y'all butter in coffee people. I love me some coffee, but this would make me gag and die.

I don't see it,on my phone or computer. Did she delete it?  When someone is in FB jail, can they delete other people's comments on their page?

Ditto, I like most flavors except coconut, as I hate all things coconut. I like my coffee a tad sweet though.

I love a nice cabbage dish in colder weather.

I love sweet and sour cabbage soup, with or without chunks of beef.

It was on her blog, not FB, and I'm not seeing it there, either. She must have deleted it. I'm guessing she's going to write a blistering blog post about how persecuted she is. She's going to milk this FB jail thing for everything she can possibly get out of it. We will NEVER hear the end of it!  :pb_rollseyes:

A sad day when you start agreeing with Ken because lunatics who think lesbians are witches and that viewing examples of positive relationships is akin to pornography are flocking to Lori's blog

I think they consider Hallmark movies and christian romance books pprn because they are "emotional" porn for women and Gove them unrealistic expectations of men.

It is deleted now though. This was from earlier. Now is the chance for anyone not banned to comment because she can't delete.

Thanks for catching that, @AlwaysDiscerning  I wonder what the usual jail sentence time is? A week? Two weeks?  Won't stop her from posting on her blog, though, or on Instagram, unfortunately.

:pb_eek:  Does this mean she can't post in her private chat room, either? Hahahahahahaha!

Lori Alexander's biggest failing is equating her speech with God's, and hating her twisted woman-hating rants with hating God. She has made God in her image. I'm so glad her hate is paused for a minute. Delusional woman.

If Lori was down on FB it wasn't for very long. She's up, but today's post is not on there. And, her note about her FB page being down on today's post was taken off.

Her FB page will remain up even though she's in FB 'jail.' She just can't post or comment on it for awhile. Others can continue to comment on old posts, though.

And apparently she can't even delete anything now, so any  comments made while she's in jail will remain for the duration.

Yes, it’s the whole “women aren’t sexual, they’re emotional” (and its equally ridiculous corollary, “men are only sexual, not at all emotional”). Therefore, in his screwed-up mind, male porn is people having sex, female porn is people having romance.

There have been comments deleted. I forgot she has her whole team of admins that can still do that.

Well, that sucks. I wonder if her 'admins' can write new posts? Or if Ken can? Knowing Lori, she'll find some way around this. All while crying persecution. :my_dodgy:

Here's the verses that support her "persecution:":

Alexander Chapter 4

Verse 3 -- And they shall call your version of truth hate speech, and thou shalt be banned from Facebook.

Verse 4 -- Fear not, for the Lord will raise you up through your blog and Instagram, and thou shalt be able to proclaim your own godliness throughout the land.

Verse 5 -- I will bless thee with Einkorn bread and cabbage soup/slop, for it is holy and healthy.

Verse 6 -- For thou hast been faithful in declaring my wrath with those wearing yoga pants and those who provide for their families by working outside the home.

Lori Alexander's biggest failing is equating her speech with God's,

I've always been taught that God can't be put in a box and I believe that. God is bigger than any name over a door (meaning any one denomination) and is not entirely knowable although we get understanding and glimpses through scripture and creation.  For example we can know God's power by looking at creation. I feel it when I look out at the ocean or a magnificent mountain range and see the vastness, power and beauty. I feel God when I see the complexity of living organizations (all the systems so well designed and working together to support life) and all different wonderful creatures (Thank you, God, for elephants and giraffes!)  And even in complexity, God's commands are simple: Love God and love they neighbor as thyself.

I feel like Lori is always putting God in a nice, neat box of her own design.  She misinterprets and fully misses the lessons certain passages are trying to teach by boxing it into a list of do's and don'ts.  She doesn't understand context.  My faith is of utmost importance to me, but I would be foolish to think I know and think like God.  Its a journey not a destination.
